ONE of Britain's most radical Muslim converts, Abdur Raheem Green, will visit Australia later this month to lecture on the importance of jihad.Mr Green -- a British citizen born Anthony Green, who has two wives and six children -- was invited to Sydney by the Islamic Development Centre of Australia. In previous speeches, he has said Muslims and Westerners "cannot live peaceably together".
"The truth is that Islam teaches its followers to seek death on the battle field, that dying whilst fighting jihad is one of the surest ways to paradise and Allah's good pleasure," he said.
He said it. I am just quoting him here at Jihad Watch. How did he learn this version of Islam? Where was Sir Iqbal Sacranie and the Vast Majority of Decent, Law-Abiding British Muslims when he learned it? What is that Vast Majority doing now to disabuse other Muslims in Britain of such ideas? What's that? I'm an "Islamophobe" for asking such questions? I see.
He says conflict between Islam and the West is "not only sanctioned but ordered in the Koran".Mr Green's visit will be preceded by another seminar on August 13 when three local sheiks, including a cleric accused of having links to terrorist organisations, will speak on the topic "Jihad: Terrorism? Or a Muslim's Highest Aspiration?".
Tickets for the events are being distributed by Muslim bookshops, mosques and welfare agencies.
Sheik Abdul Salam Zoud, who has twice been accused of having links to terrorism, will speak at the event organised by the Muslim Women's Association.
Spanish authorities claimed last year that Sheik Zoud had been in contact with al-Qa'ida leaders in Europe. American authorities say he is linked to a cleric recently charged with attempting to wage war on the US. The sheik denies the charges.
A Muslim Women's Association spokeswoman said the group chose the word "jihad" as the topic of the lecture "because it gets attention".
"We want this forum to be a success," she said. "We hope it brings out the best in people. We don't condone terrorism or violence. We just want Muslims to take control of the debate."
The organiser of Mr Green's tour sought to defend him yesterday. "He does not condone violence," Mohammed Masri said. "He's got long blond hair, blue eyes. He's not a dark-skinned, hairy-face guy that frightens people."
Oh, he's got blonde hair? Well, why didn't you say so? That makes it ok! Preach on, Raheem Green! (Actually, this kind of thing just points up the absurdity of those who cry "racism" at people who speak about jihadist violence and violent rhetoric.)
John Howard yesterday signalled tougher laws for people who incited terrorism, saying current laws "at least require a further review".Opposition Leader Kim Beazley said visitors should not be permitted to "come into this country and preach a hatred of another person".
Yep. But what do you bet Green makes it in?

cru sade' n. An inner spiritual struggle. It is the non-Muslim equivalent of the inner spiritual struggle doctrine of jihad. Practitioners include USAF AC130 crews and quasi-monastic sects such as Marine scout-snipers. Crusader charities such as the U.S. Department of Defense are designed as a public service to aid jihadis to achieve the sublime state of martyrdom.
This is about the first time that I have seen an English-language newspaper come out and show how Islamic violence stems from the qur'an, rather than pretending that terrorism is a corruption of Islam. I hope that 'The Australian' has a large enough readership.
I am a great fan of Mr. Green. I hope he doesn't hold back and really let's it fly when (if) he comes to Australia.
I personally hope he will froth from the mouth when he spews his hatred and thereby gives us enough rope to hang him with...

Elephant, The Australian has a nation wide audience here in Australia.
But the whole article shows just how pathetic and weak our societies have become (which invites our enemies to attack us) in that people like this are allowed to come into the country, even get citizenship and vote, that the tickets are being sold right here in Australia. Hooray for the Left and Political Correctness!! The Jihadi's love it. The Left carries on about what damage the Christians have done, but at least we didn't sell out our own country.
I know for a fact that if my Grandmothers generation were young and in control (The ones that fought World War 2 & WW1) they would whip out there guns and protect their country. They wouldn't stand for it. But they were educated differently. Today we are "tolerant".
Today we are unarmed, while our politicians sell us out for thirty pieces of silver. It is pure stupidity, that will ultimately result in more lives lost, on both sides. Better to nip the problem in the budd now!

Organizations like CAIR, et.al., cannot be trusted, in spite of their phony "fatwas" against terrorism. They are not required to tell the infidel the truth! "Holy hypocrisy" is a virtue in Islam.
The goal of all Moslems is to conquer the world for Islam, with sharia being the ONLY law allowed.
To the extent that a Moslem does not support that goal, he is going against the true teachings of Islam. A Moslem is 'moderate" only to the extent that he/she rejects the actual teachings of Islam taken in their entirety.
In the West, the issue of separation of church and state was largely settled, in theory, by the Enlightenment (the way being prepared by the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation), and while Christianity remains a strong influence in Western civilization, the "secular" values of the Enlightenment form the basis of our Western constitutions and democratic systems of government. The constitution, not the Bible, is the supreme law of the land, and in Western societies the two have had to learn to accomodate one another in a balance that is, admittedly, often tested and sometimes difficult to maintain. The secularist and the "person of faith" must nonetheless learn to live with one another.
Moslems, however, have not had their own version of the Enlightenment, and secular governments in the Islamic world have had to get and hold power pretty much by brute force. The world view of Islam is still stuck in the Middle Ages, where church and state were one.
Moslems have, therefore, proven to be an aggressive presence, a threat, and a disaster in every non-Moslem country to which they have migrated (not to mention the many divisions within the Moslem world itself!). Assimilation into the West is problematic at best. One only has to look at present day Europe to see the difficulty.
The claim is sometimes heard that, in the United States, Moslems have assimilated better than they have in Europe. I am not convinced of that. The Moslem population of the United States is becomming increasingly critical, demanding, and aggressive. In short, the same problems are now showing up here as in Europe.
It is my opinion that to allow uncontrolled Moslem immigration into the West is suicidal, and they must also be under close scrutiny while visiting. I fail to see how they can assimilate and still remain faithful Moslems. The world view of Islam and the world view of the Western societies/democracies are diametrically opposed - it's that simple.
I think Tony Blair, in his press conference yesterday (full text), is now on the right track. He is starting to realize that the best protection against the Islamic terrorists is controlling who is in the country, who stays in the country, and who gets into the country in the first place - in other words, "It's the BORDER, stupid!"
