Indian state on alert following jihad bomb attacks

Jihad in India update. "Indian state on alert following Islamist bomb attacks," from Reuters, with thanks to Twostellas:

India's northeastern state of Assam sounded a maximum security alert after Islamist terrorists engineered a series of explosions, blowing up oil and gas pipelines, power installations and railway tracks, killing four people, a news agency report said Monday.

The Anglosphere and India are going to have to dig in, side by side, for the long haul.

US_infidel, I am seeking data on the number of deads because of Islam conquest. Could you tell me your sources about the 60-70 millions? Thanks.

,,, so there comes another target for the global jihad: Assam.

Oil and gas? Sounds familiar. Doesn't that stuff belong to the sons of Allah?

Israel, Cashmir, South-Thailand, Mindanao, the Moluccas, Darfur etc.

The Jihad continues. The "oppressed" muslims sure have their 'grievances...'

Westman:
This page says "100 million". I have seen various
reports which put the number between 50-100 million.
Unfortunately a formal study of this in universities seems to have been ignored or suppressed both in In dia and in the West.

Just as the arabs who live in Israel seem to be good citizens, I wonder if the arabs in India are mostly good citizens, and that these attacks come from Kashmir or Pakistan?

If Islam could co-exist with any non-sharia state, I would have guessed it would be India.

If anyone understands the historical context of Indians trying to co-exist with its Islamic citizens, I would be interested in your thoughts.

I've posted this on Dhimmi Watch as well:

There is quite a bit of irony in the fact that the pilgrimage to Mecca represents a form of idol worship, one of the cardinal sins of Islam. The Black Stone, held in the Kaaba, represents the centre of the Islamic world. Most pilgrims will try desperately to touch and kiss The Stone as they circumambulate the Kaaba. This ritual is probably a legacy of pre-Mohammedan animism.

Some Hindus have suggested from the color and shape of The Black Stone, that it is essentially a Shiva Lingam, perhaps initially worshipped by Hindu traders to Arabia or brought over by Arabs themselves to worship. Either seems possible as the most sacred and oldest Shiva temple in India, Somnath, is located on the West coast of the most Western of India's states, Gujarat, which was and continues to be a major trading partner with the Arab world.

Like Muslims circumambulating the Kaaba, Hindus worship Shiva by walking around the Shiva Lingam. It would be ironic indeed if billions of Muslims through the centuries have been worshipping Shiva, particularly since Hindus are regarded as the ultimate sinners by Muslims for practicing idolatry, and since Somnath has been the most frequently destroyed of temples by Muslim conquerors.

God bless the Hindus in India. My prayers go out to you. We all deserve to live without the constant threat of jihad at our throats, but I'm afraid that day is a distant hope. We need more awareness and a lot less apeasement. I read the above link and promise this information will not stop with me.

Forgive me for putting the previous comment so many times. I've been having server problems.

I'm glad this site exists for informed discussion and for sharing ideas.

Voice of Reason: Speaking as the official Voice of [one] Tradition here, I would wish you would recognize that not all Muslims are Arabs and vice versa. In the Indian subcontinent, most Muslims are speakers of Urdu, an Indo-European language, rather than Arabic, which is Semitic. Also, of the world's 1.2 Muslims (whether fanatical or statistical), only 10% are Arab. Further, apart from small minorities, Arabic is not spoken much east of Iraq.

Well Assam is a in much precarious position than Kashmir. That state has been under demographic seige from Bagladeshi illegals. There are only 3% indegenious Assamee Muslims but still state continues to harbour abt 28%Muzzie population whichi is predominantly bengali. Ofcourse they claim to b "Bharotheeya" (Bengali pronouciation of Bhartiya i.e Indian) and allege tat "Hindu" govt is out to evict them by putting illegal migrant tag on them. These bengalis recieve support from Communist party which is in power in neighbouring West Bengal and Indian lefties... prominant papers like TOI cry hoarse abt the "xenophobia" of ethnic Assamis when issue of deportation is in focus... a few days ago TOI editorial put forward the case for signing a free trade agreement, similar to one signed with Nepal which grants Nepali citizens all rights of Indian citizens and tat editorial alleged tat it was due to communalism tat India doesnt sign the same pact wit BDesh coz its Muslim. Over past 20 years only 100000 Bangladeshi nationals have been deported whlist they number abt 10 million in the state. Whats more BDesh refuses to recognise tat its citizens are involved in wanton illegal immigration to India and continually refuse to accept back the deportees. Moreover BDesh provides refuge for ULFA and other sepratist terror orgs which are active in Indias northeast.

Westman,

As sococm pointed out, no real official statistics are available to determine the exact number of Hindus that were slaughtered during the Islamic invasions. Unlike the Jewish holocaust, the exact toll of the Hindu genocide is not available, but some records have been left by the Muslims themselves during their many conquests:

• According to the secretary of Mahmud Gahzni, Tarikh-i-Yamini of Utbi - "The blood of the infidels flowed so copiously [at Thanesar] that the stream was discolored, notwithstanding its purity, and people were unable to drink it…the infidels deserted the fort and tried to cross the foaming river...but many of them were slain, taken or drowned... Nearly fifty thousand men were killed."

• In 1013, according to the secretary of Mahmud Gahzni, Tarikh-i-Yamini of Utbi - "The blood of the infidels flowed so copiously [at Thanesar] that the stream was discolored, notwithstanding its purity, and people were unable to drink it…the infidels deserted the fort and tried to cross the foaming river...but many of them were slain, taken or drowned... Nearly fifty thousand men were killed.”

• In 1196 AD the secretary of Lieutenant Qutbuddin Aibak. Hasan Nizami writes "fifty thousand infidels were dispatched to hell by the sword" and "more than twenty thousand slaves, and cattle beyond all calculation fell into the hands of the victors".

• In 1254 according to Badauni, "In two days after leaving Delhi, he arrived in the midst of the territory of Katihar and put to death every male, even those of eight years of age, and bound the women."

• In 1360, Firoz Shah Tughlaq attacked an island on the sea-coast where "nearly 100,000 men of Jajnagar had taken refuge with their women, children, kinsmen and relations". The swordsmen of Islam turned "the island into a basin of blood by the massacre of the unbelievers". A worse fate overtook the Hindu women. Sirat-i-Firuz Shahs records: "Women with babies and pregnant ladies were haltered, manacled, fettered and enchained, and pressed as slaves into service in the house of every soldier."

• In December 1398 AD, Timurlane ordered the execution of at least 100,000 captives before the battle of Delhi, and after the battle those who had not been killed were taken as slaves.

• During Timur's invasion in 1399 he quotes the Quran in his Tuzk-i-Timuri: "O Prophet, make war upon the infidels and unbelievers, and treat them severely." He continues: "My great object in invading Hindustan had been to wage a religious war against the infidel Hindus...[so that] the army of Islam might gain something by plundering the wealth and valuables of the Hindus." To start with he stormed the fort of Kator on the border of kashmir. He ordered his soldiers "to kill all the men, to make prisoners of women and children, and to plunder and lay waste all their property".

Next, he "directed towers to be built on the mountain of the skulls of those obstinate unbelievers". Soon after, he laid siege to Bhatnir defended by Rajputs. They surrendered after some fight, and were pardoned. But Islam did not bind Timur to keep his word given to the "unbelievers". His Tuzk-i-Timuri records: "In a short space of time all the people in the fort were put to the sword, and in the course of one hour the heads of 10,000 infidels were cut off. The sword of Islam was washed in the blood of the infidels, and all the goods and effects, the treasure and the grain which for many a long year had been stored in the fort became the spoil of my soldiers. They set fire to the houses and reduced them to ashes, and they razed the buildings and the fort to the ground."

By now Timur had captured 100,000 Hindus. As he prepared for battle against the Tughlaq army after crossing the Yamuna, his Amirs advised him "that on the great day of battle these 100,000 prisoners could not be left with the baggage, and that it would be entirely opposed to the rules of war to set these idolators and enemies of Islam at liberty". Therefore, "no other course remained but that of making them all food for the sword". Tuzk-i-Timuri continues: "I proclaimed throughout the camp that every man who had infidel prisoners should put them to death, and whoever neglected to do so should himself be executed and his property given to the informer. When this order became known to the ghazis of Islam, they drew their swords and put their prisoners to death."

• Emperor Akbar (considered in Indian textbooks as one of the more tolerant muslim kings) ordered the massacre of about 30,000 (captured) Rajput Hindus on February 24, 1568 AD, after the battle for Chitod. Another reference indicates that this massacre of 30,000 Hindu peasants at Chitod is recorded by Abul Fazl, Akbar's court historian himself. The Afghan historian Khondamir records that during one of the many repeated invasions on the city of Herat in western Afghanistan, 1,500,000 residents perished.

It should also be noted that the vast tract of land generally known as the 'Hindu Kush' between India and Afghanistan was the scene of a massive genocide. In Persian the word 'Kush' means slaughter and since the Afghans were once Hindus before the Muslim invasions, we can surmise that those who did not willingly convert to Islam were slaughtered.

I have only touched upon a few instances of the innumerable Islamic atrocities in India committed during the Moghul period; to document them all would prove too exhaustive. However, it would not be an exaggeration to say that this calculated slaughter of millions of innocent Hindu men, women and children exceeds by far any massacre perpetrated by the Nazis during World War Two.

According to Prof. K.S. Lal, the author of the Growth of Muslim population in India, the Hindu population decreased by about 80 million between 1000 AD, the year Mahmud Ghazni invaded India and 1525 AD, a year before the battle of Panipat.

One can safely add another 20 million Hindus to this list to account for the number that were killed during the Mughal rule or the rule of the Muslim rulers in the Deccan plateau. By all known accounts of world history, as pointed out by Koenard Elst in his book the Negationism in India, destruction of about 100 million hindus is perhaps the biggest holocaust in the whole world history.

There is hardly any news coming out of there . The MSM, as if it didn't exist, ignores it.

And the Indian government doesn't seem to care, either.

A while ago I read some article by Amnesia Intentional decrying the plight of these poor Muslims who are 'kicked out, oppressed... and made homeless.. "

Sounds too familiar, doesn't it...

You guessed right. I am a Kashmiri Pandit. For those who would like to know a bit more about how our community has been hounded out of Kashmir by the jehadists I suggest the following link:

Upon my word of honour. I know a thing or two about India. My former university teacher was an expert on Assamese matters. And yet I never heard of this, though of course I heard plenty about Naga (tribal and Christian) insurgencies in eastern Assam. Yet another little item our dear mass media do not deem worthy of their consideration. Pardon me for feeling rather sick.

B’desh report lays bare influx machination

From Jyoti Lal Choudhury
SILCHAR, July 8: The free run enjoyed by the fundamentalist groups in Bangladesh is attributed to the reining in of prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia by her die-hard coalition partners — Jammat-e-Islam and Islamic Ekya Jote — which have reinforced Islamisation of the country.

The ramification is quite clear. Hindus are being systematically evicted and forced to migrate to India. Muslims are pushed across the border with devious motive.

A report prepared by the American Foreign Relations Committee on human rights violations in Bangladesh speaks of blatant discrimination against Hindus. The fear about eviction or face conversion has increased after Bangladesh was declared an Islamic state. It is better not to speak of job opportunities for non-Muslims. Though minorities constitute around 8% of the total population, their representation in Bangladesh Parliament of 300 plus is limited to 6 only.

How and at what rate Hindus are forced to migrate to India can well be understood from the fact that against the projected population of the country by the Bureau of Statistics at 114 million in 1991, it stood at 111.4 million, according to its decadal census.

The UNO, on the other hand, had predicted the population figure in Bangladesh by 1991 at around 118 million. It is also interesting to note that the statistical year book of 2001 brought out by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics projected a population of 129.6 million by 2000, but the enumerated population in 2001 stood at 123.1 million only.

The decline in Bangladesh population — 7.4 million as projected by the UNO, 3.4 million as projected by the Bureau of Statistics in 1991 and 6.6 million in 2001 — becomes a puzzling proposition considering the fact that Bangladesh has a population growth of 2.7 % as against 2.1% of India. The phenomenon is not inexplicable. This is due to huge the exodus of its population, deliberate and forced, to India.

It is rather funny that between 1991 and 2001, Bangladesh had a population growth rate of 1.1% per annum. It will be interesting to note that the decadal growth rate of Hindu population in Nekhali, Mymensingh, Kushtia and Pabna, once its stronghold, has declined to a bare 6.1%, 6.4%, 3.3% and 5.6% respectively.

A study conducted by the American Academy of Arts and Science, Harvard and Toronto University, shows that of the total inhabitants counted in Assam, one third are immigrants.

While the Chief Minister of Assam, Tarun Gogoi, has nothing to worry, his Marxist counterpart in West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, has learnt to call a spade a spade and admitted, "Bangladeshi immigrants are changing the entire demography of certain parts of West Bengal. In many places, there are more Bangladeshi settlers than Indians." Among them are groups which spread the message of Muslim fundamentalism, he said while inaugurating a BSF seminar in Kolkata recently.

A report prepared by the director of census operations, West Bengal, reveals that the religious minority has outnumbered the majority community in Murshidabad, Malda and North Dinajpur adjoining Bangladesh. In Assam, Dhubri, Barpeta, Goalpara, Nagaon, Karimganj and Hailakandi districts have been dominated by the minority community. The Centre for Research in Indo-Bangladesh Relations points out that the growth rate of the minority community between 1981 and 1991 in West Bengal has been nearly 35% while the Muslims in Bangladesh recorded a 25% growth in the corresponding area.

This wide difference in growth rates between the two countries, the CRIBR says, can only be explained by illegal immigrants from across the border. Assam remains most vulnerable to this unhindered flow of population from Bangladesh. But then oratory and rhetoric must also continue to check it.

Systematic eviction of Hindus under way
Excerpts from Bangladesh: An Introduction

The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics conducted the Third decennial population census in the country on March 12 to 15, 1991. The population of the country stood at 111.4 million in 1991. The percentage of urban population was 20.1 while that of rural 79.9. The intercensal growth rate of population estimated by using adjusted population of 1991 census was 2.1 per annum. Assuming medium variant of declining fertility and mortality the country is expected to reach a population of 129.6 million by 2000 A.D. The country-wide intensive family planning measure is aimed at reducing the growth rate. The density of population was approximately 647 per sq.km in 1981. It has increased to 755 per sq.km in 1991. The sex ratio of the population 106 males per 100 females.
