If you have not read the entire article, please do. This warmed my heart, in a way. We on JW/DW should remember, no matter how violent they can be, no matter how evil, in the end they are just stupid. Their ideas make no sense. The only way they can succeed is by relentless indoctrination. Of the non-indoctrinated, only young fools will follow them, and eventually they will realize how stupid it all is.

Different tactic. In case Muslims are still confused or unsure whether becoming jihadis and committing murder for their god is Islamically-sanctioned or not, Yasin can make up their minds for them by convincing them they are being victimised and must hit back. That we deserve it, because of what we do to them. This man is scum and needs to be removed from our country.
Problem with our anti-terror laws, is they would not affect scum like Yasin. He doesn't come right out and say to anyone to commit a terrorist attack. He just plants the seed, with this victimhood crap. Waters it, nurtures it with rubbish about how they are being targeted and oppressed. A Muslim already fed on hatred and intolerance towards the West, and contempt for this country, from day one, is already primed, on the edge. Yasin just gives them an added push. And does so, using and abusing our freedom of speech, and skirting around anti-terror laws which need something far more specific and direct to consider as terror-incitement.
Most of us will agree that Islam is a primitive ideology not worthy of much interest in itself. But that's not the point of Islam. Its point IS its stupidity, the very idiocy of the ideology. The benefit to those who like that sort of thing is its powerful irrationality, its complete flight from reality into the realms of idiocy. Look at Islam and one will see it is an orthopraxy rather than an orthodoxy: it's a matter of practicing right rituals rightly, of shaving ones arse on the right days and the right ways, and be damned what one thinks or how one acts. Every little bit of Human behaviour is regulated myopically and every bit of critical inquiry is thrown out at the same time. The stupider the practice the better it is for the fool who will believe anything. It's the celbration of Irrationality and the substituton of ritual in its place, a sterile and mindless Gormenghast.
It becomes interesting in an entomological way when one looks at the philobarbarism of the fascist dhimmi Left. The True Believers of Communism, supposed Rationalists and materialists, having gone right round the bend, have met up with the True Believers of post-modernist fascist Irrationalism and are pulling us all into an orgy of nihilism and relativist idiocy that is only comfortable with Islam itself. And the appeal to all concerned is Romance, primitivism, sentimentality, and the joy of being as crazy as one can be. How crazy is that? They blow up themselves for Allah! Bugs.
And we have the Left falling over themselves to support it. The middle class, hooked on horoscopes, runes, tarot cards, health food fads, and any and seemingly every idiot irrationalist fads that comes around, chanting in crowds against America, Modernity, the West, claim that Islam is a religion of peace. The stupider Yasin is the more support he'll get from those who reject reason and rationality. The whole point of doing so is to flee reality. The further the flight the better. People will line up to buy shares in this crook's outfit. He'll keep getting richer. And the worse and more obviously creepy and stupid and criminal he is the better for him. There's no argument on Earth that will defeat this guy and the Muslim fascists or thire dhimmi fawners. There is the reason of force. It is, for the irrational the only convincing argument there is.
I saw this particular story yesterday morning and I have to agree that this guy embodies almost everything that is stupid about Islamism. It's exactly the same kind of ant-like mentality that sends nations marching into expansionist wars and massacring and enslaving populations.
The trouble is that here in my wide, brown homeland (where the new anti-terror laws have done more to give Muslims something to b*tch about than curb incitement to violence) there is very little that can be done to stop him and you'll see from the reactions of his Australian colleagues-to-be that they don't seem to be terribly concerned about the absence of his U.K. facilities, his lack of qualifications or the lengthy trail of b*llsh*t he leaves behind him everywhere he goes.
Time and time again I wonder why his fellow Muslims don't realize that he's a criminal, a fraud and a rabble-rouser and ridicule and dismiss him accordingly? For all the talk about there being a tiny minority of extremists that pervert Islam, and Yasin would fit the bill, he doesn't get shouted down or condemned by his fellow Muslims. The only condemnations seem to come from non-Muslims. I saw a video of him preaching to his flock. The camera panned around the audience a bit. No agitated listeners, nobody standing up and denouncing him. He was also on a forum on the tv where he said some things that weren't too kosher, and some of his fellow Muslims looked a bit uncomfortable. But I'm sure that was only because he was so open, and that all Australia would hear what he said. I'm sure they'd rather keep that sort of speech behind closed doors. They can't denounce him. He has the Koran and basic tenets on his side.
Waleed Aly - yes, the nice, charming Melbourne lawyer, and talking head for Islam. Western appearance when on TV, speaks in an educated, well modulated voice, darling of the lefties and naive twits in the churches who view him as proof of their fantasy that Islam is moderate and nice and no threat.
Yet Waleed Aly disagrees with the term 'moderate Muslim'. Says that's a Western invention (and he's right). Aly says "to be labelled a moderate Muslim is offensive in the way it is to be called a moderate intellect. It carries with it the connotation that one's faith is somehow diluted. In brief - Some months ago Australian model was arrested in Indonesia. She claims that she "reverted" to Islam about a year ago. She still works as a model, she was arrested in a Bali nightclub without her hijab and, it is alleged, with two tabs of ecstasy in her handbag. It is also alleged that she has since tested positive for the same.

The first conclusion that suggests itself is that she's just full of sh*t and having seen what happened to Schapelle Corby wants to get the locals onside.
That would be fair enough but there is another, more distrubing possibility. She could actually be sincere. The way that Islam is sold by the mainstream media, coupled with a desire to be seen "rooting for the underdog" can make Islam appealing to some. The softly spoken apologists make pretty speeches about Iberian idealism, simple virtuousnes and the way women are "treated like queens" and (with some dimwits and defects) it actually sinks in. Some ill-informed "reverts" jump into the Islamic boat.
The trouble with these . . . I don't know what you should call them, "champagne muslims" maybe (or perhaps "model muslims" after Ms. Leslie). The trouble with this kind of Muslim convert is that they run around for a while, trying the patience of their fellow Muslims, still hanging out with their already at least slightly leftist friends telling them how bloody wonderful it is to wear cloth on your head and make time five times a day to tell Allah how cool you think he is. I don't know how long this goes on for (I imagine it usually lasts until hubby takes her back to Dar Al-Islam) but by the time you get around to meeting one of these vacuous, lefty friends of theirs and the subject of Islam comes up they "knew a Muslim once - and they were really nice."
Many of us have known nice Muslims, there are nice Muslims but the fact that there are nice Muslims doesn't make Islam nice.

No, Razor, I am extremely cynical about her being Muslim. I think that is a legal strategy only. She seems to be one of those out-of-touch-with-the-real-world, ditzy, Beautiful People types who can't fathom that bad things happen to people like her. Her boyfriend looks quite non-Muslim to me - Scott Sutton, and apparently she's making wedding plans despite her precarious legal position. I thought that Muslim men could marry non-Muslim women, but not the other way around. Plus, would a Muslim woman model in just body paint? Somehow I doubt it.
She's seen how bizarre the whole system is in Indonesia, and this is her tactic.

Force does not have to be the only argument. Separation of the West from the muslim world is a far better argument. You will be surprised at the number of "moderate" muslims who "come out", once such a policy comes into effect. In fact the vast majority of muslims, given the choice of leaving for dar ul islam or becoming Christian, will become Christians.
If Turkey ever becomes a EU member, Western civilisation is doomed. By the time Turkey joins there will be a 100 million Turks. That does not include people of Turkish ethnicity who live in regions East of Turkey extending even into China, and have the right to be Turkish citizens. In addition, by the time Turkey joins, there will be some 40 million muslims in Europe i.e., even if immigration is completely stopped. Thus Europe will have about 140 million muslims. Assumimg a EU population of 400 million, muslims will comprise some 26% of the total population of the EU. Given the demographic growth rate of muslims, this fraction will double in 20 years. Thus is a time of just 35 years, muslims will be majority in the EU.
Now if muslims are uniformly distributed in the EU, then every nation's parliament will have a muslim majority and consequently, virtually all PMs or presidents of EU nations will be a muslim. The consequences of such an outcome are apparant to anyone who has given the matter any thought.
Frankly, I do not see any other choine left. It is either to separate from islam and start enacting policies that are islam unfrendly, thus encouraging muslims to leave, or the demise of the most unique civilisation in history ie one that puts the individual rather then a tribe or religious adherence at the centre.
If such a policy ever came about, it will prevent a civil war within Europe, which as history has repeatedly shown, will become a global war, with countless million casualties. It will also give a major incentive for the reformation of islam, in effect its abandonment.

Yes, without a doubt. I have known literally dozens within the Australian Lebanese, Turkish and Bosniak communities. I'd have no problem at all describing the majority of them as "nice" (at least "nice" to me - a bit antisocial at times towards others, however).
Of course, I never probed deep enough to uncover any disturbing "secrets". Indeed I had no reason to even suspect anything. (This was all well before 9.11.)
But the problem really isn't as grave at the individual level. Put them in a crowd - or a "community" - however, and the problems quickly become apparent.
I did a course about Islam once.
The woman who taught it was a very nice, very friendly woman. That is except for the time when she asked me why I wanted to learn about Islam, and I replied that I wanted to know about the enemy.
She then gave me the dirtiest hate-filled look that I have ever seen, and I realised that for her, and I guess all muslims, Islam comes first.
