Jihadists rejoice in Ramadan violence

Ramadan is the month of jihad, and the excitement is rising among the jihadists: "The Heat Is On As Martyrs March In Baghdad, Mosul," from the pro-jihad site Jihad Unspun, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Al-Qaida in the Land of the Two Rivers turned up the heat as the Holy month of Ramadan began, with their martyrs attacking near the Green Zone and in Mosul as their group carried out several other operations with renewed vigor.

What many do not know is that Ramadan is a month of commitment and renewal of Muslim faith and cause, whether by military or nonmilitary jihad. It is a month of martyrdom and commitment to one's Islamic ideology. Throughout Islamic history, Ramadan has been seen as a time of victory for Muslim armies and a period when those who are martyred have a greater assurance of a place in paradise.

This is of course not lost on the Brother of Tawheed who, as expected, ramped up operations yesterday.

Happy Ramadan

Ny Goodness! It all sounds so serious. But I think I have the solution to put all of these uptight Jihadis in the true Ramadan spirit.

I think the broadcasters should play music fit for the season, to celebrate this very special time of year. They can call it "Ram-a-Dan-a-Ding-Dong," playing all of the Golden Oldies from Ramadans gone by, with such favorites as:

"Everybody, Must Get Stoned," (to help us all remember, it is better to give than to receive)

"Hey Jew!" (a tribute to holocaust deniers everywhere)

"Come on Baby, Light My Fire," (with warm holiday wishes of course)

Apologies to Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Doors. Also, apologies and peace to those of goodwill.

Ramadan is the muslim month of fasting (day time fasting)

I guess you can skip this religious responsibility by waging war...The Koran makes plenty of accomodating exceptions for this.

Or, fasting as well as eating too much makes one aggressive???

-Unattended daytime appetite usually makes one impatient (Imagine a month).
- eating too much, too late at night added to sleeping with a full stomack of undigested foods (imagine a month).
-Waking too early, (before sunrise), cutting on sleep, rushing a "breakfast" before light shows up. Cutting on sleep hygene that promotes good humour vitamines;-) (imagine a month)

Fasting (a real fast) may be good, eating too much too late creates bad mood;-) and ads up

Bad mood makes one aggressive.

Ramadan is the month of Jihad ?
or daytime fasting...

Fasting (while eating late late) makes one aggressive. Jihad expresses this aggressivity.

Would I survive making a study on the link between the Ramadan austerities and violence ? Or would that a crime against Islam.
