Islamic Jihad continues its murderous work. "At least five killed in Hadera suicide bombing," from Haaretz, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
A suicide bomber exploded in the open air market in the coastal city of Hadera a little before 4 P.M. Wednesday afternoon, killing at least five people and wounding dozens more.At least six people were said to be in serious condition; another four sustained moderate wounds.
The explosion occurred in front of a felafel stand at the entance to the market in downtown Hadera, a city that has been a frequent target of attacks during the past five years of violence.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack soon after the blast, saying the bombing was retaliation for the death of its military leader, Luay Sa'adi, in an Israel Defense Forces raid in the West Bank several days ago.
So once again, in response to the killing of a "military leader," a man who planned violent attacks against civilians, his organization kills more civilians.
Let's not forget what US Secretary of State Condi Rice offered up yesterday. She apparently believes that Israel must do more to allow open access to Israel so that Jihadis could murder some more people:
"OTTAWA - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice suggested Tuesday that Israel must loosen controls at border crossings to allow freer passage for Palestinians and economic development in areas that would one day be an independent Palestinian state."
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051026/ap_on_re_ca/rice
If the GOP wants to lose the next election, run Rice for POTUS. We are not in lock-step. The unsecure borders and the coddling of islam will not play well with a lot of us.
Before you all start going on about Islam and the "Plaestianian" Arab terrorists remember this.
The people really responsible for this suicide-homocide Islamic terrorists bombing are Ariel Sharon and the Jewish appeasers themselves.
They wanted to appease and they are now reaping the fruits. The problem is not with the them (the Islamofascists). The problem is with the Israelis themselves who are not taking the necessary measures to protect themselves are deludeded with ideas of false peace.
They will not learn and so this will not be the last. The Israelis are losing the will to fight. They want to sit back and relax and enjoy life.
Watch out. Next they will dis-engage (hand over Israeli lands to the Arab occupiers) from the West back too. That might finally appease the Islamofascists. Brilliant. Just hand over the whole country and live as good dhimmis then there will be no more terror and we will all have peace.
IC:
The Jews have been trying to appease Muslims since Mohammed first reared his ugly head. To paraphrase Israeli historian Benny Morris, had the Israelis really treated the Palestinians as harshly as they are accused of having done, there wouldn't still be a Palestinian problem.
That being said, withdrawal from the Gaza was not a choice freely made.

Are you saying that they were coerced? Would that be Dubya and Condi?
Such idiots those two are. Put together, they form a kind of critical mass of dogged wrongheadedness and incorrectitude.

Despite the fact that there is no substance to allegation that the "occupation" was illegal under international law, perception is everything and I think you know what the broad perception is.
The pressure came from many sides, internal as well as external, with the EU playing no small role in matters as well as the US and UK.
Sharon's decision was doubtless made knowing full well that it would not result in any cessation of attacks on Israeli civilians and the hope, however desparate, that the world would finally understand this as well. (An Arab journalist who writes for the Jerusalem Post wrote about a year ago about the very, very cold shoulder the PA was getting when it sought sympathy from EU representatives in the West Bank and Ramallah for IDF reprisals following attacks on civilians. The continued attacks post withdrawal can't be playing very well to that audience.)
If we're relying on the wisdom of EU officials in this matter,we're in a world of hurt.
"Informed" Christian,
(Ought I to have placed the word 'Christian' in quotes, too?)
How long have you lived in Israel? How many family members lost homes in the recent disengagement? How many loved ones have you lost to a Palestinian sniper's bullet, or to a suicide bomber's last act on this earth?
I thought so.

waterdragon52 (http://profile.typekey.com/waterdragon52) I agree. I wrote something like that sometime last year here at JihadWatch.org
There was pressure from all sides, the US, EU and so on pressing Israel to cede its lands but the choice was freely made by the Israelis to disengage from Gaza. They still could have rejected it. Benjamin Natanyahu was opposed to it but quite a large majority of Israelis supported the withdrawal, including the majority inside the supposedly "right wing" Likud party. Actually there was a poll conducted in Israel and it showed that the majority supported Sharon's plan. I posted an article about it here while the Jews were being expelled from Gaza but that message was deleted by the Censors here at JihadWatch.org since it was deemed to be Haram for some reason just like this message http://informedchristiannews.blogspot.com/2005/10/halal-and-haram-speech-at.html & http://www.geocities.com/informed_christian/2005/10/26/index.html I wrote today which was also deleded.
This should answer libbysmom (http://profile.typekey.com/hadassahchana) as well, since she didn't seem to understand me here at http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/008715.php#c135877
By the way libbysmom what does "libbysmom" means? LesbiMom???

Thoughts on this thread and comments
Responsibility is a bitter pill,
no thrill at all as it's washed down
with the dregs of unskillful actions,
and the deluded ideas
of philosopher charlatans.
We are all responsible
for the state of our being,
our seeing of the world,
our view of right and wrong
and it all adds up to whether
a nation, a civilization,is strong,
or not.
The U.S. must not pressure Israel
to appease the arab jihadis.
The sacred history of mohammed,
provides the perfect pattern
for all mohammedans
and shows the Jews
will lose their heads.
But after Saturday's people
come Sunday's people,
and other faiths,
until the world
is all one mono-culture
and worships a black rock,
a black hearted warrior
and a tribal moon god in arabia.
Where is the voice of the Christians
who soon will no longer be able
to visit or live in Bethlehem,
Ephesus, Corinth,Jerusalem?
the Holy Land, home of Jesus Christ
where his love for all beings,
where the blood of the martyrs
seeps deep into the desert sand?
Where are the Hindus
and the Buddhists?
Hoping to find sanctuary
in looking in instead of out?
Hoping that politics will protect them?
Where are the defenders of the Dharma?
Where is Arjuna and the Magicians,
Arthur the King?
Sharon is old and tired,
a valiant warrior who fought many battles
and now fights the enemy within,
as do we. Freedom is not easily won.
Democracy is a double edged sword
and depends on maturity
and responsibililty
for its best results.
We are all in this together
whether we like it or not
for the alternative is death.
I agree. We are all in this together. This miserable war.
For anyone who is interested, I have posted my book review of Mohammedanism by Hurgronje. Published in 1916, the more things change, the more things stay the same. It's the same issues. Islam is the albatross around the neck of humanity.

"At least five killed in Hadera suicide bombing"
Which means it must be...Wednesday in Israel or Tuesday, or Shabbat, it doesn't matter.
The suicidal psychopathology collectively known as 'Israel' has been begging the filthy, arab, muslim genocidal terrorists to kill them for years. They've given up HaShem, they've given up The Land, and now they continue to give up their lives.
(W)ahabbster and reich will "urge restraint" in the name of "peace" as they RSVP their invitations to the first Palestine State Dinner, to be held in Jerusalem.
The arabs have infinite will to kill Jews and 'reclaim' Israel. Israel has zero will for anything, let alone survival and so will continue to die while handing over more land to buy a few extra minutes of life.
(W)ahabbster, abu mazen, and abdullah will be partying and pissing on the Kotel HaMaariv within five years.
(W)ahabbster is death for Jews and death for Ammericans.
Informed Christian;
Lesbimom?
You sir, are an ass.
What the hell is wrong with you? That moronic, screamingly ignorant remark is exactly the kind of retarded .....God, I can't even begin to put into words the level of disgust I feel for you right now. If that's your idea of a brilliant retort, please, please go jump in front of a bus.
You are a sick and black-souled piece of garbage and I hope you never post here again.

Israel: Remove Iran from the UN
http://www.jpost.com...
Here in the US we need to support the for the removal of Iran from the UN.
In answer to much above comment, by the time the expulsion of Jews from Gaza started, public support for retreat and expulsion had gone down below 50% [for instance, see various polls this past summer before implementation of expulsion, particularly reports in Maqor Rishon, www.makorrishon.co.il ].
When I watched the international "news" networks, this drop in support was not reported. Further, we have the problem of domination of the mass media by state TV and radio, plus newspapers that toe the line [called "leftist"]. This control or domination prevents people from thinking for themselves, to a certain extent.
Remember: Neither the people nor the government are afraid of fighting Arabs. What the govt is afraid is international isolation, the UN, EU, etc. This is dumb but that's the way the govt thinks. Now, it seems to me that Sharon made a deal with Bush who has an unjustified pro-Israel reputation. Recall back in March-April 2002, after the bombing massacre in the Park Hotel in Netanyah, and the start of the Defensive Shield operation. Bush was outspokenly opposed to it and publicly declared that he "expected" Israel to start to withdraw its troops from "Palestinian Authority" zones quickly or immediately. However, there was too much public anger at the Arabs and support for this operation. The call up of reserves was met with a more than 100% response. It seems to me that Sharon around that time made a deal with Dubya that if Bush withdrew his opposition to the Defensive Shield operation, that when Arab terrorism was reduced to a low level of activity, and the Israeli population was calmed down, he -Sharon- would carry out a gratuitous retreat and expulsion.

Yes, I've had more than enough of that kind of posting too. Snide humour in black times is one thing, but baseless smears against someone whose opinion may not mesh with yours is way over the line.
