Poso (AsiaNews) – Two men armed with pistols shot point blank at two female students in Poso, central Sulawesi, wounding them in the head at 7:45 pm local time (11:45 GMT am)The new act of violence took place in the same town where three young Christian students were decapitated on October 29. A fourth student was seriously injured in the same attack.
The two 17-year-old victims, “Yuli” Siti Nuraini and Ivone, are in critical conditions, according to Nurhayati, a paramedic. Ivone was hit in the left jaw, whilst Yuli was wounded in the neck. “They were operated at the Poso Hospital where they were taken by police,” the paramedic said.

My prayers go to those young women for a complete and speedy recovery. Of course, the attacks on these two innocent girls won't get any more than a passing mention in the mainstream press than the beheadings of the Christian students last week. Most mainstream journalists are focused on the French Muslim (correction: inpoverished immigrant youths) violent rampages because two teenage boys killed themselves by running into a power station. As always, there are victims and then there are VICTIMS. The true VICTIMS are always Muslims. Non-Muslims are always deserving in some way or other of their fates at the hands of enflamed Muslims. The Christian girls should have walked down another street as to not disturb Muslims in their post-Ramadan celebrations.
