EU proves again that terrorism works

Although the PA has shown no ability (and little or no genuine desire) to rein in Hamas, and despite the fact that both Abbas and Hamas leaders attributed the Gaza withdrawal to suicide bombings, and although Palestinian Arabs celebrated that withdrawal with blood, looting, and threats, the dhimmi EU is ever-ready to appease, promising the Palestinian Arabs as much as $360 million. No hint of holding the Palestinians to account in any way. "EU announces strategy to help build Palestinian state," from AFP, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

BRUSSELS (AFP) - The European Commission announced ambitious plans to help build a politically and economically viable Palestinian state, including injecting hundreds of millions of euros in extra aid.

The aim is to use the opportunity created by Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and put in place a comprehensive medium-term assistance strategy, external relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner said.

"We intend to be a major partner in a viable Palestinian state," she told reporters in Brussels. "We should not let the chance provided by the Gaza withdrawal slip through our fingers."

She said that if the withdrawal led to implementation of the roadmap peace plan and other donors also came forward, she would urge EU states to earmark the Palestinians a further 200-300 million euros (240-360 million dollars).

That "We intend to be a major partner in a viable Palestinian state" is rather intriguing. Sounds like
imperialism to me. And what do all the Leftist anti-imperialists have to say about that? Further, in what way does the EU intend to be a major partner? Are they going to tell the PA to change their jihadist ways or are they going to join in the Jihad against Israel? Are they going to tell the PA to provide true governmental transparency or go on with the croneyism and nepotism that spreads the billions within the inside circle [like Suha, Dahlan, Abu Ala, Abbas, Muhammad Rashid, etc.]? Now, if they are going to be partners in the anti-Israel jihad, are they going to send troops and advanced weapons to help the jihad? Or is their partnership going to be social, forcing the Arabs to give equality to women, to teach rationalism in their schools, build proper sewage systems, etc? Anyhow, is their adoration for the recently invented, so-called "Palestinian people" really intended to be a pretext for European Judeophobia left over from the 1930s?

I have come to the conclusion that the entire EU is anti-Jewish. It also disgusts me that schools are crumbling in France and there is no money to repair them and we send hundreds of millions to the PA so that the PA can use their own revenue to fund jihad, another wise move by the Euro-Elites.

Dafferst:

You took the words right out of my mouth....

Why don't we just make a European People's Army and take the EU? It's not like they can fight back. The largest force they have is the German Bundeswehr, and they have a terrible military record (never won a single war).

Despite being deeply emotional, the comments of previous posters are a reflection of the frustrations that many European citizens feel when confronted by the gap that exists between EU citizens and politicians.

If you are frustrated and disagree with the way Europe is heading to, you can fight by using your vote.

"viable Palestinian state"

Talk about an oxymoron. I agree with the other postings that Euro "support" for the Palestinians is based in large measure on anti-semitism. But I also think that the Euros believe they are buying themselves some protection. If they back the efforts of Palestine to destroy Israel, they think, maybe the terrorists will leave them alone. But as the London bombings and the recent attempted Paris bombings suggest, that is a fantasy.

"If you are frustrated and disagree with the way Europe is heading to, you can fight by using your vote."

Unfortunately Cruzado, the EU has a track record of ignoring the electorate - even when they do give us the opportunity to vote.

How many times have we seen the ruling elite at the EU ask voters to "vote again" until the said ruling elite gets the result they want?

How many times have they decided upon something where the people deserved a vote, but they did not ask because they knew we would thwart them?

The Constitution - rejected by every saane person in the EU & roundly booted into touch by the Dutch & the French is being bought in via the back door, a piece at a time.

There is nothing democratic about the EU.

This money for Palestine - who asked you or me about that? Have we not serious investment & infrastructure problems in Europe? Are we now soooooo wealthy in Europe that we can afford to write open ended cheques to undemocratic terrorist states?

Instead of giving them money, why don't we assist them in finding the alledged $2 billion dollars that Arafat "invested" somewhere?

Yes it is a reflection and if you think I am bad (I am in my forties), you should hear my parents generation.

Albion is spot on with what I feel now. Commissioners are appointed, they run the EU, they are not accountable to the public, hence the EU is the most arrogant organisation on the planet.

While I am at it, I as a Brit would like to make the most heartfelt apology to the Greek Cypriots for the offensive and aggresive actions of her majesty's government in threatening you in this way, so that they can be dhimmis to the Turks. It made me ashamed to be British, sorry!

Daffersd

Indeed. We have a locally very well known Greek Cypriot family near where I live - they run a couple of restaurants.

Engaging Micheal (the elder) in conversation about politics was a real eye opener - I have known him for 20 odd years yet have never talked politics with him before.

All Greek Cypriots in the shop are besides themselves that Great Britain (they still use the "Great" in the title), of all places, could lead the suicidal charge for an EU Turkey.

Our apologies Daffersd, although very much appreciated by the few I have spoken to, are not enough.

Cyprus will be another EU entry fudge - just like the Spain / Britain / Gibralter one of old.

Although Spain was ordered by the EU to drop all claims to Gibralter BEFORE they were accepted into the EU (EU rules state that those wishing to be a member state must first give up all claim to sovereign territory held by any other member state), as we see now Jack Straw is determined to sign away the good folk of Gibralter to Spanish rule before he gets turfed out of office, against the massive majority of opinion there as seen in the 2004 referendum.

Elections, electorate, referendums, rules...these mean nothing to the naked Emporers of Europe.

Albion,

He should be sure that a huge number of Europeans feel the same way.

As soon as the Spanish high-tailed it out of Iraq, they engineered a little splat with Britain over Gibralter to show that they were tough after all, then when that did not work they started on the Morrocans. But the Spanish army did an excellent job by the way in Iraq while their government had some back-bone.

Your right about Cyprus being a fudge.

I get the impression that Jack Straw had to have one success (if that is what you can call it) in the 6 months that the UK has a small vestige of influence in the EU, crying shame it had to be the Turkey issue.

I keep hoping that this Turkey thing will be one of those "let them eat cake" moments for the EU!!

What, do the Europeans need another vacation spot to spend their 6 weeks of vacation?

A place to go where they can lob not only insults at Israel but rockets too.

"I vacationed in Gaza and all I got was this stupid kalashnikov"

When will the EU membership hearings begin?

Given the rampant corruption of the PA and the Islamic wild-west of Gaza, that includes the presence of many mujahediin whose hearts are inspired by the global jihad against the Israeli, American and European Infidels, how can the EU be sure that some of this money will not end up funding terror operations against their own citizens?

I think that we should relocate The EU commission to Gaza and see how long our leftist liberal elite
are tolerated by the very people they propose to assit with our taxpayers money.

The lunatics are definately running the Asylum !

More dhimmi tales from Britain

A £1.700,000 block of flats has been built with the toilets facing away from Mecca so as not to offend Muslims.(Daily Star 7/10/05)

These flats, funded by the taxpayer have been built by a Housing association
the flats which are in Bristol have also been equipped with extra large extraction fans to accommodate the excess steam created when they prepare food.

People who are awaiting housing are convinced that preference in the allocation of housing is being given to "Asian" families.

A Bristol City councillor said " Asian families were given preference over white families who had the same needs.

We all know that in Britain, when the word "Asian" is used it means Muslim.

It appears that we are deliberately being pushed towards another world war. You cannot tell me that these so called self appointed leaders are so stupid. We the ordinary people can see what is going on, so why can't they... you cannot appease an aggressor, and this is very similar to how Islam first started off... They progressed through terror, gathering bullies as they went, with the promise of multiple virgins if they died. I fear that we are in for a world war within in a few years, and I am wondering if it is deliberate, notice that the people who instigate these wars never go to war themselves, so are safe.. they can knock off billions of people and still get out of it alive themselves.
These leaders must read the Quran themselves and see the horrors written in it, for the Muslims to slaughter the pagans where ever they find them. I have found hundreds of verses of Mohammad's atrocities and his dealings with people, and most of them were not when he was attacked either... It appears that either Muslims themselves don't read their Quran, or they have only read the first part of the Quran, or they are simply lying when they say it is a religion of peace,...It is the only religion which tells its people to take the world for their god, and to slaughter those who wont submit.. Mohammad was just a pirate on land..

I'm fed up with islam. I'm fed up with PC obtrusive searches at airports, of myself and my family. I'm fed up of travelling by air in fear. Air travel is a boon to mankind, and muslims have reduced it to a time of fear for all.

Our freedom to criticise without fear is now compromised by PCness on the one hand, and fear of being casually murdered by a muslim living on Benefits in our lands. Why are we using cryptic names in our communications on blogs? Why do we have to hide our identity as if we were spies in WWII Germany?

Fear is the most disabling emotion in a human or a society. It paralyses the mind, then the spirit, and then finally paralyses the body. There is no emotion as deadly to the human condition as fear.

And to make it immeasurably worse, it is costing us huge amounts of money to keep muslims in the West on Welfare, while compromising our freedoms, and at the same time living in fear.

How long are we going to put up with up this nonsense? A person or society can live only for so long in fear. It either revolts violently or succumbs to a whimpering death.

I'm afraid that an explosion is going to take place, that will take a sizeable part of humanity to untimely deaths. Yet all it takes to avert this catastrophe, is not allow muslim immigration in the first place, and then to reverse it by making the West as islam-unfriendly as is possible. In so doing we will force a reformation of islam i.e., in effect its abandonment. And even if that does not occur, we will have at the least, removed the climate of fear that we are living in now, restored our freedoms, and removed an unneccesary expense of time and treasure in security measures.

I vehemently agree with you! Remove the source of terrorism, contention, aggression, and sedition and our problems would not exist. But oh no, we can't do that! We are required to cheerfully tolerate all cultures and religions, even those that are incompatible and deadly. The best way to accomodate bellicose immigrants is to eliminate our own cultural traditions so they won't offend the intractable invaders. After all, they are MINORITIES and MINORITIES are SACRED above all else, except moral relativism and political correctness.

Sooner or later, the ignorant, apathetic, lazy, too-busy-to-care types will wake up one morning and realize that while they devoted all their time and energy to their careers, love affairs, social lives, or whatever, their culture was being dismantled, piece by piece. The comforting, familiar images and time-honored traditions of their world have been replaced by a generic wasteland of euphemisms and artificiality.

But right around the corner they will find a multicultural utopia, that cherished "tapestry" of foreign languages; signs written in strange scripts; people dressed in peculiar clothing; shops with unfamiliar merchandise; and architectural anomalies. They will discover another world right there where their world used to be, filled with alien, hostile people who resent intruders; it's THEIR space now, not yours. They proudly brandish the cultural essence of foreign lands; in fact, they replicate those foreign lands in the hearts of American cities and suburbs.

These are the poor, pitiful, victimized minorities who have been persecuted, repressed, and exploited by the evil West for centuries, and although you weren't responsible for the real or imagined plights of their ancestors, you're going to pay. They get to go to the front of the line for special consideration in college admissions and jobs, whether qualified or not. Don't even think about complaining or you might be hauled to court for racism, hate speech, or intolerance. Your punishment could include compulsory sensitivity training, conducted by an arrogant, rancorous member of a sacred minority. Only they are qualified to teach diversity and sensitivity to racist, intolerant Westerners, and their fees are exorbitant. You pay the fees.

If we don't do something to stop the insanity that has permeated our country soon, it will be too late.
