George Galloway continues his ardent pursuit of dhimmitude. From the BBC, with thanks to Zalbion:
MP George Galloway is being accused of putting UK troops at risk after calling insurgents in Iraq "martyrs".During a tour of the Middle East, Mr Galloway spoke of "poor Iraqis" using the most basic weapons to write the names of their towns "in the stars".
The Respect MP accused the UK and America of "raping" Baghdad and said the US was losing the war.
Labour MP Eric Joyce said the comments endangered UK troops "in a small way" but Mr Galloway held little influence.
Mr Galloway's Respect party stresses that it and the Bethnal Green and Bow MP condemn suicide bombings, whether in London or the Middle East.
Any loss of civilian life is profoundly wrong, says the party, but it blames the US-UK coalition for turning Iraq into a war zone by their invasion.
Mr Galloway claimed the insurgents were ordinary Iraqis defending their country against "foreign invaders".
"It can be said, truly said, that the Iraqi resistance is not just defending Iraq. They are defending all the Arabs and they are defending all the people of the world against American hegemony."
'Martyrs'
In one speech, the MP said: "These poor Iraqis - ragged people, with their sandals, with their Kalashnikovs, with the lightest and most basic of weapons - are writing the names of their cities and towns in the stars, with 145 military operations every day, which has made the country ungovernable.
"We don't know who they are, we don't know their names, we never saw their faces, they don't put up photographs of their martyrs, we don't know the names of their leaders."
This guy is out of his mind. What a piece of work he is.

Why isn't Galloway facing charges of sedition and treason?
It isnt just Gasbag georgie boy - every day, if you watch the heavyweight news on the BBC, you'll see a line up, from mainstream, 'moslem community leaders' to the more swivel-eyed variety, holding forth with opinions which are, frankly treasonable and seditious.
And what happens? They get a visit from Blears to see if there's any way we can be more islam-friendly, maybe a bung for the imams to help them spread theiir filth in english.

Why isn't George Gallawi being charged? He may have won a libel suit (not hard to do in England) against The Telegraph, but what about those vouchers for oil -- Gallawi carefully says he never received "money" from the regime of Saddam Hussein (vouchers are not money), but no one asks him, under oath, whether he received anything of value.
Those incriminating documents in Iraq were not fakes. Neither the British nor the Americans would at that point have gone to the trouble to single out Gallawi for special attention. There is no doubt that they were real. What is keeping the British government from bringing charges about that voucher business, and about the diversion of funds raised ostensibly for that little Iraqi girl, to which such very large donations were made by so very few, and easily traceable, donors, mostly Arab governments.
It cannot be that Gallawi will remain outside Wormwood Scrubs forever, can it?

This has long been my particular gripe, and I am not alone. My ears pricked up today when the morning DJ went through the news headlines and got to the Express. Not my favourite paper admittedly. They don't seem to carry the story on their website, http://www.express.co.uk/index.html although the headline is clear - FURY OVER BBC'S BIAS TO MUSLIMS. Apparently the BBC has admitted packing the panel and studio audience of a current affairs programme (I don't know which one) with Muslims after the islamic terrorist murders of & July. Nothing on the BBC website of course. So we are not imagining things.
Scottish colleagues reliably inform me that this "man", & I use that word in its loosest context, could not get elected by the Scottish in Scotland, certainly could not get elected in England by the English, so had to get elected in Londonistan by Muslims.
One Glaswegian here at work wishes Galloway would take speech lessons to make him sound less Scottish. I have heard many Scottish people say that over the years.
When the East Londonistan Muslims get brave enough to stand their own "brother" up for election in East Londonistan, then Galloway will be finished. He may be surviving on Muslim bungs now, but that will dry up when they have an alternative. He is, afterall still an infidel to them.
Hopefully he will end up a sad & lonely figure - without friend, country nor community to offer him succour.
I am more hopeful still that he will be alone in a carriage with an Islamofascist suicide bomber in the next wave of attacks.
Maybe he should now be called Zargalloway. He bragged that he blew cigar smoke at the White House. Sounds to me like he's been blowing smoke all along

It has killed far more people than Adolph Hitler. It has killed far more people than George Bush. The economic system which these people support, which leaves most of the people in the world hungry, and without clean water to drink. So we're going to put them on trial, the leaders, when they come. They think they're coming for a holiday in a beautiful country called Scotland; in fact, they're coming to their trial.
I can't mention, I'm sorry to say, any Arab leader... Where is the... Nasser? Where is the Arab leader who will stand up and tell these people the truth? This is what we are waiting for.
We want to make reparation to the Palestinian people for the crimes of Balfour which were committed in the building behind me, when one person, on behalf of one country, promised a second people the lands of a third people - the Palestinians. We are determined that we should stop the privatization of basic services of the British people. We are determined to defend the liberty of the British people which is being taken away day by day under the name of anti-terrorism. Ancient freedoms, which we had for hundreds of years, are being taken away from us under the name of the war on terror, when the real big terrorists are the governments of Britain and the United States. No they are not your ordinary Iraqis Mr.Galoonyway: They are former Baathists who where part of Saddams thugs. They are disgruntled Sunnis, but the lead terrorist is a Jordanian by the name of Zarqawi with ties to Bin Laden who was a Saudi steeped in Waahabism, there are remnants of talaban influence, there are Syrian,Iranian,Saudi,and Pakistani insurgents. There have been insurgents from the UK, France, and Germany, No Mr. Galoonyway they are not your average Iraqis.
I alredy said what I think of this vile creature. He is lower than William Joyce (Lord Haw Haw), who lived his misguided life with coherence and courage and stood his trial and was hanged like a gentleman. He is lower than Vidkun Quisling, who was a Fascist out of convinction, not careerism, and quarrelled with his Nazi bosses when he saw need. No, the only comparison is with the vile figure of Pierre Laval, the lowest of the French traitors. Laval died at the end of a rope, and it is my sincere hope that Galloway may meet a similar end. I am against the death penalty in peacetime, but we are at war, and the death penalty for high treason in wartime seems to me obvious and necessary.
Robert errs in referring to George Galloway as a dhimmi. He is not. Dhimmies act submissive to Islam out of fear of Muslim terror.
Galloway is an active and enthusiastic collaborator. He's not afraid of Muslim terror -- he welcomes it.
I have to admit, Gallawi displays all the signs of a convert - the lunatic hyberbole and downright lies, the obligatory inclusion of the phrase 'raping muslim women' in every speech, and the money-grubbing corruption.
Incidentally, I remeber this guy from many a long year in Scotland, and he hasnt got any nicer over time.

Galloway is a moslem. No matter what difficulties the marriage is in, he is married to a niece of Yasser Arafat, which makes her a kinswoman of al Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, friend of Hitler and Himler, inspector of gas chambers, chaplain of nazi moslem stormtroopers and the rest. There is no way a woman of a family of such high profile in the Moslem world would have been allowed to marry a non moslem.

Gallaway brings to mind William Joyce (April 24, 1906 – January 3, 1946), known as Lord Haw-Haw was a fascist politician and Nazi propaganda broadcaster to the United Kingdom during World War II.
Joyce joined the British Union of Fascists under Sir Oswald Mosley in 1932, and swiftly became a leading speaker, praised for his power of oratory.
He was instrumental in changing the full name of the BUF to British Union of Fascists and National Socialists in 1936. He stood as a BUF candidate in the 1937 elections to the London County Council. However, when Mosley drastically reduced the BUF staff shortly after the elections (sacking Joyce), he left to form a breakaway organization, the National Socialist League.
In late August 1939, shortly before World War II commenced, he and his wife, Margaret, fled to Germany. He had been tipped off, probably by Maxwell Knight of MI5, that the British authorities intended to detain him under Defence Regulation 18B. Joyce became a naturalised German in 1940.
'Lord Haw-Haw Joyce became the best-known propaganda broadcaster Besides broadcasting, Joyce's duties included distributing propaganda among British prisoners of war, whom he tried to recruit into the British Free Corps, as a branch of the Waffen SS.
At the end of the war, he was captured by British forces near the German-Danish border at Flensburg.
He was tried on three counts of high treason.
Joyce was executed on January 3, 1946, at Wandsworth Prison and became the last man hanged for Treason in the United Kingdom. The hangman was Albert Pierrepoint.
Maybe it is time for britian to start thinking about bringing back the death penalty in the name of human rights,not the rights of skum who blow up innocent folks

It now appears that one of Galloway's heros, Mao Tse Tung, murdered at least 70 million innocent people. Another of his heros, Stalin, murdered at least 20m innocents. And so on. As his friend in N. Korea, Kim, is still murdering innocents, he should have a hard time proving capitalism is a more efficient killer than communism, socialism, including the national variety, and islamo fascism.

The guy is a muslim. His sayings reflect a deep study and understanding of islam, his vile and rants show the side he has chosen, his use of word play is identical to the imans and muslims we see, his loyalty is to muslim lands and allah not his home country.
He is a out front soldier of islam while being a closet worshipper.

I loathe Fascists, but Joyce was too coherent and honourable a man to deserve comparison with this creature. I doubt it would have occurred to him to use his friendship with tyrants to enrich himself. No, Galloway is the Pierre Laval of our times. And, Shiva, I already pointed out that there is no need to bring back the death pnealty in peacetime (which I would oppose in principle): if we accept that we are at war, then Galloway is a traitor in wartime, and any military code in the world demands, and rightly demands, the death penalty for treason. Galloway belongs at the end of a rope or before a firing squad.

No, 'kkin'tolerance. Galloway was not criticizing the strategy or grounds for the allies' war-fighting; he had nothing to say about that. He was calling the murderous monsters who murdered thousands of Iraqis "martyrs". There is no way on Earth that you can have failed to see the enormous difference between criticizing the conduct of a war on the one side and praising the murderers of civilians on the other. You are deliberately equivocating, and not in a very clever way either. I suggest you shut your 'kkin' mouth for a while and try at least to find some less stupid arguments.

Bollocks. They are trying to re-impose a Sunni dictatorship on the Shi'ites and Kurds. Except this time it won't be the secular fascism of Saddam, but theocratic fascism. I don't believe for a minute that the terrorists in the west or the insurgents in Iraq really care for the people of Iraq. If they did, they would respect the decision of the Iraqi people and allow their representatives to get on with the business of reconstruction. The "resistance" are sectarian murderers who lust for power, and know they can't get it through the ballot box.

Please, King. How can you suggest that George Galloway, of all people, has hands that are free of blood, both of the Iraqi people and the troops that went in there to topple Saddam. He and his lovely wife, in the best tradition of her late uncle Yasser Arafat, misappropriate funds raised supposedly in the name of a young Arab girl suffering from cancer to buy a villa in Spain. And he is very heavily implicated in oil-for-food. Talk about blood money.
As for the justifications for invading Iraq being bogus, I know you've referenced frontpagemag.com for the purposes of demonstrating that one lone Muslim professor in San Diego says the Koran gives Israel to the Jews. Have you read any of the many recent articles by Stephen F. Hayes on the connections between Saddam and commentaries on what the mainstream media persists in ignoring re: evidence that has emerged since the invasion re: precursor materials? Check the archives and google on the author's name.
George Galloway is a fool who offers sops to Facists - but he's not a total idiot, because he at least questions the logic of this war. The Iraqis didn't want to be liberated, they don't want democracy, there were no Al-Qaida there and no WMD's. The whole thing is/was pointless.
All Muslim countries are beyond help, 75% of Muslims are hostile and ungrateful. So where is the logic in trying to fix their problems? We need voices raised against engagement in Islamic countries as much as we need voices raised against Islam in the West.
We can't have our cake and eat it. If we want them to get out of our house, we have to get out of theirs. Then we can get on with moving humanity forward and they can get on with wallowing in their Third World, backward, violent dictatorial hell holes, which they are quite welcome to, and which we should not step foot within.
