The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, the Fatah's military wing, expressed in a leaflet published Sunday its identification with the remark of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who called to "wipe Israel off the map."The Palestinian news agency Maan reported that in the leaflet, the Brigades stressed its "Identification with and overall support of the position and declaration of the Iranian President, who called with all honesty to wipe Israel off the map of the world."
The leaflet also said that "We stress our support of the Iranian president's position toward the fictitious Zionist state, which will disappear with the help of Allah."
Of course, no surprise. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have had their homes destroyed, many of those homes in land that is now called "Israel". Of course they are going to feel, out of what is a perfectly ordinary desire for justice, that the Israeli's should suffer the same fate or at the very least, return what has been stolen.

Leaving aside the absurd "statistics" ("hundreds of thousands of houses" etc.), the poster above fails to address the obvious: that of course Muslim Arabs, whether they have been carefully renamed "Palestinians" or not, will naturally share, and reflect, the attitudes that are shared by all Muslim Believers to the extent that they are Believers. The relentless Jihad against Israel was only the first local manifestation: first in time because, with limited resources before the OPEC oil money, and the introduction of large numbers of Muslims into the Bilad al-kufr, and then with the Western technological advances that have been appropriated and exploited by Muslims to spread their own view of thye universe, the Greater Jihad is now underway. That the Israelis were too desirous not to draw attention to the Islamic source of the Arab refusal to contemplate an Infidel nation-state such as Israel on land once ruled by Muslims because they sought allies in Kemalist Turkey and Pahlavi Iran, that many of them were also ignorant and wilfully remained ignorant of Islam (possibly out of fear for what they might discover -- which is that the war waged on them has no end, and can only, like Islam itself throughout the world, only be contained and constrained indefinitely, while attempts are made to win away the most thoughtful of those born into Islam, and divide and demoralize the rest).
It is not that Al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigade, or Hezbollah, or Hamas, or Laskar Jihad, or Gemaa Islamiyya, or any of a thousand other groups and groupuscules, fully share the expressed desire of Ahmadinejad. It is that the desire itelf makes, from the viewpoint of Islam, not merely eminent sense, but makes the only conceivable sense. How could any devout Believer possibly contemplate the existence of an Infidel nation-state smack in the middle of Dar al-Islam? Of course he can't, no matter what temporary plausible smiles are offered to win concessions here and there and everywhere.

A very valid point. The conduct of Arab governments is disgraceful (Interestingly, note that UBL's and others primary objective is the overthrow of corrupt Arab gov'ts as mentioned in his interviews and other reports).
However, why should other Arab countries have to integrate refugees? If someone comes and kicks us out of our homes, should our neighbors be forced to take us in? Isn't justice that the homes should be returned to us? There are tens of thousands of Palestinians who still have the keys and land and title deeds to their homes in what is now "Israel". They should be given justice and until that is done, I do not think that there is any hope for M.E peace. Keep in mind that the cancer of Israeli settlements is rapidly spreading in the West Bank and more and more Palestinians are having their homes demolished and land confiscated under false pretexts. The only reason that Gaza was evacuated was because the theft of the land was impractical due to population and security considerations...i.e: too densely populated.
The Palestinians are going to get their land back sooner or later and it might as well be sooner because this whole mess is getting messier and messier.

Gary, I am referring to the specific time when the Muslims under Caliph Omar took Jerusalem (with no bloodshed). At that time, Jews were banned by the Christians from the Holy Land and only afterwards were they allowed back in again by the Muslims.

The Muslims who inhabited the land which is now Israel were mostly nomadic tribes of Bedouin. When the Jews started coming in the early 30s fleeing from Hitler, Arabs started trying to outnumber them, most "Palestinians" are actually ethnic Egyptians and Jordo-Syrians.
The flight of the Arabs is actually in the most part down to the Arabs themselves. In the late 40s an Arab radio station tried to get Arabs to take up arms against the Jewish people by reporting on fictitious massacres of Arabs by Jews. This backfired badly when many Arabs, true to their mature, simply packed up what they could get on a donkey cart and set off back home to Egypt and Jordan!

Just for the record, there ARE good muslims. They are called Druze and there are approximately 1.2 million of them in existence. They do NOT believe in converting everyone else. They do NOT believe in Jihad. And they are loved by Jews all across the world for their bravery in combat and their superb loyalty to their country, Israel.
