Police have arrested six members of a Pakistani family for hunting down and killing a 19-year-old girl, who had married against the family's wishes.Daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten reported that with two further arrests in the case, five men and one woman were now in remand for the suspected honour killing of Ghazala Abbas, who was shot to death in front of the central station in the western Zealand town of Slagelse on 23 September.
The day before, Abbas had married a 27-year-old Afghan-born man....
Police said the investigation was hampered by the implicated persons' reluctance to talk, but that the last four arrests had led to a breakthrough in the investigation.
Five of the people arrested are Ghazala's close relatives, including her father and her older brother, who was the one that shot her to death and severely injured her husband in front of a large group of witnesses in broad daylight in Slagelse.
The couple was married the day before they were attacked, supposedly without the bride's family's consent.
Daily newspaper BT reported that a network of Pakistani taxi drivers and the woman arrested had helped the brother track his sister down.
These animals do not know the meaning of honor. To atack a woman because she acted independently of her family? Because she dared to think for herself and act like a free person? Dogs like this do not deserve to live in decent civilized Western society. I would be interested in learning how many of the killers were on public assistance. The religion of peace and tolerance has struck again and leaves more victims. Yet no doubt Muslim apologists will try to spin this and hold it up as an example of how Islamic society is superior to that of the West. Pathetic.

[Not] Funny, but I doubt there have been any delegations of outraged Muslims demanding that the Danish government take any measures or offer any assistance in stamping out this horrific practice.
But then isn't Denmark where some senior Muslim cleric proposed the payment of blood money as an alternative to the usual justice system dealing with a murder (or was that Sweden).
These people murdered someone. But they don't consider it murder. Should they be jailed, for life, at taxpayers' expense, and where, in jail, they can more easily conduct Da'wa with the most vulnerable self-selected set of Danes? Would it not be better to force the government of Pakistan to take them back, and jail them at its expense, where their fellow prisoners will be those who are already Muslim, and where the treatment is likely to be much harsher? Already the jails of France, of Scandinavia, of Spain are full of Muslims. They rape and rob for all the usual reasons, and then some -- you see, the Infidels are fair game. Infidels have no right to their "women" or to their "possessions." Everything belongs to Allah, and to the Best of People, the Believers. It is they who will, if nothing is done, naturally and rightfully inherit Europe, and then the world. Why should Muslims have to wait, before helping themselves to whatever they wish? And why, as it this case (where the victim was not an Infidel) should they have to observe the local, temporary, pointless, absurd laws of the Infidels, when a Higher Law, the Holy Law of Islam, and all the attitudes, and atmospherics, that naturally arise out of the tenets of Islam, is available to them? Why should they obey laws that would be bad enough if man-made, or owing their legitimacy to mere men, if those men called themselves Believers, but in Europe, are made by Infidels, and Infidels have only those right which Muslims may temporarily concede to them.
For god's sake, don't expect otherwise. Don't be silly.
Religious, cultural, it makes no difference. That kind of behavior sucks and lowers mankind into nothing but a snarling animal.
These people are beyond redemption and will remain dangerous to themselves and others untill Allah puts a stop to it. But he wont...or at least so far he's been dragging his feet. Allah has had 1400 years or more to stop honor killings and make Islam a real ROP, but what has he done??? Nothing. I'm beginning to think Allah likes this kind of stuff. Certainly his devotee's believe he likes it, and he honors them for carrying out his dictates. If Allah had no fondness for murder, mayhem, blood and gore, why did he predestine so much of it? Why does he maintain an army of bloodthirsty perverts waiting for their chance at bloodletting?
Well maybe Allah knows best, but I think he needs to get his priorities straight...or maybe they are...
Despicable. This is where multiculturism is going. You have the main culture and you have another subculture. I hope they jail the whole lot of them for life.

Probably for the same reason King Tolerance doesn't show up on this thread, Vikrant. After all, this isn't the "true Islam", it's just an aberration and many moderate Muslims are against honour murders. Nevermind that we see stories like this almost every week (the ones that are reported atleast), from Jordan to Pakistan to Britain, and there is nothing these moderate scholars or imams do to protect these poor women. Why should the resident trolls care? "Most Muslims practice their religion peacefully", that is what we are told, just ask the women (the ones that are alive) and you'll realize the veracity of this statement.
Every legal thinker from Euripides to Hobbes to Rousseau understands that if I give up my individual right to conduct myself according to my own lights I do so for the sake of my own protection of the law of every man against every man, of me against you, and us against them. It's a social thing. We have laws postive rather than laws natural. We think and use precedent and figure things out as we fgo along to improve and adapt to changes, and we agree and ovbey these communal laws for the sake of everyone, meaning me and you. But if we all agree to follow the law and then find that we've agreed to a bargain that includes us but not those guys because they're exceptions to our general rules, that they're excepted for reasons of culture, custom, or tradition, then what kind of bargain have we made?
It's a bargain that prevails over most of the world's history and space. It's primitive fascism. It's the law of exceptionalism and cult, of nativism and privilege, of entitlement and divine rule of kings. If the law only applies to me and not to them, then the bargain is void, according to me.
If I give up my rights to murder at random, and if I do so under the agreement that you too will give up your right to murder me, then we must believe that all people will have to restrain their urges to commit murder, and that the state of law will protect us from each other equally and universally-- without exception. And then we find that there is an exception, a way out for those who don't accept our man-made laws even though they choose to live among us. They, having a different set of beliefs, don't have to abey the laws because they are "Other." Except that so am I, and so are you. And the social contract is null and void if that's the case, and it's back to every man against every man, and God against all.
But so far, and the so far is shortening daily, it's still within our power to stop the priveilege and exceptionalism in law. We can still vote for a better enforcement of our previously agreed upon social contract. If the majority of our citizens refuse to act on that, if they allow for discriminaltion and exceptionalism in law, then it's up to us to leave our lands for the land of legality. But where the Hell is that? Where do we go when our own nations turn against us? What do we do when the law is illegitimate?
A few weeks back a young girl about the same age as me, 24 just dissapeared. She worked along side her mother and father in the local green grocer just across the road from my mums house.
She was a pretty girl, slightly plump, friendly rosy cheeks and always had a big smile on her face as she served up fruit & veg.
On inquiry as to what happened to her, my mum found out she had been stabbed a total of 48 times, in the spine. She had met a young Sikh boy. They found out and that was thier responce.
I tried not to cry. i hardly knew her. Just her smiley face. I asked my mum why people were still going in the grocers and buying things. She explained that people are to scared to say what they really think or feel. So i asked why don`t other muslims simply boycott the shop.
The parents told the police their son who was 16 did it, thinking that as a minor he would get a lesser sentence.
The next thing i knew, the shop had been closed down while a forensic investigation took place.
In the meantime was their an out cry.....simply No.
Actually a politician here suggested that Denmark makes a business arrangement with Russia whereby Russia will put the mahommedan criminals from Denmark into Russian jails. That to be against Danish payment - which will be but a tiny fraction of what it costs to keep a mohammedan in a Danish jail today.
Both Russians and Danes would greatly benefit from the arrangement.
As much as I like the idea I thought it would be wiser to send these mohammedans to Egyptian, or Pakistaki, or whatever, moslem jails. Not against Danish payment, but against Danish threat of witholding millions of dollars of alms we give these wretched countries, if they refuse to cooperate.
Honour killing my arse! Lets call this what really it is, a horrible, pre-meditated, senseless MURDER of the worst kind of a defenseless innocent woman, more, one from ones own family. What sort of animals would do this except Muslims? There is no hue and cry from the Mullahs or any Muslims demonstrating against this murder of an innocent girl. (she was not even marrying a non-Muslim).
But get a false report in the news that a quran is flushed and the whole world of these Muslim animals erupt, go on a rampage, killing, burning, destroying anything in their way. These Islamic animals should all be deported to the hell holes they came from, so that we dont have to deal with scum. There are already too many of them over in Europe. Yes call me whatever - Islamaphobe
Why would you want to deport the savages to the countries that, at the least, tacitly accept these practices; they would be released two weeks after arriving.
Better that they be put to death by hanging, an act the muslims greatly fear. Burning them at the stake would be far better but I know that idea would get zero support...but a guy can dream cant he?
The Muslim male and his Allah given right to be superior to all is one of the most disturbing elements of Islam. Inequality, sanctioned by the Qur'an and strictly enforced by true believers, can only bring sorrow to those less equal. Societal oppression is a foregone conclusion. Systemic theofascism would be a good pathological descriptive for Islam, but one doesn't need a twenty dollar word for a bankrupt belief. I prefer cult.
“Honor” murder is the kind of thing that comes to mind when I here peaceful, moderate Muslims speak after each and every atrocity. They ceaselessly disavow terrorism while their own holy book and culture promote the same horror on their own, even their own flesh and blood. It’s hard to wrap the mind around such twisted logic.
