Muslim rioting in Denmark -- worst riots in years

Regardless where you find them, Muslims are revolting.

When you come from nothing, with nothing, and you view yourself and everyone else as nothing.

When you live in a country that is not yours, a house that is not yours, and take a welfare check that you did nothing to get it.

When you will not accept the society you are now in, spit in the face of your host country, and call for the anielation of your host country.

Then you never had honor and it is foreign to you.

What are the true people of Denmark doing? Are they sitting back and watching? Or will we see some of Denmarks finest youth meet these rioters on the street tonite, and make them earn honor?

I still maintain that Jyllands Post made a poor tactical choice in running cartoons of Mohammad instead of benign drawings to challenge the original allegation.

However, the reslutant display of typically irrational Muslim outrage qualifies as a silver lining in this storm.

Looking at the positive side of this rioting (seriously), this may be the wake-up call the Euros need. We can hope, can't we?

When some Muslims complain about their religion being slighted, the entire Islamic world seems to support them. Unfortunately, the same is not the case with the infidels using their freedom of speech. They are too frequently left to fight alone, with little support. This needs to change. The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), with dozens of member states backed by Saudi oil money, is now up against one newspaper and the government of a nation of just above 5 million inhabitants. But what is at stake is nothing less than the very concept of freedom of speech and thus democracy itself, an issue far greater than Denmark. It is totally unacceptable that Muslims try to intimidate the citizens of free nations from speaking their minds, and it is time that this is made clear in no uncertain terms. As an expression of solidarity, you can send in this draft message:

I would hereby like to express my support for the newspaper Jyllands-Posten publishing cartoons of Islam’s prophet Muhammad. Freedom of speech is the lifeblood of a democratic society, and cannot be tampered with. Muslims in Denmark freely exercise this right, even to say things that people in Denmark find greatly offensive. A leading Danish mufti in 2004 said that Danish women not wearing the veil “were asking for rape.” Another imam wanted to import the sharia concept of blood money to Denmark, and pay the equivalent of 100 camels for a man’s life. If Muslims in Denmark think these are acceptable statements, they cannot by any right claim to be offended by a few simple drawings. At least not if they really mean that Islam is compatible with Western democracy. Jyllands-Posten should know that this case is being followed by individuals from all around the world, and that you have the support of thousands of people who don’t want to see their freedom slip away. Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen should also be commended for his clear and principled stand in this case, as Dutch ex-Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali points out. In an age where too many political leaders shy away from defending the basic values of our societies, it serves to Denmark’s credit to have a leader who still possesses a backbone.

I would also like to condemn the actions made by the ambassadors of several Muslims countries in this case, and those of Turkey in particular. The behavior of the Turkish government is incompatible with that of a nation with a desire to become a part of a Western community such as the EU. If Turkey thinks that the EU shouldn’t be a Christian club, than Turkey should respond in kind by withdrawing from all “Islamic clubs” such as the OIC. Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan has earlier stated that anti-Islamism should be viewed as a ”crime against humanity”, has pushed for criticism of Islam to be treated as racism within the EU and is now backing an effort to curtail the freedom of speech of the citizens of an EU nation. These actions are not those of a secular politician such as Ataturk, but more closely mirror the attitude of the Ottoman sultans of old. They indicate that a Turkey within the EU would threaten the freedom of European citizens, and clearly demonstrate that Turkey is not yet ready to become a part of the European community.

The Danes have been arguing about this stuff for at least 15 years. While the tone of most of the published debate has been to the leftist/socialist side, the undertone I read in the original Danish has been tending toward an, "OH, S#!+"!. Still I see a dithering about what to do about it since to face up to the situation offends Danish sensibilities. But, when those same sensibilities are affronted on a large scale, WATCH OUT! Denmark may be the first place in the West that faces up to the dichotomies of the mindsets between themselves and the mohamedans. While we in the U.S. haven't fully awoken to the problem even since September 11th, only knowing that things in mohomedan countries weren't the best, the problem began to reveal itself on that date. Denmark has a jump on it.
My family can bear these things out having lived in these places. We can tell hair-raising stories from Scandinavia dating back to at least '88. Mohamedans in those places are the perpetrators in every single one. Since September 11th the imformation to understand exactly why has become easily available. That is why we all say, "Now I understand all that.".

personally, I think this and the french riots are a good thing..each one a nail in the coffin of turkeys aspiration to join the EU..I hope there'e more and elsewhere too.

You get a mob of Muslims parked in your country, they reckon it's an autonomous caliphate of theirs. That's the way they think. This is the worldwide caliphate in the making, one piece at a time. Their plan is to create so many pieces, that it'll end up joining into one great big entity. When you think about it, this is a far more successful way of getting their caliphate in Western countries. The terrorist stuff just isn't that effective.

Interesting to note, I haven't seen any mention of these Danish riots in our media here. You'd think they'd be reporting everything out of Denmark from now on, given our Mary is their future Queen. And the articles on the French ones focus on the poor dears and their frustrations at being oppressed by the nasty rich French.

The MSM just doesn't want to show the horrendous problems of multiculturalism and uncontrolled immigration. I think you should ask Fjordman about the Norwegians. From what I can read in their writings, I'd say not yet very broadly.
As for the Swedes, they seem to not talk about it at all IF they live in Sweden. When they are ex-pat, in the States, they talk about it when they know you. Criminal activity upon them or someone close to them seems to serve more to wake them up more that anything given their severe political correctness.

Good analogy, Caroline. There are a lot of us kids who see this reality. Not only do we see the Emperor is naked but we see he is covered in pustulent sores and festering boils, and is really not a nice Emperor at all, but rather a hideous, dangerous monster.
