Exact details of the latest incidents are still clear, but it is thought a total of three people died and more than 20 were injured.In the resort town of Sungai Kolok, on the Malaysian border, there were a series of explosions late on Wednesday.
The bomb blasts, at a karaoke bar and two hotels, were triggered by mobile phone according to local police.
Bombs were also set off in Pattani province, damaging a bridge, and police in nearby Narathiwat province were targeted as they escorted a group of teachers to school.
There have been further reports of attacks in Narathiwat on Thursday, when a bomb hit a busy downtown area.
It is all because Israel is oppressing the Palestinians and because Bush invaded Iraq to take its oil.
If they hadn't done that, this would not have happened.
Hey come on guys, be fair. This could easily be the work of those militant Buddhists....

The BBC article says 130 muslims fled to Malaysia after Thai forces killed their village headman. I can just hear the Malaysian borderguards;
No, no, dumbass! YOU'RE not supposed to flee! You're supposed to make THEM flee! Now get back there and MAKE THEM FLEE! Sheesh! How the hell are we supposed to do jihad with this bunch of babies?
Also, when I clicked on the BBC story, the photo shows a muslim girl in a scarf and McDonalds t-shirt. Must drive the hardasses crazy. Yo, Mustafa, you want fries with that?

It begins:

Ah yes, it's all due to regressive social policies. But further on, we learn:
Increasingly estranged from the Bangkok government, Muslim separatists began an insurgency in the 1970s.
And that "insurgency" has been followed with:
... frequent incidents in which symbols of authority - including police officers, teachers and Buddhist monks - have been targeted by Muslim gunmen.
Because as we all know, Buddhist monks are notorious human rights violators and oppressing Muslims the world over.
And it wouldn't be the BBC if there wasn't some way of exonerating the jihadists:
But one thing seems certain. If police and security personnel continue to act with such heavy-handed methods, the animosity between them and the Muslim inhabitants of southern Thailand is only likely to increase.
When I read articles like the July BBC article referenced above or hear similar stories on news broadcasts in the main stream media (MSM), my thoughts are invariably:
BBC = MSM = FOOLS
Not very Christ-like, I know. Nonetheless, it's true.
Why the karaoke bar? Of course because it is the place where the biggest of the sins (gasp) — the singing — is being committed on a daily basis. Well, and, of course, such a bar is the most likely place for the infidels to attend.
