A Saudi exile facing calls for his deportation from Britain has closed parts of his controversial website.Dr Muhammed al-Massari's site has shown images of suicide bombings in Israel and Iraq in the past, as well as messages from supporters of al-Qaeda.
He said the decision to shut down was his own, but that the site was a victim of the murder of freedom of expression.
The "murder" of freedom of expression, eh? Calling for the demise of Britain as it is presently constituted and its subjugation under Islamic law is to be protected as freedom of expression? Have Western societies no right to protect themselves from the spread of such notions?
The home secretary recently set out the grounds on which those promoting terrorism can be excluded from the UK.Dr al-Massari, 58, is thought to be one of a number of people being looked at as part of the government's drive to deport those it says glorify or promote terrorism.
Tory homeland security spokesman Patrick Mercer said Dr al-Massari was "a prime candidate for deportation".
He said: "I welcome the fact that al-Massari has taken down his despicable videos. It's important that we clamp down on extremism of this kind."
Last week he called for the al-Tajdeed radio station associated with Dr al-Massari's website to be shut down.
He said it was "desperately demoralising" for UK troops in Iraq to hear broadcasts encouraging attacks on coalition soldiers.
It should make no difference to his fate. Force him out.
Oh, the "murder of freedom of expression"! He must be thankful that the United Kingdom allowed him to trespass into its territory and preach his venomous sentiments for all these years in the first place.
Also note that it wasn't the UK authorities who shut down his website, but rather himself. It appears they still don't have guts to take firm action against the Islamofascist preachers in their own private main.
When Innovative Minds, KavkazCenter, and dozens other pro-terrorist websites get shut down, then we'll talk about Europe actually doing something to combat one of History's greatest threats to its existence.

Al-Massari is shutting down his website because he really believes he could be deported back to his Islamic homeland. Shutting down the website should make no difference, he preached hate and sedition and should be thrown out of the UK.
Why do these people dread to return to their homeland? If islam is so desirable, what is their fear? Why would they want to turn our countries into the same kind of place they want to leave so much?

Why not? It's been happening for decades. It's not Muslim stupidity; they've cleverly capitalized on the self-hating multicultural crowd's stupidity. When said death threats and murders take place, they know the left will apologize for them, and blame the USA and Israel.
The reality here in the UK is that these people are allowed more expression of free speech than ordinary
indigenous citizens.

In Glasgow the main residential areas where Muslims live are given a wide berth by the Police who are afraid of being labelled racist by the local activists. To an extent that the local muslim youths
openly deal drugs and stolen goods in the surrounding streets. Visit the local post office and you can watch them drive up in their fancy cars and collect their Social security before driving around the corner and opening shops.

Family's care plight as race hate parents jailed Aug 17 2005

THREE children face being taken into care after their parents were jailed for stirring up racial hatred.
Jeremy and Jacqueline Oakley both posted messages on a far Right wing website.
A judge jailed them, despite a plea by a barrister to spare Mrs Oakley for the sake of their three children, two aged 14 and one 15.
Sentencing Oakley to 18 months' imprisonment and his wife to nine months Judge Ian Dobkin said: "I'm punishing you for what you did, not what you think.
"The offence is the way you expressed your opinions on the internet.
"When these opinions leave the privacy of you and your home and are propagated elsewhere, the evil this kind of offence could lead to becomes more real as time goes on. There is very strong public disquiet about such conduct and opinions."
Judge Dobkin sentenced Jeremy Oakley first and he was taken to the cells before his wife was sentenced.
She stood staring in the dock after the judge passed sentence, as if she did not take in she was going to jail.
She then started to cry and said: "What about my kids? There's no-one to look after them. What are my kids going to do?"
In the end she had to be led away by a dock officer.
Back in prehistoric times, when I was in the service, I did intel-intercept. One of the textbook procedures was to change frequencies of all members of a net on a regular basis, under the assumption that "we" were always monitoring, and moving helped maintain security. If weather caused one freq to be unusable, there were coded refs for alternate freqs. Re-establishing the locations of the members of the net and figuring out the alternate freqs was just business as usual for us. Operators who had any time on a mission could usually retrieve all the new locations within one morning, or at most one contact cycle of the outstations.
I would bet my paycheck that even before this clown dropped his site, the new one was up and running, maybe obscured by some smoke and mirrors, but there for the faithful all the same.
Just keep looking, you'll find it, as we used to say. By the way, freq changes were diseminated(by the badguys) by landline or courier, so everyone was ready even before the changes were made. I'm sure the faithful already know where to look for jihad redux.
