Hamas pledges end to Gaza rockets

...Or maybe it is merely another act of deceit, designed to present Israel, with its justified targeted assassinations, as a barbaric agressor before the 'progressive World'. I think the Palestinian Islamofascists are growing desperate to attract the world's sympathy, especially after Israel's unilateral pullout gave a big boost to its image.

I have thought that of all the Israeli "responses" to terrorist attacks, that targeted assassinations are the most most effective. The fact that Hamas already appears to be backing down in response appears to validate the targeted assasination strategy. The least effective response I remember was when then PM Ehud Barak, in response to the murder to two Israeli soldiers, bombed an empty Pali headquarters building.

They're lying, and Israel should continue their path of retaliatory airstrikes, then move in and drive these animals into the sea.

The current (surviving) Hamas leadership has decided that they can put off receiving their 72 virgins. Funny how they're happy to SEND martyrs to meet Allah, but not to meet him in person!

I think the Paleos call for these truces whenever they are losing. Perhaps the martyrs are arriving so quickly in heaven that Allah has required them to wait so he can restock heaven with the needed virgins. Actually, the haddith that says you are guaranteed no less than 72 virgins also guarantees you no less than 80,000 sevants. Everybody makes much of the martyr's virgins. I suppose however, the real backlog in heaven is on getting 80,000 good servants.

The precision of these strikes bespeaks the accuracy of Israeli intelligence, which in turn, I suppose, is evidence that Hamas has many enemies among the "palestinean" people. I would guess there are many in Abbas' own kleptocracy that would happily give some these psychopaths up to the IDF. They are hindering what Hugh referred to as the "slow jihad"

One is SHOCKED. I tell you SHOCKED, that adherents to the religion of peace would agree to temporarily agree to cease killing Jews.

Does this mean that in the sewar of Gazastan by the Sea they will turn their swords into plowshares and turn to "peaceful" pursuits ? Wait, aren't 70% of them on welfare in festering and hate perpetuating camps supported by the UN ?

This UN funding haws to be one of the stupidest miguided pursuits of the West and Europe.

It's just another strategy. Hamas stops and Islamic Jihad picks up where they left off. It will never end as long as they are alive.

Hey Dave – Not to worry ‘ol chap, MO thought of everything. All he had to do was entice those little jihadis to get back to earth lickedy-split so as to reduce the heavenly demand for virgins/servants. Clever, eh?

Volume 4, Book 52, Number 53: - The Prophet said, "Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah's Cause)."

This statement has nothing to do with a sudden change in ultimate goals. It may be temporary or long-latsing, it may be feigned or real. Who cares? The duty remains to remove any Infidel sovereign-state anywhere, but of course most immediately those that are on land (the people involved hardly matter) that was once ruled by Muslims. Thus Israel, Spain (al-Andaluz), Kashmir, Sicily, the Ottoman-ruled parts of eastern and central Europe, much of India (such as the former state of Hyderabad), simply must revert to Muslim control as soon as possible, and if, with the large Muslim presence in Western Europe, parts of it can be seized by Muslims sooner rather than later, by sheer demographic conquest, so much the better.

This statement means only that for now, for tactical reasons, and invoking the doctrine of dire necessity or "darura," Hamas chooses not to lob rockets. In the endless Jihad, this is a blip. It means nothing. and it can be nothing. Still, it may temporarily hearten the Israelis. Will it hearten them to be more and not less relentless, or will it instead cause them to think -- we gave up in Gaza, let's do the same in the West Bank, and the results will be equally wonderful.

The Israelis have provent themselves, in their diplomacy and general understanding of Arab opposition to them (what should be called the Lesser Jihad), to be geniuses in reverse. No other group of Infidels should be as trusting, as endlessly gullible, as confused, as again and again many Israelis have shown themselves to be. Not a model to emulate, but to avoid. It would be wonderful if a sufficient number of Israelis bothered to study Islam, learned once and for all the bleak truth, and began, far more cleverly, to make their case, and settle in for a long war that cannot conceivably have a "two-state solution," or any "solution" except insofar as the forces of Islam can be demoralized and divided, and changes be prompted, far in the future, from within Islam.

Pre-emptive surrender, based on ignorance of Islam, will not do. Not for Israel or any other Infidel country.

The combination of the Isreali security fence and the target killings of Hamas leaders effectively ended the most recent Palestinian intifada.I've noticed that Islamic leaders tend to loose their stomach for fighting when their own lives or the lives of their families are put at risk.Isreal should show no mercy and should press on and eliminate more Hamas leaders. Now that Gaza is an independent state Isreal has every right to respond with whatever means are necessary to acts of aggression from that state.

Of course, together with the recent conversion to Islam of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Palestinians are busy rewriting the modern history of the city too. The latest is the setting up of two trailers on the ancient Jewish cemetery. The buildings are said to be the fore-runner of a school. What better way to deny Jewish connection? Can you imagine the furore when Jews object to an Arab school? And the Jewish cemetery will, of course, be relegated by the media to be a "claim".

Yesterday I watched TF1 to see the news on Israel, now we have a game spotting the pallywood or propoganda on MSM, and laughing at it.

The words were not too bad, there was a mention of the missiles fired into Israel, (not how many) and no mention of the 5 injured Israeli's, but then it showed the school and then a picture of an injured 3 year old girl with burns for about 2 seconds, followed by pictures of Israel artillary. So what does that say, the military machine of Israel using its weapons to injure a three year old girl, pah...

We had a bet that the girl was most probably the victim of a domestic accident where Fatima tripped over her burka and dropped boiling mint tea all over her and was photographed by Mr Pallywood and co from France 2.

We also watched France 2 a little earlier, this one showed Palestinian women cowering in a bomb shelter, maybe they were sheltering from a Hamas military parade, that is what my money was on.

Of course they pledge them to end.... up in Israeli territory.

It's certainly not too late for Condi Rice and the State Department to step in an award the victory to Hamas. They've done it before and no doubt will do it again. Besides, according to the State Department, Israel must not interfere with the Palestinian political process and what's to stop the Palestinians from claiming that all their operatives are thus potential political leaders?

I think at the end of the day, the Israelis knew exactly what they were getting into, what they were likely going to get in return and are doing two things: Protecting Israels "status" as a Jewish state by jettisoning the densely populated Gaza strip and giving the world what it claims to want -- a Palestinian state, with all it implies. Gaza will go to the dogs, proving Hamas & Co. ill-intent and the P.A. an inept kleptocracy. Without legitimate bargaining partners, Sharon will have shortened his defensive lines and removed people from an exposed position. He can now hunker down and ignore the Palestinians with near impunity.

Hamas also must be looking rather stupid, having blown up a number of Palestinians parading bombs around in the streets of Gaza and failing to pin the blame on the Israelis.

At the end, he refers to a long speech Arafat gave on April 22/02, over his cellphone from his bombed out compound, broadcast via a PLO radio station located in Lebanon wherein he vented his spleen at the Arab world that failed to rush to his aid when the Israelis punished him for the violence he orchestrated after Sharon's visit to Temple Mount. You certainly have his (Muslim Brotherhood) motivations pegged with your Lesser Jihad (Israel)/Greater Jihad (the World), because Yasser himself asked why they didn't see that "a 'Palestinian entity' would be the most effective launching pad for the great final jihad."
