Hmmm...FOX news just had a segment on Michael Graham's firing.The report noted CAIRs role in the firing and also noted that CAIR has been slow to criticize terrorism. One person interviewed in the segment said that the relationship of Islam and terrorism must be discussed. This person also said an organization with the baggage of CAIR is in no position to set the standards for the discussion.

What can be done by way of getting not only the attention of WMAL, and its owners, but of all other stations? Appeals to morality or decency will not work. Economic damage can work. How can such economic damage be inflicted? Possibly by all those who are outraged making clear that those who continue to advertise on WMAL, whatever the program, will see their goods and services relentlessly boycotted. This could be announced by a group of listeners at a press conference -- that they will not tolerate this kind of censorship. At the press conference they can quote from Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira about the advice to strike "terror" into the hearts of enemies, and other useful passages (e.g., 9.29). Let the local news, let the newspapers, report. And report too on the boycott, and the urging of others to join that boycott.
It it is a matter of numbers, and of determination. Are there not enough people willing, inside and outside of the WMAL listening area, who are willing to boycott every single one of the companies that advertises on WMAL? Everyone should be delighted to do so.
So who lives in Washington who comes to this site, and who is willing to organize, and announce, such a boycott? It costs nothing, after all. It costs only the intent to choose Goods & Services X rather than Goods & Services Y, Company A over Company B, all based on the fact that Y, and B, both continue to advertise on WMAL.
I'm going to write a blurb and post Hugh's letter at my blog. I don't live within earshot of D.C. but there are some of my millions of readers who do. If they too post this letter at their blogs and if it spreads we might get some action at last.
I watched the very brief interview on O'Reilly tonight and I was very disappointed. O'Reilly's first major gaffe was to say that he couldn't accept that Islam is a terrorist organization because there are "two billion" practicing muslims. His second blunder was to repeat the hackneyed mantra: "Islam has been hijacked by radicals" and "only about ten percent of muslims are radicals." O'Reilly wasn't much help at all, but at least he had Mr. Graham on his show. There wasn't enough time to explicate C.A.I.R.'s role in Mr. Graham's firing, although Graham did try to contradict O'Reilly's erroneous estimate of "ten percent radical muslims."
Basically, O'Reilly defended Islam. It is quite apparent that he does not have a clue and at this stage of the game, he is remiss in his ignorance.
I hate to say it, but even the blustery O'Reilly is not immune to political correctness. He did make the statement that Graham should not have been fired for what he said, but the interview should have focused on C.A.I.R.'s demands that he be fired, and the insidious nature and history of this seditious Islamic organization.
Nothing much can be expected of this blowhard. He is not about to study Islam. Why should he, since those who are his fans apparently forgive him his every stupidity? An embarrassment, and a simulacrum.

Michael Graham was good and got in some good points about Islam. Graham's reference to the poll that showed 27% of Muslims polled in Britian would not warn of a pending terror attack was particularly telling. O'Reilly on the other hand was an embarassment.His ignorance of Islam showed. Two bil Muslims? Islam hijacked? Only 1-2% of Muslims violent? Wouldn't that translate into 10-20 mil potential mass murders? Someone needs to give Bill a copy of Robert's book.
If Spencer decides to close comments,then it is up to us,and what we do that will decide if this a victory for the muslims.I will not be happy to see the comments close,and would like them to remain open,never-less,with a bit of of positive thinking.an awful lot of good can be gained.

Many of us spend sometimes hours here discussing our views. I feel that it's time to take our views to other discussion boards in order to make more people aware. If we all put forth a collective effort, I believe that we can reach thousands more. It's important that we come across professionally. That way, we gain credibility and increase our growth potential. We have a large audience out there that has yet to be tapped into We shouldn't be looking to debate those who are opposed to our views, but rather appeal to those who may embrace our views. Unfortunately some debating with the anti crowd is necessary in order to allow others to see that we're clearly right in our endeavors. This is an issue where diversity can pay high dividends. Let's use every resource that is afforded to us and make things happen. I'd like for fellow JW/DWers to reply to this and let others know what they're doing to help the cause with regard to the internet

There are thousands of different forums on the web populated by tens of millions of people all over the world. When you post on some of the larger forums as many as 10 to 20 thousand people will read your posts, and sometimes, if it is good enough, interesting enough, compelling enough, many of those 10,000 will copy it and send it to their friends, and their friends to their friends, etc.
So how do breach the gap.
Let's take the best forums for our side first, anti-control, anti-immigration forums, anti goverment, a natural audience for us.
There are many JWd/W articles you can paste into your posts,and there are many links to articles, etc. etc.
Next you have antiwar sites of both right and left and many newspaper forums that have numerous posts about the war. What a great place to put
links or links to Roberts,hughes articles on Islams role in this insane war.The opportunities abound.
There are huge numbers of Christian sites, we should not abandon our brethren who are Christian church goers, we should turn them into an army within their churches for the truth. You should see the eyes of the Christians I talk to when I show them That their own Bible

There are 10,000 forums. If your posts are intelligent and thought-provoking other people on the forums will begin discussing your posts and the play will become very wide again. Any dedicated person can reach tens of thousands of new people with our message each evening if they are disciplined enough to do it!
Try to engage in friendly dialogue, instead of preaching
People like to read intelligent, funny, posts and reposts. People like to see their ideas discussed. We are obviously trying to push a line of thought, but try to use some humor, interesting personal experiences and avoid flaming.
Remember, no one likes one time posters
Better to have a few quality post and replys rather than to have a thousand one time posts that get ignored because no one is there to back up the claims.
Ask questions that make people that make think,such as
Why are the same Moslems who condemn the public observance of the Christmas holiday as unconstitutional or unconstitutional for Christians to say "Merry Christmas" or sing Christmas carols? allowed to receive millions of tax payer dollars from Christians for the support and aid of many Islamic states
The thing is you don't want to spam a group, unless it's a message well designed as a thread starter, perhaps in the form of a topic and question and then you plan to return to each one of the groups you posted in to answer questions.
Imagine if you posted an important topic but never returned to answer questions there. This would show disgenuiness on your behalf. Personally, and I think I speak for most people, I hate spammers and 90% of their messages get ignored anyway. Also, remember that most groups will ban you if the moderator thinks you are spamming the board.
My best advice is to be there in person, ready to discuss and debate topics with members using the best of your talented abilities. Your character and conduct are just as important as the message you are trying to get across

The secret to transitioning from computer activism to street activism is to just go out and do it.
For starters get some National flags, good signs and a good banner. The banner can say:
DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS or
STOP ISLAMIC IMMIGRATION.
These are very generic and can be used over and over again.
Find a busy interesection in a area with good rush hour traffiic. Then just stand there with your banner and your signs and National flag. Do it for two hours. I've done a bunch of these and the reaction of the motorists is exhilerating. They honk, give thumbs up, cheer, etc. It's a great morale builder. YOu can do this kind of gig with two people. More is ok but two is all you need. The point is once you do it once, it gets easier to do it all the time.
Another area of demonstration is meetings held by POLITICIANS etc. Just stand outside on the street with your signs, flags and banner. For best results, have a local website that has contact info and an anti-illegal alien theme. It does not have to be complicated, but it does have to be there. You can make up home grown tailor made fliers for your demonstrations that have local themes, etc. or whatever would be most effictive. The important thing is to have your web site or other contact info on your fliers.
Call the local press in advcance and you'll get some press for your efforts. Press is a great way to generate interest and recruitment.
Listen! THe most important thing about activism is to just get active. Start small. It's cheap, easy, low risk. You will really be encouraged by the postivie reaction of the passing motorists, believe me. When you see how sympathetic people are to us, it will give you a whole different perspective ont he issue.
One more thing.... What is needed is more people to get up from their computer screen and just go out and meet people face to face the old fashioned way.
So let not think that the closing of the COMMENTS as something negative,It is a chance to go on to do greater things

Bill's comment that the terrorists have "hi-jacked the religion" shows a basic ignorance of the truth about the teachings of Islam. If anything, it is the ideology of Islam has "hi-jacked" billions of souls. How does O'Reilly explain the fact that the perpetrators of thousands of Islamofascist terror attacks worldwide have only one thing in common? That one thing is not race, it is not culture, it is not language, or customs... IS IS STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE TEACHINGS OF ISLAM!
But all of this misses the major point raised by ABC's firing of Graham under pressure from CAIR. This action demonstrates that CAIR, an arm of the Islamofascist enemies of America, can successfully attack our First Ammendment right to freely expose our enemies. Truly, this is a grave situation that needs our utmost attention. Failing that, none of us will be able to speak the truth about this cancer that has spread worldwide.

Your quick calculation is mathematically quite correct, but if left for itself it may suggest that if we were somehow able to isolate the terrorists from the non-terrorist and kill them we would have effectively wiped out moslem terrorism.
The problem with that assumption is that it doesn’t take for account that it will be a matter of short time before the moslem world would yield the host of another 20 million (or more) terrorists to replace the missing ones.
One must understand that the ratio of extremists to moderates in ANY civilization is constant because it is defined by the very nature of a given civilization. It can not change any more than the number of teeth in shark’s jaw. A shark’s broken and worn off teeth are constantly replaced by new ones as long as shark lives. The only way to stop the teeth-growing capability of the shark is to kill it. Or isolate the animal for a few million years on strictly vegetarian diet and see if the evolution may take its course…
Anyway, taking its teeth off, or feeding the beast, as we do with the beast of Islam, is not going to somehow change its nature.

Yeah. I heard O'Reilly before. He should get his facts right. He is way off when it comes to Islam and terror. But again, his network is Disney/Al Waleed-Saudi money driven and he will not rock the boat. Perhaps he would like to, but to see what happened to Michael Graham would not encourage the likes of him...

From living in the DC area a while ago, I know that Rosen's (Roozen's ?)Nursery has a Sunday morning show and that an attorney, Michael T. Collins of McLean, VA, and a financial planner, Ric Edelman, have long had Saturday morning shows on WMAL.
CAIR shouldn't be so smug. They're getting cut off at the legs with their defamation suit against Anti-CAIR, and then there's that little matter of a number of their executive members being convicted of terrorism-related activites.
I'm not sure that Michael Graham is contemplating a Wrongful Dismissal suit, but I'd wish him all the best if he does file one.
