US judge to keep Qaeda suspect's confessions

Ahmed Omar Abu Ali doesn't get to play the torture card. From Reuters, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (Reuters) - A federal judge on Monday denied a request by a U.S. citizen, who has been charged with plotting to kill President George W. Bush, to throw out confessions he signed while in Saudi custody when he claims he was tortured.

U.S. District Judge Gerald Bruce Lee issued two brief orders denying requests by Ahmed Abu Ali, 24, to throw out the confessions he signed and to dismiss the case.

No taqiyya in a Western courtroom.

They might have made him watch previews of Al-BBCeera's new arabic language channel. That'd make his eyes water...

I hear BBC signed Mohammed Bakri to do a Jerry Springer type show from Lebanon.

Sorry that should be Omar (The Dream) Bakri. My apologies to Mohammed.

I hate to say this, but it's only a matter of time before one of these Jihadist court trials is attacked.

President Bush on TV now, telling us how jihad is "distorted". aaaarrrgggghhhh!

There is a contradiction here between the usual sweetly saccharine drivel that you hear about the wonderful way of life, tolerance, essential democracy and love of peace of the Arab world and what this prisoner said. Here he is accusing an Arab government of torturing honest folk like himself. But the usual pro-Arab line does not say that. Only Israel tortures, according to the ism and the other brain-washed baboons. But here is a valiant Islamic revolutionist and freedom-fighter [fighting for the Freedom of Islam to oppress everybody else] who says that Arabs torture. Why doesn't the anti-Israel crowd get together to protest his lie? Or if he's not lying? Does the ism's failure to protest his lie mean 1) that they really agree that Arab govts torture; or 2) that they support Islamic terrorists [and all their complaints about Israel are mere pretexts for smearing Israel]? Now, if the ism gang says, Yes, the conservative Arab govts do torture, then we might ask why they collaborate so closely with the late Arafat's "Palestinian Authority," now under Abu Mazen's supervision. After all, the PA is notorious for torturing prisoners [who are almost all fellow Arabs] and several prisoners have died in jail under torture, not to mention those taken out of jail by Fatah gangsters --without resistance by the "police" or "security" forces of the PA for protecting law and order and due process of justice-- and shot dead, mutilated, for allegedly being traitors or what not. Further, the PA and Abu Mazen cooperate closely with the Egyptian govt, perpetrators of the alleged torture, as does Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. Now, since ism works closely with the PA and Fatah, who work closely with Egypt, doesn't that make ism guilty of collaboration with torturers [torturers of Arabs no less]? Or is this prisoner lying? Would a noble Islamist lie? But if he is lying, then why don't the ism and the Nation magazine and other fellow travelers of Jihad protest his lie --and condemn him for besmirching the noble and splendid Islamic civilization? After all, if he is telling the truth, then they are collaborating with torturers. And if he is lying, does that mean that Arabs and Islamists lie for the sake of expediency? Then, how can we be sure of anything that they say? Or do ism and the Nation, etc., merely mean to cover up for the Arab Nazis and Islamofascists, no matter what they do, and that, therefore, they must overlook whatever Arabs say against each other?

I know it's all very complicated. But think about it.
