How difficult can it be to learn what is in the canonical texts, and what every Muslim, every ex-Muslim, every Western scholar of Islam who is not one of the latter-day army of apologists (for these scholars, read "The Legacy of Jihad," a compilation, by Andrew Bostom, of such now-overlooked scholarship from the Golden Age of Western scholarship on Islam), knows this to be true. Why can't the American government learn about this -- or is it simply too timid, and too unimaginative, to know what to do once that information is taken in, and not knowing what to do, not wishing to show that it has no idea what to do (and there is so much that could be done), prefers to construct its own reality, as it is also doing in Iraq, rather than face reality.

Constructing, rather than facing, reality is something we all do, but while it may sometimes be humanly understandable, in our rulers, given the civilizational stakes, it is inadmissible.

No more aid, no more jizyah, to the "Palestinians" or for that matter any other Muslims. This year Saudi Arabia alone will take in nearly $90 billion more than it did last year -- can't it spare a dime or two for its Muslim brothers in "Palestine" and Egypt and elsewhere? Of course it can. Let the Muslism go hat in hand to other Muslims. It will be an instructive exercise, and one that can only lead to good things for Infidels.

Stop the Jizyah. Count us out.

I am concerned about the near future, when tight oil supplies bring about very high prices, probably $200 a barrel is not unreasonable before people start to conserve in earnest. How much MORE will the Saudis and other Islamic nations spend to spread the faith? The poisoning of the minds of the young generation will intensify, both in the Muslim world and in the west. The media campaign to obscure the nature of Islam will become more savvy. We can only hope, incredibly, for more terror attacks. Good thing that Jihad is decentralized, or a ceasefire for a few decades might prove fatal for the defenses of the west.
