Egypt and EU Give Ammo and Training to PA as Attacks Continue

The EU continues not to realize that by aiding the PA they are feeding the jihad that is biting them. From Israel National News, with thanks to Twostellas:

Arab attacks continue and the IDF carries out arrest operations of wanted terrorists almost nightly as Egypt and the European Union announce they will be providing ammunition and training to the PA....

Throughout Judea and Samaria, IDF troops arrested 20 wanted terrorists during the night, as well.

In the Balata slums of Shechem, terrorists opened fire at soldiers. There were no injuries and soldiers returned fire.

Gunfire was reported by an Israeli motorist near the Jewish town of Kiryat Arba. The driver reported shots fired in his direction at the Okfim Junction to the IDF, which arrived at the scene and launched a search for the shooter.

Following the government-ordered opening of the Erez crossing to enable Israeli Arabs to visit relatives in Gaza, the bag of an Israeli Arab citizen exploded as he was crossing from Gaza into mainland Israel. No injury or damage was reported in the incident, which was the result of American pressure to open the Gaza crossings despite promises to Israeli citizens that the Disengagement would mean separation from Gaza's hostile Arab population....

The Palestinian Authority security forces, many of whom either moonlight as members of various terror organizations or were hired directly from their ranks as part of negotiations between the groups and the ruling Fatah militia, will be receiving new ammunition over the next few days, including rifle bullets – paid for by the United States and delivered from Egypt with the approval of PM Sharon's cabinet.

Last week, the cabinet also approved the deployment of European Union (EU) personnel to oversee the border between Gaza and Egypt at Rafiach.

And just in case the lack of PA confrontation with terror groups operating in Gaza has been due to lack of snipers, the European Union has announced the launching of a three-year program to train the Palestinian Authority's quasi-army, saying that the PA needs a "credible police force."

I'm trying to collect links documenting money from the EU used to funding Palestinian terrorism. If somebody has some good links, please post them here:

CLASS CAN WE SAY "STUPID"...................

Stupid: Lacking intelligence or common sense.

Dazed and unable to think clearly.

ORIGIN: mid 16th cent: from French stupide or Latin stupidus.

The Right Word

You can call the person stupid, a term that implies a sluggish, slow-witted lack of intelligence.

The Egyptians likely are hoping that this will keep the Islamists at home happy enough not to be destroying the tourist trade. As for the EU, perhaps the Oslo Syndrome isn't only a Jewish/ Israeli phenom:

"Live by the sword, die by the sword," so goes that old saying. Trite or not, it contains an element of truth. Our so-called pacifistic 'allies' across the pond have been ever-so-sneakily living by the sword by proxy in Israel through the PA. Too bad they paid no heed to this particular bromide--it might have saved western European lives.

Yet the EU's victims in Israel have been upholders of democracy and Judeo-Christian values and principles. Their accomplices have been clear-cut enemies of democracy and Judeo-Christianity--yes, the Muslims.

My guess is Western Europe is going to die by the sword in front of our very eyes, very soon.

Western Europe's recent de facto abdication of Christianity and democracy hasn't helped matters either.

EU: RIP.

Robert you said:

Then even embolded in the article

rifle bullets – paid for by the United States and delivered from Egypt with the approval of PM Sharon's cabinet.

Which is it, the EU or the US with the approval of Sharon?

Disgust.

Nariz:

Are you at all familiar with the terms of the Oslo Accords? The Israelis were ordered, among other things, to train and arm the PA's "police".

Did you think for even half a second that Sharon has any doubt in his mind that these arms will be turned against Israelis?

Now that the Palestinians [sic] finally have their state, can we continue to name their anti-Semitic bloodlust terrorism?

Now let's not be too harsh here.

If we can't expect the EU (or America, ftm) to have a grip on reality on its home shores, how can expect them to do so in a confusing venue like Judea? Delusion begets delusion, no?

The fact of the matter is it's Israel's own fault for allowing this to take place in the first place. Yassir Sharon has done more to compromise the safety and well being of the Jewish State than anyone could ever have imagined.

There is a real possibility that early elections will be called in Israel because Sharon's cabinet appointments were rejected in a knesset vote yesterday, with many in his own party siding with the opposition.

If that happens, if new elections are called, the nationalist camp will increase their knesset representation by a large margin according to the polls, which means Sharon and his appeasement buddies could have some big problems passing dhimmi legislation in the near future.

How much Israeli blood is on the EU's hands? I'm begining to see the "you get what you deserve" attitude of the other posters concerning the jihad-I mean the "youth riots"

The EU has been stabbing us, Israel, in the back for a long time. Now, Arab terrorism and jihad are coming to Europe again after a respite of 200 years or so. But I see that some important EU leaders really don't care about their own people. And I thought it was only us Jews who were intended victims.

The Europeans need to get rid of leaders and officials like Chirac, Javier Solana, Chris Patten, and probably Tony Blair and Romano Prodi too, if they are going to defend themselves in their own homes.

Patten reacted to the proposal [in the EU Strasbourg parliament] for an investigation into whether EU funding of the palestinian authority was being used for terrorism or for hate indoctrination, by saying: I need an investigation like I need a hole in the head. And before that I had believed that he already had a hole in his head.
