Security experts today issued a warning after detecting a malicious Trojan horse which tries to interrupt the surfing of adult websites by displaying messages from the Koran.The Yusufali-A Trojan monitors users' surfing habits by examining the title bar of the active window.
If the Trojan finds a key word such as 'teen', 'xx', 'sex' or 'penis', it minimises the window so that the user cannot see its content and displays a message from the Koran instead.
The message, which is partly written in Arabic, contains the following English text: "Yusufali: Know, therefore, that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for they fault, and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes."
Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, said: "Unlike other malware, it appears that this Trojan isn't trying to steal money or confidential information, but acts as a moral guardian instead, blocking the viewing of websites it determines as unsavoury.

On a serious note and OT. Our governments keep telling us that nothing can be done to police the internet for child abuse and child porn. This shows that the capability does exist, if there is the will to do something.
Of course to many Moslems what I call child porn they call holy matrimony.

Hugh, you hit on a topic which has been close to my thinking for sometime, since the jihadists are employing the power of the web against us.
Why are the sites they use to promote their filth allowed to remain up? We may gave the world the internet, we also gave it the DDOS attack, and if the CIA/MI5/MI6 are unable to organise something so simple, given all of that government owned hardware, they should hang their heads in shame. The instant they pop up, they should be attacked and brought down, cut their lines of virtual communication.

C'mon Granny i'm 16 (soon to b 17).
Most trojan infections occur from viewing porn sites. A particular trojan called CWS which spread through porno sites is so widespread that it is thought to have affected 20% of world's compters atleast once.
BTW Granny i've got no time or love for prono, mindya. I got my A Levels this year.

DDOS attack is pretty simple. All you need to do is flood the site with data packets. You dont need MI5 for it. Coupla kids with loads of free time can do the job for you.

Btw on one of the password protect Islamic forums i had access to, Islamonazis were discussing feasibility of DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks on anti-Jihad websites. I do hope JW uses a secure server which can withstand huge amounts of bandwith.
