LONDON: A radical Islamic cleric who was banned from Britain in the wake of the July 7 London bombings on Wednesday described the political response to the attacks as "evil," and urged British Muslims to follow his example by leaving the country.Omar Bakri Mohammad, who was born in Syria but lived in Britain for 20 years and had been allowed to live indefinitely without being granted a passport, left for Beirut in August....
Bakri, who praised the September 11 hijackers in the United States in 2001 as "magnificent," prompted outrage after the July 7 bombings when he said he would never tip off police if he knew a Muslim was about to carry out an attack....
He said he left Britain because of the government's response to July 7, and to the failed repeat bombings a fortnight later, which has seen a crackdown on Islamic extremism.
"I left with the intention that I did not want to come back, because of the evil ideology and evil policy adopted by the British government," Bakri said.
Before this response to the bombings, Muslims in Britain were "living in harmony," Bakri said. "I was living in the U.K. because I really loved the country, which was really my second home, and I had no problem with the culture.
"However, after the bombings of July 7, I think the British government adopted a policy to cover up their own failure to find who was behind the bombing, to start to accuse the so-called extremists. Unfortunately some people bought that from them."
Britain's Muslim population should consider following his lead, Bakri said.
"Myself, personally, I do not see any reason to stay in the U.K. after the new laws of terrorism," he said. "I think the Muslim community can no longer live in peace in the U.K. It is better for them to think to leave."
Do they require any assistance in packing ?

BEIRUT: Outspoken Islamist cleric Omar Bakri Mohammad, who faces possible charges of treason in his home country of Britain, said Tuesday he intends to return to London from a holiday in Lebanon, if the British authorities allow him. Speaking to BBC radio a day after his deputy revealed he had left Britain a month after the London bombings of July 7, the Syrian-born Bakri said he came to Lebanon of his own free will to visit relatives.
He said: "I am going to return in four weeks unless the government says we are not welcome, because my family is in the United Kingdom."
The poor boy just can't remember what lies he has told.
I noticed he's now forgotten to limp and his walking stick has disappeared on the TV footage from Lebanon. After his benefits were cut off in 1997, thanks to a Tory MP, he suddenly became "disabled." As Muslims are the biggest benefit claimants in Britain (that's official as of yesterday from the Government's own think tank The Institute for Public Policy Research) I doubt whether they'll be packing their bags in a hurry to rush back to the luxurious paradises of Somalia or Bangladesh or those well known safe havens Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran.
Here's an exact breakdown of the figures - all official.
Muslims constitute 3% of the UK population but are three times more likely to be unemployed than anyone else. They have the lowest employment at 38% and the highest economic inactivity at 52%. At 17% they represent the largest faith group who have never worked or are long-term unemployed. Muslim women have an unemployment/economically inactive rate of 68%.
So you can see why they won't be following Bakri's advice.
I hope he inspires many to leave, but I'm not holding my breath. I would be in favour of using taxpayers' money to pay them to leave, and help them on their way! In this way we would be able to spare ourselves many deaths in years to come: deaths from civil war, which eventually is bound to happen; and deaths from jihadist activities, which will never relent until they Islamise the West.
If the Brits didn't make it so darned hard to get explosives maybe the Muslim unemployment rate wouldn't be so low. There certianly wouldn't be many asking for extensions...

I find Bakri's call very perplexing.
Now it seems to me, and probably many on this forum, that the islamisation of Britain is going far better then any islamist could have anticipated. Yet here is Bakri, who I suppose has a hand on the pulse of British islam, encouraging muslims to get out of Britain. So what gives?
Only two reasons come to mind
1. He believes that the islamist project in Britain is bound to fail, and more inverstment is a waste of time.
2. He is fearful that muslims in Britain, particularly the young, are getting ready to abandon islam. At the moment they are sitting on the fence, but a slight shove one way or other, could spell disaster for the ummah, both here and worldwide. He must have noted the disastrous effects on the reputation of islam, in the aftermath of the London massacre of innocents.

Didn't Bakri previously state that Muslims should not attack Britain because they had a covenant that allowed them to live there in peace? If he is now saying that the convenant no longer exists, then he is removing the legal barrier to jihad against the UK by British Muslims. I guess we're about to find out if Al-Muhajiroun really is the second largest Muslim group in Britain.

Muslims leave Britain? Is that a threat or a promise?
In fact they'll stay put as they have it too easy.
Clamping down on welfare benefits is one obvious thing to do. If Muslims are working long hours at menial jobs they will be too knackered to plot jihad. And if they have to pay for their vast brood of children themselves they may consider not having so many. Possibly.

The first thing the UK Government should do is to tighten up all the rules and regulations of Muslims entering Britain if they are to survive as a nation.
Never give a Muslim a position of trust as his loyalty is to Islam and not the UK Kafir government.
Some countries already do that without much fanfare. . All sensitive positions such as Immgration officers, customs officers, Officers who approve benefits,welfare, housing and the dole should never be entrusted to Muslims, as they approve all benefits for their own kind.
This is not discrimination; as no Islamic government would give a Christian or other non-muslim any of these sensitive positions. We need to reciprocate. Get rid of all this political correctness.
Another matter of importance, the UK governmeent should look into the Muslim employees in the UK Embassies in foreign countries, who have access to consular affairs and curtail their power or remove them where they have the power to interview and grant entry visas to the UK, They are known to approve a visa to any muslim who applies, so that they could gain entry to the UK.
Muslims are a 5th column in the UK. Their loyalty lies elsewhere - just look at what happend on 7/7 and the Muslim reaction - denial.
All Muslim asylum seekers should be sent back to the country of origin as many have committed acts of terror in their own countries and never allow any one who arrives on false papers to stay in the UK, the likes of Bakri & Abu Katada whould never have entrenched them selves here if that was the practice. They all land here on false documents.
