AMSTERDAM — A shot was fired recently at the window of the office used by Immigration and Integration Minister Rita Verdonk. She was not there at the time.Weapons experts attached to the Defence Ministry think the shot was fired at the office in the Justice Ministry complex in The Hague from a nearby building, RTL Nieuws reported on Thursday evening. Sources in the Hague confirmed the story.
It is not clear when the shot was fired and when the incident was first detected. The window of her office was said to be damaged.
RTL claimed that as a result of the shooting incident, Verdonk wore a bullet-proof vest when she attended a commemoration for filmmaker Theo van Gogh on Wednesday.

Two members of Parliament, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Geert Wilders, forced to be accompanied by a half-dozen guards everywhere, changing residences, even sleeping in army barracks. Rita Verdonk, the current Immigration and Integration Minister, forced to wear a bullet-proof vest after a bullet is fired by way of warning into her office window. And that is just a small part of what the most tolerant and relaxed and easy-going country in the world, Holland, is now experiencing because, like the rest of Western Europe, it did not investigate Islam before allowing into its Infidel midst, hundreds of thousands of Muslims.
Everywhere that Muslims live near or next to non-Muslims there are problems. It does not matter if those non-Muslims are Catholics, or Protestants or Greek or Russian or Serbian Orthodox, it does not matter if they are Sephardic Jews or Ashkenazi Jews, it does not matter which caste of Hindus they belong to, or whether they are members of a scheduled caste at all, it does not matter if they are Theravada Buddhists or another kind, if they are Confucians, if they are agnostics or atheists or anything else, as along as they are not Muslims. These are problems for the non-Muslism, for their safety, their way of life.
This happens in the Western world, and in the non-Western world. It happens in the Sudan, and in Kashmir, as well as in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Rome, and a thousand other places.
That is one way to begin to understand the problem.
Another way is to compare, within the countries of the Western world, that have received so many immigrants under a policy of such unwary tolerance and acceptance, even self-congratulatory promotion of, "diversity" as a Good Thing, the behavior and attitudes of Muslims, as compared to the behavior and attitudes of non-Muslim immigrants. How to Muslims in France, compare in attitudes and behavior to the atttiudes and behavior of black Africans, or black immigrants from the Caribbean? How do they compare to the smaller immigrant groups who also arrived during the past few decades -- Vietnamese, Chinese, Hindus?
And now let's move to Great Britain? How do Muslim attitudes and behavior compare with that of people who may outwardly look the same -- Hindus and Sikhs -- but whose mental makeup is entirely different? Are they the same, or different? If different, different in what ways? And here again one can compare as well Chinese, Vietnmamese, black Christians from the Caribeean or Africa? How do their attitudes and behavior, and chances for "integration" appear -- better or worse than those of the Muslims, from wherever those Muslims come? Could it be that there is something in Islam itself that explains the inabililty of Muslims to "integrate" into Western societies? Could it be that they cannot "integrate" into Western societies without dropping Islam altogether, and that they have no intention of dropping Islam, but rather, in the end, to islamize the societies that they live in? Have Muslims anywhere in the world ceased to try to promote Islam, or its constant expansion? The conquest of the Mughal princes by the British gave India, in the end, back to the Hindus and others who had been subjugated by Muslim rule, and allowed them to re-discover their own history (could one imagine a Muslim equivalent of "Oriental" Jones - Sir William Jones? Of course not -- why would a Muslim take a sympathetic interest in the history of Hindus, much less of Sanskrit?).
These are the questions that Western Europeans, and North Americans, and the rest of the non-Muslim world, have to ask themselves.
Is there something about Islam that makes its adherents immiscible no matter what the proffered mix? Is there reason to believe that even those who outwardly offer no aggression, as long as they retain a filial piety toward Islam that results in their calling themselves Muslim, then there is always the chance that they themselves, or their progenty somewhere in the future, down the genetic line, will revert to "immoderate" from "moderate" Islam?
Yes. And yes.
There is.
This needs to be understood.
There is an historical dualism at work here.
Attain the near-perfect society: wealth, security, art, liberty, the works.
Then, that uneasy feeling starts gnawing at the back of the collective national mind. The body politic, as if in a trance, pulls out the shotgun and pump-blasts double aught buckshot into its own feet: self-loathing, reverse-racism, Moslems, welfare, somnoprop, Orwellian political lexicon, savages hosting portable theocratic states in the heads, the realpolitik of a dangerous fake religion, the works.
The dualistic model flicks the pendulum back the other way, to smack the kind happy white man up side the head. The attained dream was too good to be true; subconsciously the sated Caucasian Man had to destroy it, and what better way than Suicide-by-Moslem?

Hugh I was watching Deutsche Welle (DW TV) this morning talking of the riots in France. A comment was made that early on immigrants were welcomed from No. Africa, unspoken was the reason, a source of cheap labor, especially in France, which had been depopulated by two World Wars. The same of course is true of Germany, only their source of Cheap labor (until the Iron Curtain fell) was Turkey.
Britain brought it on itself, because it colonized the subcontinent, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of unassimalables being allowed access, they would come on visas for schooling and overstay, which is what has been happening in the U.S. like those 40,000 Saudi students who will be coming to the U.S. and then fan out across the nation as cadre for Jihadi/Da'wa cells.

I'm up to his visit to Maylasia- he comments that in the Muslim mind, there is only Islam and the "other", and that the "other" is theirs to inherit, and will continue subsidizing them with labor and Jizyah.

Isn't Verdonk the same Minister who suggested that the way to deal with the Muslim's so-called non-integration was to have every native Dutch citizen with less than an 8th grade education take classes on Islam and Muslim culture? I may be mis-remembering who and what was said -- but I think I'm correct...
If so, it sounds like she is a great multiculturalist spokesperson, and a high priestess and architect of the calamity now facing larger Europe. If so, she's emblematic of the arrogant elite who force feed the EU agenda down the throat of the unrepresented masses...
