Some Canadian Muslims, no doubt enraged by the Israeli occupation of Ottawa, have joined the jihad in Iraq. "Canadians join insurgency," from the Ottawa Sun, with thanks to Cindy:
A number of radicals from Canada -- fewer than 10 -- have slipped across borders to join the fighting in Iraq, CSIS director Jim Judd said during a break at an annual gathering of intelligence experts in Montreal yesterday."We know of others who may be planning to," he added. "I don't think there's anything we can do legally to prevent this."
"We know of others who may be planning to," he added. "I don't think there's anything we can do legally to prevent this."
Translation:
"We're Canadian -- we're multicultural so this is really really an inconvenient thing to have happen -- the only thing that occurs to us when Muslims come over here and plot our nation's demise is to treat it legally -- but we don't have the proper laws and it would be gross to just discriminate -- And bigoted and Islamophobic to blame Islam -- eh? --
When something really goes bad, the only thing we have found that works is to blame it on America and then we feel a lot better about ourselves -- but here's a case where blaming it on America won't quite work -- but we don't know what to do -- no laws -- hmmmm -- and it must NEVER be the Muslims fault...
Hey -- here's an idea, come to think about it -- we wouldn't have any Muslim terrorists in Canada if it weren't for America and thier hegemonistic imperialist wars and their SUVs and their greed.... Right? Maybe we can figure out a way to blame this all on the Americans and feel better about ouselves after all!.."
"I don't think there's anything we can do legally to prevent this."
You may not be able to prevent them from leaving, but you can sure arrest and jail them upon return.
Or, since these jihadist's minds are stuck in the past, what about some good old fashion Middle Ages humiliation, Islamic style. The muslims could pig grease and feather these bastards and excommunicate them from their community. Or something more modern, anything will do. Anything to show us that they will not tolerate the jihadis in their midst! We are waiting patiently, but the clock is ticking...
Arrest these bastards if they try and return.
Then deport them.
Info from my brother, an American SpecOps soldier who specializes in arranging meetings with allah. He's is in country on a second T.O.D of Iraq. He's already mentioned the presence of a few "out-of-towners" but says that their numbers are pretty neglible. Most, if not all jihadis are pretty damn scared to fight them in the open because of such speedy arrangement.
They become single use weapons that are tossed aside once dead. From his point of view, it's a good thing these idiots are so willing to die since they never come back.
Maybe these Canadian allah pushers won't have to be arrested, deported and be a burden on civic funds. Instead, they may end up sand fodder.
For some reason I always cringe when I hear the adjective"radical",or extremist" and yet that is the definition used to describe muslims who pick up arms and decide to commit jihad against the infidels.
And yet they are only following their fundamental teachings from the Quran, and the hadiths. They are in fact performing the requirement of the 6th pillar of Islam and simply being a good fundamental muslim.
Any less effort to attain all the required 6 pillars of Islam in their lifetime may leave them branded as apostates to their faith.

Incredibly an article fully sympathetic to the coptics without the usual pro islamic spin in the last paragraphs ! Is the BBC changing ?
Man killed in Egypt church riot
A man has died during a riot outside a Coptic church in Alexandria, Egypt, which started as a protest against a play accused of offending Islam.
Police used sticks and tear gas to hold back a crowd of some 5,000 protesters who marched on St George's church.
Dozens of people were injured in the crush. The man who died was trampled and had inhaled tear gas, police said.
On Wednesday, a Muslim man stabbed a nun in protest at the sale of a DVD of the play, staged at the church in 2003.
The demonstration was the latest in a series of incidents at the church related to the performance of the play.
Entitled I Once Was Blind But Now I See, the drama tells the story of a poor young Copt who is drawn to Islamist militants who then try to kill him.
'Not insulting'
A young Indo-Canadian male was deported recently to India. He'd served a short period of house-arrest for causing the death of a woman while he and others illegally raced their cars on a public street. Yes, he slammed his car into a lady and killed her. House arrest.
The government proceeded to extradict him to India. But, as the papers said at each and evry opportunity, he'd changed from being the wild rich kid he was before, and he'd taken up religion, become a "nice young man." Cranky old man that I am, I asked if there were two kinds of law in Canada, one for nice people who kill middle afged ladies and another law for cranky old guys and the rest of the population. The killer's gone, in spite of the massive protests from his community, a large voter-bloc.
Now it seems, and from me this is second hand at best, that the incidents of hit-and-run crimes is soaring in the areas most heavily populatied by Indo-Canadians. What? Well, it seems that they fear deportation if they're found at the scene of an accident[!?] And what do they do? They find solace and support among the communty who silently and secretly mobilize to repair the damaged cars and cover up any further unpleasantness.
In response the government does what? Do they investigate the community and deport the lot of the conspirators? Well, that's not very Canadian. No, there's a move afoot, from what I gather, to stop threts of deportation for killing people during the commision of crimes. That deportation stuff just drives people to further crimes. It unfairly criminalizes whole groups of otherwise law-abiding people who are forced by social injustice to become criminals.
So, yes, it's your fault. That is, if you're American. We'll think up a reason for that later.
For those of us who watch from the outside, the question arises: What do you do when the Law rots? At what point does the administration of justice become illegitimate? If the law doesn't apply equally to cranky old guys as well as to nice guys from large voter-bloc communities, then where does the Law itself gain any legitimacy in the eyes of the community at large? If I'm a nice guy for a change, can I kill people with impunity, or do I also have to be part of a voter-bloc who count? If I'm just a traveller with dubious credentials, can I commit smaller crimes and get away with it if I'm sort of nice most of the time? And if for some reason I go to Iraq with a Canadian passport in pocket and murder civilians, is it ok to do so and return if I haven't broken any local laws in Canada? What if I murder a lot of French Canadian seperatists?
Houston, we have a problem....
Damn, now we have another 3,000 mile fence to build, just for some measure of protection from Candastan.
JIHAD: THE MUSICAL

We need some new govt legislation in Canada to get these guys into prisons, pronto.
These guys could be especially dangerous to the allies in Iraq because they are 'Canadian', speak english, nice guys, friendly etc.
Last para, editorial in The Jerusalem Post 10/22/05:
We congratulate Merkel as she prepares to assume the chancellorship and hope that under her leadership Germany will help tip Europe toward becoming more of a partner in confronting the Islamist jihad that threatens us all.
...in confronting the Islamist jihad that threatens us all.
Wow I had no idea canada had a use.
A top intelligence officer told rediff.com that while hundreds of terrorists were killed because of the huge buildings crumbling, most others were killed due to massive explosions that took place because of fire breaking out in their ammunition dumps.
"This was nature's way of closing down terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir," the officer said.
According to him, the figure of 3000 was tentative and the number of militants killed could be much more.

It should be relatively easy to ID and collect the Canadian jihadis. They'll be the ones wearing L.L. Bean boots, red and black plaid woolen coats, and matching hats with ear flaps.
Sorry, when a visual pops into my head, I have to share it.
Allah Akbar ya hoser!
And some back-bacon and a beer, eh.
Or a Tim Hortons double-double with a maple glazed doughnut, eh?
"This was nature's way of closing down terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir," the officer said."
I like nature. Nature is best!
1. Traitors:
Hard-core Islamists are loyal to Islam above all else. The western democracies are interpreted by Islamists in the modern context to be land granted to them by Allah for their free use, for the purpose of establishing Islam (Koran, 24:55), because corruption in the land must be removed (8:73). Certainly, our western lifestyle is viewed as "corruption on earth" and is strictly punishable by death. Western governments need to wake up to the fact that these archaic notions are still official policy today for hard-core Islamists. The Canadian government is at least talking tough on this issue of the traitors (i.e., regarding what to do if those jihadists try to come back), but they have a poor track record. If Canadian intelligence people know where the jihadists are, maybe Canada should go beyond just communicating this information to our allies (which I'm sure they've already done), and step up to the plate and send in a special forces unit. If the jihadists make it back alive, they should be charged for treason.
2. Multi-culturalism:
My impression as a Canadian is that overall we value multiculturalism, but not to the exclusion of other considerations, and not as an overriding ethical principle. Human rights and freedoms, the laws of the land, and the security of ourselves and our allies, override it. The overwhelming opposition (something like 95%) to proposed sharia-style family law arbitration, recently, indicates that most Canadians do not confuse ethics with issues allegedly pertaining to multiculturalism. The relativistic multiculturalism argument--more of an empty appeal than a real argument--was advanced by proponents of sharia, but it was rejected.
The day I can't have coffee and donoughts with Jen at Tim Horton's is the day I blow up myself on a mosque. That's just common sense and plain reasoning. Every Canadian would understand it. but too many Canadias seem to think that all self-exploding people are the same, that they have legitimate grievences. Well, cut off my head if I'm worng but I don't somehow see that Palestnian "rights" are anything important like having Tim Horton's coffee with Jen. I can only conclude that some people are really, you know, in the head.
Coffee time, folks.
These radicals could've committed themselves to helping millions of their starving, freezing brethren in earthquake-stricken Pakistan. But nooooooo, they instead chose to pick fights with infidels and insist to the 62% of Iraqis voting on their constitution that the Canadian Muslims know better than them how Iraq should be run.
