More from the Ahmadinejad regime

From Iran Focus:

An ultra-Islamist ally of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran’s parliament told a conference of the radical Ansar-e Hezbollah group on Saturday that the issue of Iran’s nuclear program “has become the frontline between Islam and the Heathens”, referring to non-Muslims.

Haven't Iranian Islamists learned the politically correct term for infidel or heathen yet? The Saudis have suggested the word "other" to be a more tactful label when referring to non-Muslims.

“Nuclear capability is our religious right. We must stand up and fight for it”, the Majlis deputy, Rashid Jalali, said.

“Even if our [nuclear] file is taken to the [United Nations] Security Council we will come through it. We want nuclear energy and we must pay the price”, Jalali said.

Defending the recent threatening remarks against Israel and Arab leaders by President Ahmadinejad, the Majlis deputy from Karaj said, “These comments show our unambiguous position against the occupying regime in Qods (Jerusalem). We had to announce this position”.

That's about as crystal clear as one can get.

Weee want the bomb, we want the bomb, weee want the bomb....

Anybody remember that song?

Ahh. No. Then and there, it was more like "we want the funk we want the funk..."

"Nuclear capability is our religious right." That's a new one "right" to me, but then Muslims the world over seem to have more rights, sensibilities and agitations than the every one else.

Though I consider the Muslim tactics "behind enemy lines" (i.e. when they're in "infidel" lands) to be the height of treachery and villainy -- I must say they're quite plain spoken when it comes to naming their demands, their motives, and their intentions...

It is extremely frustrating to witness the continued somnolence from Westerners who choose to ignore or misinterpret these clear statements of motive and intent....

For me, 9/11 transmuted "Death to America" from a quaint little thing said by a bunch of far away primitive rage filled flag trampling harmless seeming Muslims into a promise by a mortal enemy whose numbers are legion... I had not noticed during the interim between November 1979 and September 2001 that they had infiltrated every level of society in the West, and were actually already knocking on our doorstep...

In a weird way, I have to thank them for their honesty and integrity to speak plainly about what they intend to do, and I also should perhaps thank them for knocking on that fine September day, long long ago....

Geez...the Islamic Bomb...and you know those Muslims don't have a reason to hold back once they have it. Just think, if they manage to destroy Israel, the Mullahs will tell the people that all of Iran has won paradise.

Ah. One of the three "axis of evil"(Iraq, Iran and North Korea)nuts. Remember that speech? It makes Bush more of a prophet than Muhammed ever was!

In fact, the modern chess player’s cry of “Checkmate!” is a corruption of the Persian "Shakh Mati!”, which translates, “The King is dead!” I hope our chess champions have mapped out for immediate implementation an immediate overwhelming defeat of Iran. We need a decapitation strike against the Shah's successors. A pawn defense will lose us the match.

"Just think, if they manage to destroy Israel, the Mullahs will tell the people that all of Iran has won paradise."

If they destroy Israel, they'll have no time to tell the Iranians anything -- they will already be flitting around in Allah's green pastures, roasting in Hell, or not-existing in no where -- the mushroom clouds will still be ascending over tel Aviv when they'll get hit with the real stuff -- the thermonuclear stuff --

I sometimes wonder if the Muzzies are aware there's a class of atomic bomb which uses nuclear bombs just to trigger the things -- I doubt they are aware of the difference between their Islamic bombs, and the ones we (and the Isrealis) brandish...

the axis of evil speach I didnt like for one reason. I dont like north korea. I could care less about them or if we nuked them. But I would never group them with the other two. I dont think they have the same goals as the others. Me and some of my friends felt that they added NOrth Korea to show that there was no muslim bias. I honestly think Bush should of been more blunt and put Pakistan in that group. Or even Saudi Arabia. It seems Pakistan got a Jail out of free card for its Nuclear weapons. I am a lot more scared about a Nuclear armed Pakistan than a Nuclear Armed North Korea. I honestly think if Kim Jong Il dies and they open up democracy can work in Korea. Any Islamic theocracy is beyond hope. I think isolaion or war are the only ways to deal with them.

Regretfully, we must realize that Iran will soon get the bomb. All of their negotiatons are simply a smokescreen while they continue to develop their program. They are committed to it and unless someone forcibly stops them, they wil develop muclear weapons.

For all those people who said it was no big deal if Saddam got the bomb, you will now get to test your theory with Iran. At this point we may be close to crossing the stratic Rubicon. We have to decide if we want to eliminate their capability, or accept the fact that they have it and try and live with it.

Unfortunately the military option would not be as easy as it was for the Israelis when they bombed Iraq's reactor. The Iranians have dispersed their facilities throught Iran and put them in underground, hardened bunkers. Mevertheless, a strike by a few dozen, bunker busting cruise missiles would set the program back significantly,

It would also be a very different operation for the Israelis if they decided to take action. Their jets were flying on fumes on the final leg of their mission back to Israel when they took out the Iraqi reactor. Flying to Iran would be impossible.

The political repercussions from a premptive strike would be significant, so it is unlikely to happen. I do not see any support for this action whatsoever. Therefore, we should be prepared to deal with the consequences of our inaction.

A nuclear Iran is all the more reason that the democracy in Iraq must succeed. This is the only hope of averting a nuclear catastrophe. If the muslim population in Iran can look across the border to Iraq and see a functioning, responsive democracy with halfway sane individuals running it, the vast young population will be encouraged to do the same in Iran. Thos is the only long term solution.

To be real honest with ourselves, Islamic Radicals (and I include the "government" of Iran) will get nuclear capability. al quada or Hesbolla will get theirs as soon as Iran has finished its third weapon.

Then there is the issue of the Pakistani nukes, we have this "ally" in the WOT. But by the force of a perhaps a shaky military he maintains control over the radicals. It probably wouldnt take much to topple his regime in favor of radicalism.

The North Koreans would sell one in a heartbeat I think no matter the buyer, so that is still a card to be played.

The French are so damned close to capitulating, and will be Islamic within a few years anyway. What of their nukes?

So lets not kid ourselves, this is going to get very very messy befor it is all over.

This keeps me up at night. These people have deluded themselves into believing the have a right, no a duty, to destroy the only sane state in the region, then attack my country. And if a few hundred thousand, million of their own get killed, it's okay, they're just in the big whore house in the sky.

Quick everyone!

But it would be quite simple for a couple of USA Stealth Fighters taking off from Iraq.

Does not the "big picture" now become clearer??
