The perspicacious Nidra Poller assesses the prospects for Europe as dhimmitude appears to be dawning for France:
PARIS -- As the Eurabian Nights' dream starts exploding in the face of France, mainstream media are counting the number of torched cars and explaining that the rioters suffer from poverty and discrimination. It would seem that Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy ignited this unprecedented wave of violence by calling the rioters "la racaille" and promising to clean up the lost territories of the Republic. "Racaille" (pronounced rack-eye'-eh) is almost too good to translate. It means everything from bully to two-bit Mafioso, with connotations of thuggery, thievery, racketeering, and sleaze. La racaille is a gangsta class of knife-wielding bad guys who steal from their classmates, prey on their neighbors in the 'hood, and victimize honest citizens everywhere. Junior racaille work protection rackets in their schools, steal cars and motorcycles, and rape girls to keep them in line, Islamically speaking. Senior racaille pimp, deal drugs, and carry guns. As it turns out, the guerilla troops that are trying to burn down the Republic are something more dangerous than the racaille they've enlisted in their battle.A reporter interviews a man standing in front of a mosque in full Islamist regalia and politely relays his complaints. Do readers know that these offended Islamists are calling for the de-Zionization of France? And the defeat of the United States of America? No offense meant there! Do readers understand that the banlieues are being shaped into a foreign and hostile nation?
Many commentators prefer to focus on testimony of discrimination. A man on the street named Mohamed swears that even if you have a college degree, you can't get a decent job if your name is Mohamed. But Azouz Begag, who grew up in a bidonville, a real shanty town outside of Lyon, has a doctorate in sociology. And he is not working as a delivery boy. He is a minister in the French government or, to be exact, an "assistant" minister… in charge of "the promotion of equal opportunity." And he agrees with a lot of other Mohameds that the problems are unemployment, discrimination, and the harsh words of Sarkozy. The same Azouz Begag saw no harm in the creation of a virulently anti-Semitic fifth-column political party called France-Palestine. According to our eminent sociologist, who has fully benefited from equal opportunity, this was a healthy outlet for "immigrants" to express their grievances and aspirations. Nothing to get upset about.
Whatever Begag says, the enraged mobs are not listening to him. He is discredited by the very fact of being in the government. So much for integration. He was already discredited when he got good grades in school, wrote popular children's books, dressed in a suit and tie…and, don't forget, Azouz is not named Mohamed. He is Kabyl.
Read it all.
So much for assimilation. Perhaps the reason these "youths" cant get jobs is because they consider themselves muslims first and French second, with all the inherent baggage that implies.
Wanton burning and attacking of everything in sight is pure thuggery and lacks even a iota of 'cause'; they are doing it because it is the only thing they are good at.
The french government is going to pour resources into the worst areas and sell their souls in the process. The message has already been sent and was heard loud and clear: if we dont like what youre doing, we will attack and get what we want.
So, France is doomed. Jihad Watchers have been predicting the demise of France for months now. We just didn't think it would happen so soon.
I personally thought the Netherlands would go under first.
It is very hard to take any pleasure in being right about such a terrible situation.
I must admit that I am obsessed with the situation in France. I can't think about anything else. What a disaster this is for Western civilization.
How can a former Superpower, a country that had a huge empire, fall so low? How can a country like France be so ineffectual in defending itself?
In 1979, France could send paratroops to Mecca to bail out Saudi Arabia after the Grand Mosque was taken over by Osama's predecessors. Now, France can't stop a few thousand teenagers?
Only recently France sent 4,000 soldiers to act as peacekeepers in the Ivory Coast. They are still there. Why aren't they in France?
How can this nation which has given the world so many positive things have sunk so low?
So now Europe may be on the verge of collapse. Great. WWII type dilenma, we can go over and fight, or hunker down in Fortess America. I prefer the former, anyone disagree?
I havent given up on the euros yet, the french are in deep shiite, but others such as the Danes are showing resistance.
I agree Mentat, I too am obsessed with the situation and am waiting to see if the true spark of war ignites itself. A few cops butchered in the streets and this is going to go into a frenzy.
It seems like the french have just given up, even their own police officers are saying they need the army. Bomb factories are being discovered, machine guns are being toted around, there is evident regional cooperation between rioters....this has all the hallmarks of a pre-planned event. And there are five million potential recruits to choose from.
Would it be too outrageous to suggest that a political coup might be in the offing? If this goes on much longer, it will not be salvageable.
The Interior Minister had every right to call the rioting Mohammedans thugs. Those thugs who started the fight are in no position to demand that Sarkozy step down. He should put his foot in their asses.
The Louvre is burning.
I honestly hope Sarkozy becomes the next French President. Sarkozy and Merkel... That could help stem the horde.
Amazing to see the French eat merde in the face of a minor skirmish in this war.
My guess is that many of the present politicians in France will suffer for their dhimmi responses to this direct challenge, this islamic insurgency.
The role of the press in this insurrection has been totally scandalous; you would hardly know muslims were involved at all, and, to the extent they are, the poor babies just wanted a little love and attention.
Khan: Are you kidding me?! My God this really is the end of Western Civlization.
It's positively comical the kind of spin that the liberal media are putting on this in the UK, looking down their noses at the French and upholding their wonderful multi-culti experiment while conveniently forgetting the race riots that took place in Birmingham not so long ago. "Sarko" is getting a hammering everywhere in the press but, unsurprisingly, the ordinary French citoyens think a hard line should be taken.
That’s a pretty funny article. I really find it hard to take the material here seriously. The false stories about the piggy banks and the kid being punished for stealing bread!
I've read the posts on JW with great interest. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. It’s strange, I doubt people like you are taken seriously in the US, now I know for sure that if you were to bring any of these weak stories to the UK or anywhere in Europe you would be humiliated and disgraced.
Those rioting in France are nothing but thugs, boys going out for a thrill. Its funny as people here see this as an 'Islamic' uprising!
How many Muslim's aren't rioting? That’s just too bad for you lot.
Case closed.
I'm sure the people here support equal rights for all, even those that happen to be Muslim.
"Would it be too outrageous to suggest that a political coup might be in the offing?"
ha ha ha
"So now Europe may be on the verge of collapse. Great. WWII type dilenma, we can go over and fight, or hunker down in Fortess America."
ha ha ha
This is too much

I suppose you will run & hide yet again if I start asking the same questions you have meticulously avoided over the past 2 weeks.?
If the French Intafada is not about Muslims, then why are the French Authorities only talking to local Mosques in an effort to quell the insurgency?
Its a fair question. You have been asked fair questions before. You run everytime.
Please fell free to dismiss this again, & call me a raxcist again, & a bigot again, & a fascist again.
I expect nothing but crass name calling from you.
ia;
Lets peel this onion back one more layer and get past the merry-go-round.
Enlightened man, Modern man, is still the exception rather than the rule in this still very brutish world. Modern man is the rider saddled to the Fascist beast. He must fight against the Fascist impulse whether it wears jackboots and a uniform, a turban, or the tie-dyed shirt of the anti-globalist. He must defend himself against both the Fascists desire to destroy him in favor of a "purer" way, and the PC guilt of his own who allow themselves to listen to the siren-song of a future utopia, forever delayed by Modern man's sins.
This is France today. Unfortunately the latter has paralysed it from dealing with the former.
The rioters hate France for what she is, and themselves because they cannot escape the realization that they desire her. They loathe what they love and the schizophrenic nature
has made them turn to an orgy of redemptive violence.
IA
Black / brown, why make this an issue of race, when clearly this is a Muslim uprising?
You must see between the lines of the AlBBCeera reporting on this - the small mention in usually the second to last paragraph that always states that the Authorities are only talking to local Mosques to qwell the violence.
They are not talking to Buddhists, Methodists or Sikhs or Christian immigrants.
Thank you for your subtle acceptance that I am not a racist / fascist or bigot, just an English Democratic who does not believe in Multiculturalism as a way forward for any society. Immigrants must accept the identity of the host & actually engage with the heritage, culture & identity of the nation they have chosen to set up shop in.
That does not mean that they must surrender their religion or beliefs or traditions, but they must accept that vying for prefernetial treatment over & above everyone else is not on.
The Incitement to Religious Hatred Bill is going to make tensions between all camps in the UK more difficult - as only Muslims want this law in an apparent attempt to stifle & strangle debate with regards to Islam in the UK.
I for one will think twice before writing what I believe here in future if this Bill passes - it would be foolish not to with the vindictive & appeasing nature of New Labour.
& therein lies the danger. If people perceive that this bill has been introduced to appease the MCB, folks like me will take a dim view of the limits to the free speech our forefathers secured for us.
I agree, Ian Wright lacks experience but maaaaaaann, any England team would play for him with passion & heart. He does inspire that, & in my opinion that is more important than cold, sterile, Volvo-esque thinking.

Your response speaks volumes. Not only are you an apologist, you are stark, raving clueless about the reality of mankind. The antiglobalists are really the brave forces of antifascism, right? I'll try not to engage you again, but I'm human, and sometimes I just can't resist.

Please supply details of the posts you have had censored. As far as I am aware, the standard for posting is quite clearly stated at the top of the comments section.
Only those that break those rules would be censored.
Which one did you break, if any, & on which threads?
Making blanket accusations plays into the hands of those here who believe you are a Western Hating Liberal as it truly fits the MO.
I do not believe that you have been censored here because of your opposing view - it clearly would not be in the site's, or the cause's interest.
If you provide evidence of censorship because of your point of view, & not because you broke the rules, I like many others here would be very disappointed & tell the Webmaster so on your behalf.
Mmmkay?

Being censored & being banned are totally different.
Trust you to twist it.
Enjoy your exile, I am sure we will.
It was getting dull defeating & exposing you at every turn anyway.
All the best old son

Raising the fact that not all French Muslims are rioting as an argument that there is no religious inspiration behind the violence is hardly a compelling argument. I'm sure you are fully aware that France has had to deport a number of radical imams and impose standards of education and conduct on those who remain in order to combat all sorts of social problems in the Muslim community, including domestic violence as well as address concerns about terrorist activities. Those imams were not self-identified proslityzers, but rather stalking horses sent to France by one or the suspect "defenders of the faith" Middle Eastern nations. Get over your state of denial already.
From Melanie Phillilps's Nov. 4 on-line diary entry, Eurabia on the Rampage:
"In line with routine contemporary moral inversion, in which the perpetrators of violence are excused and their victims blamed instead by an alliance of Muslims and western decadents (Britain was blamed for the July bombings of its citizens because of Iraq) the French authorities are being blamed for fanning the flames of discontent by discriminating against the country’s Muslims. Should we also blame the Danes for refusing to accept self-censorship and asserting their own values of freedom of expression? Is every country to be held responsible for the jihad being waged against it - despite the fact that in every case the alleged provocation is different — rather then responsibility being properly assigned to those who have declared war upon the free world?
"Much of the coverage of the Paris riots has blamed the policies of France’s Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy for abandoning French Muslims inside squalid ghettoes and failing to integrate them. But as Robert Spencer points out, it is the Muslims themselves who insist on not being integrated. In her book Eurabia, Bat Ye’Or details
a series of agreements between the European Union and the Arab League that guaranteed that Muslim immigrants in Europe would not be compelled in any way to adapt ‘to the customs of the host countries.’
'The European Union has implemented such recommendations for decades — so far from playing down the differences between ethnic groups, they have instead stood by approvingly while immigrants formed non-assimilated Islamic enclaves within Europe. Indeed, as Bat Ye’or demonstrates, they have assured the Arab League in multiple agreements that they would aid in the creation and maintenance of such enclaves. Ignorance of the jihad ideology among European officials has allowed that ideology to spread in those enclaves, unchecked until relatively recently.
'Consequently, among a generation of Muslims born in Europe, significant numbers have nothing but contempt and disdain for their native lands, and allegiance only to the Muslim umma and the lands of their parents’ birth. Those who continue to arrive in Europe from Muslim countries are encouraged by the isolation, self-imposed and other-abetted, of the Islamic communities in Europe to hold to the same attitudes.
'The Arab European League, a Muslim advocacy group operating in Belgium and the Netherlands, states as part of its ‘vision and philosophy’ that ‘we believe in a multicultural society as a social and political model where different cultures coexist with equal rights under the law.’ It strongly rejects for Muslims any idea of assimilation or integration into European societies: ‘We do not want to assimilate and we do not want to be stuck somewhere in the middle. We want to foster our own identity and culture while being law abiding and worthy citizens of the countries where we live. In order to achieve that it is imperative for us to teach our children the Arabic language and history and the Islamic faith. We will resist any attempt to strip us of our right to our own cultural and religious identity, as we believe it is one of the most fundamental human rights.’ AEL founder Dyab Abou Jahjah, who was himself arrested in November 2002 and charged with inciting Muslims in Antwerp to riot (Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt said that the AEL was 'trying to terrorize the city', has declared: ‘Assimilation is cultural rape. It means renouncing your identity, becoming like the others.’
"What is now taking place in Paris is merely an intensification of what has been going on since long before the electrocution of the two youths which prompted the current disorder.
Ia: "if you were to bring any of these weak stories to the UK or anywhere in Europe you would be humiliated and disgraced."
Ah. That's why, by my count, there's more Brits posting here than Yanks. Canadians, too. Right, right. Sure sure.
But, since it's not muslims rioting, I guess Ia wouldn't mind if all the rioters were shot.
LOL!
Ia, you've made my day. I think I will indeed go back and own an islamic site again for a while.
After all, people need to hear the truth.
From:
Prophet Geoff [bbuh]
ha ha ha, yes IA I'm sure these silly riots are no big deal, just like Kritalnacht was.
* Kristallnacht
As a parallel to Ia's rant about how not all muslims are rioting: are we then to not blame all Freemasons, an organization you claim is trying to take over the world and which is responsible for the crumbling (if that it be) of all moral absolutism?
I mean, it's not like they ALL did it.
Geoff
He's right in one thing - that yobs are trashing their own backyard. It's just that they happen to be Muslim yobs.
