Holland fears killings over ban on burqa

Islamic peace and tolerance update from Holland, via the TimesOnline, with thanks to RB:

HOLLAND’S Muslims have responded with outrage to government proposals to ban the burqa, and there are fears that Rita Verdonk, the minister behind the move, will be added to a list of “enemies of Islam” targeted for assassination.

The country was on high alert yesterday after talk of a burqa ban coincided with the arrest of a group suspected of planning to murder two politicians....

One of those arrested was Samir Azzouz, a 19-year-old of Moroccan origin, who in April was acquitted of charges of planning to attack Amsterdam airport and blow up a nuclear reactor. A spokeswoman for Verdonk acknowledged concerns that other supporters of Van Gogh’s killer might have added her name to the hit list.

Few Dutch Muslims wear a burqa, though the issue could prove explosive if Muslim radicals encourage their women to wear it in defiance of a ban.

That has to be intentional, don't you think?

I wish radical Muslims would confine their explosive and combustible reactions to the realm of metaphor.

Interested: Yes it is intentional. once again its the libs/msm trying to score points here.

Chief VitalStatistix says,
"We have nothing to fear except the sky falling on our heads"

Daniel Pipe's famous quote "education through murder".

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a shortcut around this process.

The subtitle should be -

Muslim leaders speak out and say they cannot predict what some of their youth might do if they are provoked by a Burka ban

If some group refuses to shake hands with someone isn't that insensitive and intolerant? DO Muslims recognize Verdonk as a reponsible minister in charge of immigratgion or is the hatred to her also similar to the hatred to Van Gogh who sought to help Muslim women fro the bondage of Islam. How can anyone be against freedom? Is the EU demanding that Muslims recognize that in western democratic countries woman have the vote and notnot beaton up by their husbands as it describes in submission. By the way why is it so hard to find this film on the web? is there some sort of attempt to supress this courageous fil on human rights.

LOL, yeah, you could say that "there is some sort of attempt to suppress ......." It's out there somewhere, but for obvious reasons it can't be publicized. This film drove the macho muzzies into frenzied fits and rabid hysteria. Self-control, an indication of maturity, is not a prevalent trait among muslims. The defense of Islam requires dedication, unbridled passion, and the will to kill. They killed van Gogh for making it and they'll kill anyone who shows it, if they can get their hands on him.

From "Indigo Jo's Blog:"

A Yusuf Smith about Rita Verdonk: "What a name!" as if "Yusuf Smith" wouldn't give you the creeps!

Further down, more hair-raising stuff:

"...The Netherlands has seen one murder, of a professional arsehole who made it his mission to offend everyone. People should remember this before they justify it on the grounds that the world has started seeing female suicide bombers; the point is, none of the countries which ban the niqab or interfere with Muslim women's rights in other ways has suffered terrorism from Muslim women..."

Thats "the point" - and all of this comes of course from
self-proclaimed "moderate Muslims"...

Mark52: There's alink to Submission on my blospot: A New Dark Age Is Dawning in the piece about the burka ban.

Hope this helps.

Just think about it people. Without the burquas there will be an incredible amount of deadly erotic hair rays flying around Holland. Muslim young men's hormones will be ragging to beat the band and who knows what might happen. An enterprising imam could sell Anti-erotic hair ray sun glasses and make a killing.

"...one murder, of a professional arsehole who made it his mission to offend everyone..."

I'm not done yet with "yusuf smith", the 'Indigo Jo' blogger who writes such diatribe about Theo van Gogh and has the hide to call Charles Johnson and Robert Spencer operators of "hate-sites":

We know who the "professional arseholes" are, who murder for the RoP and the pedophile "prophet", who are in a state of mad frenzy which -according to Winston Churchill- is 'more dangerous than hydrophobia in a dog!'

These fools are not able to realize that we are *still* treating them with velvet gloves!
