Bali Bombings Leave 19 Dead, 51 Injured

Has anyone seen Abu Bakar Bashir lately? From AP, with thanks to the Constantinpolitan Irredentist:

BALI, Indonesia - Bombs exploded almost simultaneously Saturday in two tourist areas of the Indonesian resort island of Bali, killing at least 19 people and wounding 51 others, police and hospital officials said.

The victims included at least two Americans.

The blasts at Jimbaran beach and a bustling outdoor shopping center in downtown Kuta "were clearly the work of terrorists," police Maj. Gen. Ansyaad Mbai, a top Indonesian anti-terrorism official, told The Associated Press.

Here we go again. Wherever there are Muslim, all Islam breaks out. Beachcombers should be aware that all beach resorts in Thailand are probably future targets. The same is true for Goa, India. Am I forgetting any sites?

And I walked past this resturant 5 hours ago.

Am I forgetting any sites?
Anywhere that happy, joyous people congregate is a target.
Just thinking of being under the control of islam makes me very depressed. What a horrible religion.

These are not 'terrorists', these are 'jihadists', 'mujahediin', warriors for Allah; and this is not 'terrorism', an idea that evokes the anomolous, the unusual, the shocking; this is jihad, and it will never stop, never. It is an eternal struggle against people, values, ideas, organizations, states that oppose Islam. Beer drinking, fornicating Bali tourists fit the bill and are simply too close to the danger zone.

But, with the exception of an Internet site like this one, no one will report the context of this massacre and explain the reasons why this mass murder, and others, should be excepted given the nature of this conflict.

A pious Muslim posted this question on JW recently: "Is what you are doing worth an eternity in Hell the heat of 70 times that of the heat of sun."

Ro, honey, is this another reason we should accept Islam? Christians say "Holy, holy, holy!" Do Muslims want to replace that with "Slaughter, slaughter, slaughter!" ?

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6.23

Only a false prophet and pride keeps you away from God. It is easy to identify Lucifer. He is the one telling you that evil is good.

Ah.. shiva our man from Bali, i've never had a chance to meet an Agamma Dharmi. I've always wondered whether Indonesian Hindus are treated with tolerence and equality, perhaps you culd shed some light on that.

From Stockwell to Bali - it's a long way. I'm glad you were not nearby.
I'm just so sorry for the souls who were.

It would seem that Indonesia needs to stop supporting Israel and pull its troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

F***** buddhist suicide bombers...

Streatham to Bali : Lucky you're weren't 5 hours late. Please can you tell us anymore?

Sorry everyone else: GrannyWeather Wax say hello on my blog;

How Bomb Blast at Bali related to Thai Separatist Terrorist Group?

We have known that PULO has been long supported by Terror group, Jemaah Islamiyah. The breaking news on Oct 1, 2005 of bomb blasts at Bali Indonesia, has made Thais believe that Mr. Lukman B. Lima, the head of terrorist group name "the Pattani United Liberation Organization (PULO)," must has something to do with this terror acts on Indonesia soil.

Mr. Lukman B. Lima was in Indonesia on Sep 19, 2005 and leaved Indonesia on Sep 23, 2005. He gave the interviews to the news press that Thai Separatist Terrorist will have more supports from Terrorist group from Indonesia.

This means he had contacted with the Jemaah Islamiyah(JI) group 8 days before the bomb blasts. Who planned the bomb in Bali???

This information should be forward to the Indonesia Authorities to investigate this incidents. PULO is not only threat Thailand government, but also the Indonesia government and the World.

Look, it's really very simple. If you don't want drunken, fornicating foreigners in your neighborhood, you go to your local Zoning Commission and tell them to close down the tourist joints that are promoting such behavior. The tourist joints get closed down if they don't comply. This is an effective way of stopping drunken, fornication by foreign tourists without wasting explosives. Of course, you don't get to waste the foreigners either, which isn't as much fun.

Now, what if there are foreigners, say bombers, murderers, kidnappers or hijackers, visiting your neighborhood that you don't want? Well, you just go to your local Zoning Commission and...Hmmm, I haven't quite thought this through.

The molsems don,t have to replace anything, they already have this:-
Tabari VIII:141 “The battle cry of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah that night was: ‘Kill! Kill! Kill!’”

From Stockwell to Bali - it's a long way,but a small world.
Luckily I was on my way to Java and was only in Bali a few hours. But all the same it,s a bir un-nerving.

Vikrant_Camberleykar
I am based in Java, not Bali.
To answer your question. It is not in Indonesia,s interest to have the same type of conflict in Bali like we see in the rest of Indonesia, such as Ambom or Poso. But attacks against tourism is more effective than attacking the hindus directly.

Perhaps its time for the total expulsion of Bali's Muslim population and outright independence for that island. No longer should its Hindu population have to live under Islamic rule from the hate-peddlars of Jakarta, and if Jakarta doesn't stop the terrorists, themn its time for some very stern action, rather than weasel words, as words don't bring the victims of rabid Islamic hatred back to life.

The blasts at Jimbaran beach and a bustling outdoor shopping center in downtown Kuta "were clearly the work of terrorists," police Maj. Gen. Ansyaad Mbai, a top Indonesian anti-terrorism official, told The Associated Press.

That police chief could be right on the money, but were they Buddhist, Christian, Hindu or other?
But seriously, they don't mind wrecking Bali's tourist industry by blowing the heads off a few more infidels, do they Spirit of 1683?

The death toll is now up to 25 and will probably go higher. While we mourn the loss of innocent life in Bali, Muslims around the world rejoice in their slaughter. What was their crime that they were deserving of death? That they did not bow to Mecca or in dhimmitude as slaves, that they said that Jesus is the Son of God, and they acknowledged Isarael as a nation.
John 2:9 "He who says "I know Him (Jesus)" and does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him."
John 2:22-23 "Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesusi is the Christ? He is anti-christ, who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son has not the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also."
Christians took this same kind of abuse before from Muslims for over 400 years before they finally retaliated with the Crusades. Let us hope it will not take us that long again.

Shiva, glad to hear you are OK. For the group's edification, here is a list from the Associated Press of major terrorist attacks in Indonesia since 2000:
_Oct. 1, 2005: Bombs explode almost simultaneously in two tourist areas of the resort island of Bali, killing at least 22 people and wounding dozens.

May 28, 2005: Two bombs explode in a crowded market in the Christian-dominated town of Tentena, killing at least 22 people and wounding 40.

Sept. 9, 2004: A suicide car bomb explodes outside the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, killing 11 people and wounding 200.

Aug. 5, 2003: A car bomb in front of the J.W. Marriott Hotel in central Jakarta, kills 12 people and wounds 150.

Dec. 5, 2002: Bomb explodes outside a McDonald's restaurant on Sulawesi Island, killing three people and injuring 11.

Oct. 12, 2002: Two near simultaneous bombs explode in a nightclub district on Bali just before midnight, killing 202 people, most foreign tourists.

Dec. 25, 2000: Bombs explode at 11 churches across the country on Christmas Eve, killing 19 people and injuring about 100.

Sept. 13, 2000: A car bomb explodes inside the garage of the Jakarta Stock Exchange building, killing 10 people and injuring 16.

Aug. 1, 2000: Bomb kills two people and seriously injures the Philippine ambassador to Indonesia.

Since 911 there have been over 3,000 attacks by Muslims against the world community. It's time the governments started to realize that these are not random attacks by "extremeists" who have "hijacked the religion of peace" but part of a 1400 year old war that is sanctioned by a silent majority of Muslims worldwide and commanded of them by their holy books, the Quran and the Hadith.

From gandalf:

Bali has been bombed ..again.

People have been murdered..again

Our leaders will condemn..again

Our leaders will do nothing..again

Islam will say it is a "religion of peace"..again

Politicians will say "its a small minority"..again

People will protest, not to be heard..again

Muslims will say "they are the victims"..again

Then surely Islam will kill..again

http://uppompeii.blogspot.com/

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono immediately condemned the latest outrage and vowed to hunt down the perpetrators. "These are clearly terrorist attacks because the targets were random and public places," he said.

Then what. Send them to prison for a few years and then early release?

It is interesting to see how many people have been arrested in bali for drugs. The police can find two extasy tabets on an Australian model(Michelle Leslie.)
Makes one think????

It is difficult to understand why tourist would go to Bali. Australian gavernment issued a warning to all australians not to go to Bali.
We (tourist agent) stopped selling tours to Indonesia several years ago feeling that our moral duty is first to make sure our tourists will be safe. It is difficult to feel sorry for someone so stupid to go to Bali.

Shiva:

I have some questions for you here. Please feel free to answer at your convenience, if you care to do so:

Would you agree that the arrests for drugs are nothing more than revenge for Timor, for Australia and the international community to pressure them to imprison Bashir,Ambrosi and Samudra? I am rather disappointed that the Australian Government is letting its people down the way they do. Given that Indonesia is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and the legal system a joke, we should take care of our own and not leave them to the dogs, regardless.

Given that Java was once Hindu/Buddhist (the Borobudur is one of the 7 wonders of the world and without constant funds and efforts from the international community it would have probably gone the same way the Bhamian Buddhas went in Afghanistan) do you have any idea how those ancient cultures were conquered and wiped out?

Finally, with all the 'struggle' (Jihad) going on in Ambon, the Molucca Islands etc. where Christians are being systematically wiped out and the churches burned down, why and how did the Indonesians leave the Balinese so far relatively unmolested?

Thanks for your response!

I listened to an eejit from the Daily Telegraph on BBC News 24 this morning and listened to him using words like terrible, abominable etc, laying it on thick and wheezing as if he'd done 200 situps between each word. Was he describing the Bali 2 atrocity? Not on your life. He was referring to the throwing out of a heckler at the Labour Party Conference four days ago.

With a Press and media like that in the West, the Islamists must be laughing themselves silly, and their confidence of establishing the global caliphate sometime within the next 100 years or so must be soaring with every passing day.

One of the confirmed dead is a 16 year old Australian teenager. Probably a kid enjoying Bali with his family during school holidays. I have two teens, and this really hit me hard. Imagine the guilt you'd suffer if that was your kid. I wouldn't go anywhere near Indonesia. I had decided that after the Oct 2002 bombing. Of course, nowhere is perfectly safe these days, is it? But that place especially not. The place is seething with hatred for non-Muslims. It doesn't matter how much aid we give them, they will always hate us and want to kill us. Sure, the Balinese might be different, but they are under the heel of Islam. They don't call the shots.

On the news they showed tourists returning from Bali, and some said they'd go back again anyway. So it's not the government's fault. The government can't stop people's free movement, no matter how dangerous it is. I just wouldn't want to give Indonesia one cent of my money, out of principle. And the way they target foreigners for drugs, and stick them in disgusting hellhole jails, I don't trust them at all. Do they target their terrorist groups as avidly? Ha!

Yep, just as I thought. The 16 year old was on holidays with his dad and sister. He's dead. His sister and dad seriously injured, with his dad having to be flown to Singapore to get the medical care he needs. Allah Akbar! Another family obliterated.

The youngest victim is a 4 year old Indonesian boy. Allah Akbar! Islam in all its "glory". This is all Islam is about. Bloodshed. But we'll soon be hearing the excuses. I've even heard some say it was a target against Australia because we're in Iraq. Yes, deflect the blame from it should go. Good ones, dhimmis!

Bohemond,

There is a constantly updated list of terrorist acts committed in the name of Islam since 9/11/2001 at the site
www.thereligionofpeace.com.

Here's the link

Condemning this new islamic act and asking for the waking up of western people already. We have to fight islam already. We have to get that they leave islam and we have to kill the radicals. Islam must be forbidden.

sheik yer'mami

I small try and answer a few questions
I can not agree fully about the drug busts in Bali being related to Bashir,Ambrosi and Samudra? or revenge for Timor,as Bali has been pretty tight on drugs for quite a long time.It has more to do with money, and in most cases,if a low profile is kept, then it is possible for an early release after a few years, and a large sum of dollars. As for the recent cases, they have become very much high profile,so the culprits/victims chances of buying themselves out are very slim indeed. My advice to anybody who maybe thinking to bring drug to this hell-hole is dont,if that is not enough warning, then have at least 40-50,000 dollars ready,so as to pay your way out, before it goes to far.If it goes to the courts then the price goes up drastically, and take several years to sort out.The Indonesians have learnt that westerner dont like to see there loved ones facing twenty plus years or more for a few grams of narcotic. This is why westerners face such heavy sentences. As for the Corby case it is no longer a matter of if she done the crime or not,it is about loosing face
You should not be to disappointed that the Australian Government for letting its people down the way they do.People should be aware that Indonesia is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and the legal system a joke. Also people should be aware to the fact that the Balinese are also Indonesians and their friendlyness towards westerners is only skin deep.
To find out about the early history is very difficult,as the change from Hindu/Buddhist has been a very slow process, and it is still going on to-day.The claim that indonesia has the largest muslim population,it must be treated as a myth.About 70% are muslim because it is stamped on there ID Cards, but the only follow Islam for fear of reprisals from the 30%.A lot of the cultures still exist today, but Islam tries to disgiuse it.
The Balinese are being molested just as bad as Ambon, the Molucca Islands etc,but the tactic is not the same.In Ambon, the Molucca Islands Christians are being systematically wiped out and the churches burned down, but what is happening in Bali is related
By crushing the tourist industry is having the same effect.
To-day Indonesia is getting a lot of aid,and I strongly suspect that the Indonesian Goverment is allowing the Jihadis do the dirty work for them,so as the powers in Jakarta dont go miss on all the aid.

Concerning your comment
" And the way they target foreigners for drugs, and stick them in disgusting hellhole jails, I don't trust them at all. Do they target their terrorist groups as avidly? Ha! "
There is very little effort being made to stop explosives coming into Bali. The sniffer dogs are at the International Airport checking for drugs that foreigners may bring in and custums search nearly every bag coming into Bali from international destinations.Yet at the domestic entries, nothing.

More people are die from the influence of islam than from the influence of drugs
