TEHRAN, Iran - Tens of thousands of Iranians staged anti- Israel protests across the country on Friday, repeating calls by their ultraconservative president for the Jewish state's destruction.World leaders have condemned Wednesday's remarks by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who repeated the words of the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, leader of the Islamic revolution, by saying: "Israel must be wiped off the map."
On Friday the Iranian embassy in Moscow tried to soften the impact of Ahmadinejad's comment.
"Mr. Ahmadinejad did not have any intention to speak in sharp terms and engage in a conflict," the Iranian embassy in Moscow said in a statement following a wave of international criticism.
Yeah, surrre.
This thing about `World leaders have condemned` is unadulterated rubbish. Not one muslim country, nor the OIC (Organization Of Islamic Countries) has conemned. Their silence is assent as preached by that filthy book.
Bush has a copy and surely Blair can afford one (or he can ask Cherie who seems to be a bit of an expert on burqas etc.). It`s all there. So Blair should stop making noises and insulting the religion of peace.

As we watch, and listen to the open foot stomping, and sabre rattling of Irans recently elected President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, one wonders why so
many people think President Bush's war efforts against Saddams Iraq,and yes; even Afghanistan have only increased the fundamental Islamic movement of jihadism, or their achievement of the 6th pillar of Islam of which all good muslims are supposed to strive for short of being branded an apostate by other fellow muslims.
The real fact is that this ideology of jihadism that is driven by the teachings of the Quran, and the hadiths has been coming at the western world for nearly 1,400 years, and long before anyone ever heard of North America. And of course this is what led to the Crusades against over 400 years of Islamic conquests through force, and fear that finally came a knocking at the door of France.
So what is so difference in this 20TH, and 21ST Century world when it comes to the ever encroaching and so-called "religion of peace", which in itself is an incredible perpetuated falsehood of the highest order?
It is the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION of the late 19th,and 20th Century. And combining it with the now TECHNOLOGY REVOLUTION that has quite fast, and furiously accelerated, as well as perpetuated the fundamental movement of Islamic jihad, not only towards the western world but throughout the entire world. -Other than that, nothing has really changed.
Can we curb this ever encroaching totalitarian ideology that is already rearing its determined head everywhere in America today, from hundreds of mosques, from CAIR,from the ACLU, to the ears of our politicians, and in our universities, to a incredible naiveness of American culture who seems to take freedom and democracy for granite?
PROBABLY NOT, is the quick answer.
The real answer is educating the American people on what Islam is all about, and what they are pursuing through the teachings of Islams Quran, and the hadiths that have been brought to them by their militant Prophet Mohammed.
The real answer is to preserve and protect as well as be true to the foundations that America stands for.
The real answer is for all Americans to clearly understand the differences in these to Ideologies.

The world will tank about this for a day or two, no discussion of this past Monday. Remember in Iran this is a DAMM "HOLIDAY" that they are honoring. The holiday was set up by Kohmenie, and is a day that is nationally honored.
This is nothing new, Ahmedinejad just happen to get caught on tape. It surprised the media because it was a direct speech. But the media and the world are ALLREADY for a EXCUSE. (even while watching the Iranian TV the public rallys). And when the excuse comes, the world will say "weh, you made us wait for that excuse a little longer then normal, we were starting to believe we were going to have to do something".
AMERICA should have a public rally against Iran. But...we won't.
Isreal will be the one to deal with this problem. While everyone else is talking about doing something, and having meetings about doing something.....Isreal, when they want will desimate Iran.
Then Isreal will have the worlds attention and condemnation. The world will tell Isreal we were dealing with the issue, we had meetings, we were so close (how many decades).
Iran is so close to nuclear. The world is talking and watching (remember North Korea had the IAEA looking over their shoulders and that did not stop them). Even Europe admits that Iran cannot go nuclear. They figure if they wait long enough talking about it, Isreal will take care of the problem.
Isreal will clean house. And this is one American that will not be condeming Isreal.
Ahmadinejad is a fool out of his depth, and reportedly even the mullahs are annoyed with him. But a segment of Iranians (a minority) agrees with his sentiments. Iran has no business being a nuclear power until people like him are not in office.

Ahmadinejad is trying to assert himself in an ever changing Middle East. No he did not threaten with Nukes, unless his wrath of Islamic Fire is any clue, but most of his speech was of the Palstine strive for nationhood and the drive towards the destruction of Iseral. Its not so much a warning to Iseral of immeniate Nuclear War, it would be suicide for the Jihadists at this moment, one of the reasons I beleive they have held off any plans of Nuclear attack of a dirty Nuke in the US or something worse, is these guys are well aware of our Nuclear Arsenal and what Hell and response that follows worldwide.
