First Iftar Dinner in the European Parliament

While Turkey indulges its fantasies of war with Europe, the Eurodhimmis do all they can to make them feel welcome. From Zaman.com, with thanks to Jen:

The European Parliament (EP) hosted an iftar dinner for the first time in its history. The “fast-breaking dinner for Ramadan” took place one week after the EU launched accession talks with Turkey; it was organized by the Belgian-Turkish Businessmen Association (BETIAD), the Intercultural Dialogue Platform (IDP) and the EP.

The iftar dinner hosted by EP members Cem Ozdemir, Claude Moraes, Dr. Georges Chatzimarkakis and German State Minister Armin Lachet was said to be the most crowded dinner organized in the EP.

Greek-origin Chatzimarkakis said, "Islam entered the EU with this iftar organization," also mentioned the tolerance of the Ottoman era in a positive way.

See Andrew Bostom's recent articles for more on the "tolerance of the Ottoman era." Chatzimarkakis dishonors his ancestors who fought and died for Greek independence from Ottoman tolerance.

Someone just push the button already. I'm ready to catch me a nuclear bomb.

Quick, vomit bag.

This is mad. And if members of the E.U. think they will win points, or win some kind of reprieve from Muslim pressure, they fail to understand the very different psychology of Muslims. Would someone please reprint, or send me the money to reprint, Andre Servier's "The Psychology of the Musulman," which last appeared in 1923, and has not been reprinted since? Perhaps we can get that book translated into major European languages, and posted on the Internet.

And if some members of the E.U. wish to make clear that the E.U. is not, not, not, as Erdogan charges, a "Christian club," then for god's sake will someone ask the Turkish government to show us how the real religion-based organization, the "Islamic club" of the O.I.C., will demonstrate that it is not, contrary to rumor, that "Islamic club." Will it be sending out tidings of comfort and joy this season? Or wish peace on earth to all men of good will (to use the slightly sterner French version, not the more sentimental English transposition -- "good will toward men")? Could Infidels ever be wished a "peace" other than the "peace of Islam" -- we know what that means. Could Infidels, Infidels unwilling to convert, and unwilling to submit to dhimmitude, and unwilling to appease Muslims in their incessant, and essentially endless demands, for changes in the laws, in the customs, in the manners, in the understandings, in the histories, of all the Infidel countries, but especially those of the powerful, advanced, once-and-perhaps-still-proud, and therefore infuriating, West -- could those Infidels receive, signed by all the members of the O.I.C., eager to please in the same way that the E.U. was eager to stage this Iftar dinner, a
Christmas card?

Oh hell, if not a Christmas card, then could Saudi Arabia please send the world's Infidels a nominal sum, a token sum, for our collective Christmas stocking (it's very long, and very wide) -- say, $300 billion to make up for all the added security costs and trouble you've caused, along with a promise not to do it again.

We don't believe you, but we would like that $300 billion.

Now if you can think of some stocking-stuffers that I should have mentioned, but didn't, please add your two cents (I've put in my two cents for a claim to $300 billion) below.

How, how, how, can the admitted "Islamic club" of the O.I.C. reciprocate for this Iftar dinner by the putative "Christian club" of the E.U.?

More acts of community suicide in Europe.

Well, Hush, I will go to the library and request a copy through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL). I got Malik's Quranic Concept of War' through that, and as you can see below, there are numerous copies available through ILL. I will let you know. I have the QCW image copied (all 200 double page images) but not yet twained to text. That will take some more effort. I'll see what Musulman will require.

For those who do not know, if your library's online service has access to WORLDCAT, you can see if any rare book is available for ILL.

Sorry Hugh, didn't mean to call you "hush" as in hush my mouth.

"Hush my mouth"? No, it's "wahll, shut ma mouth" --isn't it?

Thanx Sobeieski...Im a student at SUNY Buffalo! I love my school's libraries!

I posted this on a previous thread.:

I'll post it again, especially for the smarmy, the 'who- knows- how -he- got -there' little weasel Cem Ozdemir, who, if one spends a bit of time in Europe, is forced to endure, to indulge him, inevitably:

On TV, Radio, in the papers, just like the creepy Tariq (frere) Ramadan, you'll see them, you'll hear them, their "tolerance", the "inevitable" Islam that is here "to stay" etc. etc.

I think Hugh can tell it it much better! Go ahead and take 'em apart, mate!

"...History will not judge us kindly if we fail to treat Turkey with respect...."

It doesn't even sound as phony as "but will you 'respect me in the morning...?"

I spit on Erdogan.

I spit on Turkey, its government, its pretenses, on its history and everything it claims to be.

I spit on the slime-balls, the "movie-makers", the social-raisers, those who are pushed and pulled, ( by the completely insane) red-green creeps that have for so long now muddled the waters of Western Europe! By pushed and pulled, I mean subsidized, with tax-money, for worthless pet-projects, for being "artists", for rubbish "art" paid for by the hapless peoples of Europe, who must be, cost it what it may, be impressed by the "achievements of their Turkish Immigrants"... I want to puke my heart out...

I think I need ... I need therapy! Who is going to pay for it?

Now Eurabia is a reality. Soon every non-muslim will have to adopt a muslim. This is dhimmi time.

And all those who are crying so much about christian sins in the past, boy you buggers don`t know hoe you are going to pay.

Enjoy.

"I think I need ... I need therapy! Who is going to pay for it?"

King: Couldn't agree more! I got a blank check right here.

Sure, King. That's what it is. Not an ideology that is so redolent with triumphalism and conquest that you don't have to cherry-pick your way through its holy texts to find reams of bellicosity and rationalizations for it, from the earliest days when Mohammed started slaughtering the Jews of the Hejaz. I guess that's why the Iranians and Iraqis fought a knock-em down, drag-em out battle for 8 years, resulting in over a million deaths, because of "Christian sins" and why the Sunni majority in Pakistan are slaughtering the smaller Shiite communities and much smaller Ahmaddeyan communities, because of "Christian sins".

"King: Couldn't agree more! I got a blank check right here..."

Prove that you're not a liar and post it straight away to Jihad watch/dhimmi Watch!

King: Its the Christian sins in the past that are haunting us today and that's what you can't stand.

Your sin, your haunting is no skin off my back. There are many who do not have this `haunting-sin` complex. They`ll probly fight to keep their skins on after you have finished with your haunting sins.

From an earlier thred:

kt: Anyhow, the point here is that Jewish (and Christian) scripture have many passages the prescribe violence - just as the Koran does.

Myself: Show us where these are being followed, each day, Every day. Show us the links to newspapers articles. That is the point and the question. Show Us Where.

It was the head nurse, Bibi Prem Kaur. This brave lioness daughter of Guru Gobind Singh Jee had given up her life to save the Khalsa Army from a humiliating defeat. While the other nurses retreated with the wounded Akalees, she had secretly gone to the depot and hidden near the bullet storage. Lighting the ammunition, the blast had blown her body away from the dead Pathans, as if to protect her innocence and honor her sacrifice.`

T
hat woman had more guts than a periodic tolerant.
I have a lot more examples if the period persists.

Tell me something, kt. Was the kid who knifed Van Gogh to death, politically motivated?

King: Its the Christian sins in the past that are haunting us today and that's what you can't stand.

Of course, the evil Christians are responsible for every despicable act that muslims have committed in the 1400 year history of Islamic desolation. I have always believed that actions speak louder than words and the actions of muslims TODAY are axiomatic, as is the silence of muslims who support Islam's imperialist agenda.

You are entitled to hate Christianity but how can you compare "passages that precribe" violence in the Bible to the litany of savagery that defines Islam? Ancient Christian violence, mitigated and finally abolished by the Reformation centuries ago, is hardly comparable or relevant to Islam's immutable doctrine of hatred and perpetual war against non-muslims.

You have done a superb job of convincing yourself that Christianity is culpable for all injustice found in the world, and that Islam is the panacea to cure its pernicious influence. "Christian sins of the past" are exactly that: ANCIENT HISTORY. Christianity does espouse love, kindness, juistice, charity, tolerance, freedom, and peace, and those elements define today's Christianity. Islam is and will always be defined by xenophobia, superiority, intolerance, megalomania, violence, oppression, slavery, and blind faith. Yes, Islam is a jewel; we should all celebrate its contributions to humanity.

If KT isn't a muslim, one only has to go to the LLL blogs to find people just like him. It is really frightening to see that there are people in the US who have all the freedoms that America has provided, that hate our country and the very foundations that the US was built upon. They believe that "America is the most terrorist nation on earth". I think they all should be given free passage to North Korea or their favorite land of all,"palestine", to get a taste of their utopian dream.

This Iftar business, with the menu French redolent of Curnonsky and Careme, that curlicued and baroque French that makes everything, even burnt toast, sound so good, but without the wines that the Eurodeputies might have thought would be served at least for them, may seem merely like an act of wonted sympathetic interest in the customs and manners of the new Muslim Europeans, just the latest in a long line of those who have had an alien creed. But Islam is not merely an alien creed. It is an alien and a hostile creed, its hostility deeply rooted in the immutable canonical texts of Islam.

However outwardly sweet the amuse-bouche proferred by the hosts may be, it will still taste, to the connoisseur, of wormwood and gall.

And the Infidels who show up for this particular "historic" Iftar should devoutly conclude, at the end of the evening, that this dinner "n'a pas un gout de revenez-y."

A pithy judgment. More than enough for one's mental Michelin.

Thank you Hugh
Pain de déjeuner brûlé does sound better. But will it fool my old man?

Do those in the positions of power celebrate Passover? Just wondering...if "Ram-it-down" is celebrated.

I hope they served a nice pork loin.

President Bush has beat the EU to it.

One year after 9-11, he hosted an Ifter dinner, so says the White house.gove website President Hosts Iftaar Remarks by the President at Iftaar
State Dining Room

Dhimmitude abounds, then again the Arabs have most of the oil, and most of our money at that.

Looks like the businessmen, want to get their hands on some of that money.

Follow the money.

`President Bush has beat the EU to it.` posted above.

Then hopefully we will see the words `islamic radicalism` being used in Europe as the root cause of terror - Bush done it again.

King T re your comments on the 11th dawa in Canada -

"King: Ooooo, I dunno. You're going to make Geoff awfully happy! He forages for such things like spelling and grammar.
Anyhow, your obfuscation and "explanation" about OT/NT is exactly what I expected. You can sit here and dissect a scripture that's not yours and come up with all sorts for reasons to hate it"

Actually King T my point is they are not the same. The Bible is solely based in Israel, re the passages you quote, to specific people in that time - I am still waiting for you to show me where that is in the Koran. The Bible passages you quote – if you read a little before and a little after – you would see that.

Obviously you cannot comprehend the simple language and commands in the Bible - THE WHOLE part/chapter/story of the passages you quote. If I was to quote THE WHOLE - chapter/passages in the Koran - I don't see any a) Story in a specific place 2) these commands being given to specific people, as in named individuals(who are all LONG DEAD) c) Which the reason Christians AND Jews can’t use those scriptures to justify violence today.

Why won’t you address the points I raised re the Bible? What you are a worthy scholar of the Koran, and also the Bible yet you won’t show it? Without showing it - what right do you have to condemn me for my comprehension of the Koran and my hate for its 110 war and killing verses that are generically littered all through it?

OH – I can only assume by your comment above, that I am not worthy to read and comprehend a book – any book, especially one that is not “mine”. Thanks for the insult. Do you usually insult people that you cannot debate with in a reasoned way?

PS If you are not Muslim, why then do you defend and I assume, approve of sex with little nine year old girls? Also to dismiss my answer re the OT/NT as "expected" is not exactly providing a rebuff to what I said.
