Look Muhammad in the eye at Fjordman's superb blog:
Danish author Kåre Bluitgen had difficulties in getting artists to illustrate his book about Muhammad due to fear of reprisals from Islamic extremists. Jyllandsposten, Denmark's largest newspaper, responded by asking 40 illustrators to make drawings of Muhammad, and published twelve in this Saturday's edition.
At last, some balls.
Do check out the blog because the picture is pretty funny.
Looks like a little more good old fashioned " harsh Islamic punishment" is required for this guy.
Let the stoning begin.
That guy Westergaard must have balls the size of footballs, right enough.
Do you think he'd let us print up posters with the image?
"...drawing pictures of humans, animals and all those things that have a soul in them is a great sin and is liable to heavy punishment."
That is a prohibition which applies only to Muslims and dhimmis under Muslim domination.
If Muslims complain, they should be reminded that people living in free societies are under no obligation to comply with Muslim teachings or to even respect them.
Indeed, drawings of the 'Pedophile Prince' would look fine on doormats.
Actually, this is not an original idea. I believe I recall seeing some examples from Arab/Muslim cartoonists post the London bombings, though the character was not necessarily intended to be Mohammed, just the prototypical suicide bomber.

Good site as well. I noted that despite the hard work by the blogger, there are no comments. This can be disheartening. Put in a few comments. We need to encourage all bloggers on our wavelength.
Also a near comprehensive (it is hard to keep up), list of the victims of Jihad

Thanks for the information. Yes we do go to Italy and Rome in particular, quite often. I really love the place, and what with Ryan Air, Easy Jet etal, it is really quite inexpensive.
My fear of islam, my anger at having to face this bs in the 21st century, when, i thought, we had, in much of the world, payed a huge price but come a long way, allowed me to be pleased at that sad cartoon, actually more pleased at the fact that someone was brave enough to 'publish' it, than the cartoon itself.

Hi DP111
If you do come across it on your next trip let me know (OT on an appropriate thread, no one will mind, it's Christian heritage after all). The problem after so many years if how accurate is my memory? And how accurate was the guide in the first place (our font is older than your font, na na ni na na!)?
PCRS cites the law: "...drawing pictures of humans, animals and all those things that have a soul in them is a great sin and is liable to heavy punishment."
Well, there you have it. Any lawyer can see the loophole. Big Mo didn't have a soul, so drawing pictures of him does not fall within the scope of the statutory prohibition.
Of course, that's not to say that some deranged individual (i.e., a true believer) won't behave like a KKK knight and take the law into his own hands.
Can anyone provide the other 11 pics, or links to them?
