A SELF-STYLED Islamist teacher from Melbourne who has been targeted by ASIO says he admires Osama bin Laden and supports holy war and attacks on Australian and US soldiers.But Abdul Nacer Benbrika, also known as Abu Bakr, denies he poses any threat to Australia.
The dual national Algerian/Australian citizen, who runs a fundamentalist study group, says he would be betraying his religion if he discouraged his students from training as terrorists.
Some of them are believed to have undertaken training with terrorist groups in central Asia.
Mr Benbrika maintains he is no threat to Australia's security, and is demanding the return of his passport, which ASIO has confiscated. He has lived in Melbourne for the past 16 years and has a pregnant wife and six young children...

I can't tell whether he is a consumate liar or just really dense: he encourages jihad, exhorts his kids to go to training camp yet he maintains he is no threat.

C'mon Australia! Take an obvious lesson from the UK before it's to late. Monitoring this fellow by your Intelligence agency is not enough to protect the people of Melbourne from the dangerous incitement of the younger and easily influenced Islamic little brains of mush.

This man must have his citizenship revoked, as I would expect mine to be if I spoke such treasonous and evil thoughts.
