Florida prosecutors today wrapped up their case against Sami Al-Arian, saying the former professor and his accomplices were "crime bosses" for terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad and just as guilty as those who actually committed murderous attacks."The men of the PIJ you got to know in this case, they didn't strap bombs to their body. They leave that to somebody else," stated prosecutor Cherie Krigsman, according to the AP.
Al-Arian and three others have been on trial for five months, facing a 51-count indictment charging they operated a criminal racketeering enterprise that provided funding and organization for a global terror ring responsible for the deaths of 100 people in and around Israel, including two Americans.
Prosecutors liken the men's activities to directing violence carried out by the Mafia, hence the label "crime bosses."
Krigsman says Al-Arian, a former computer engineering professor at the University of South Florida, was a key figure in PIJ, a State Department-designated terror group.
"No doubt about it, Sami Al-Arian was upper-level management," she said.
The prosecutor's case involved hundreds of pages of documents as well as wiretaps of phone calls.
Krigsman closed her arguments by showing a videotape of an attack carried out by PIJ – a 1995 bombing of a bus in the Gaza Strip that killed eight people.
"Hot metal shrapnel, propelled at blinding speed, murdered her," Krigsman said, referring to an American who was killed in the attack, Alisa Flatow.
Prosecutors says the defendants helped raise funds for terror attacks using a Tampa Palestinian charity and school founded by Al-Arian.

The situation in France is becoming incredibly concerning, although I believe it will become even worse in the future.
Last night, an old man died beaten to death (once again; his name was Jean-Jacques Le Chenadec). Churches were attacked. Villas were invaded and set on fire (no mention of it on television but the reports are running and propagating quickly on the internet). A 13 month old baby was injured. Policemen were injured. And the usual stuff, official buildings, cars burnt etc. The riots are spreading like a cancer that nobody wants to name, less alone stop. 10 000 police men are now on the field, all around France. We hear other European cities are attacked.
Our journalists still debate about the fact that we French discriminate those people and it is our fault, and we must give them more money and the new fashion is to say that we must IMPOSE “positive discrimination”. In other terms, turn those delinquants into communist civil servants, a job for life.
On the internet French people create networks in French and call themselves “resistants” against islamofascism.
Our ring wing newspaper, "le Figaro", said that it has nothing to do with Islam, and that (quote) “it is a French failure”. I did not know we had a "Pravda" here.
Churches and synagoges were attacked but it was too obscene to speak about it, visibly, and the journalists prefered not to insist.

Another "must": on the radio this morning, there was a surrealist telephone call by a socialist mayor. The guy was almost crying. He said “it is chaos... I have never seen that. Women are torn out of their cars and practically lapidated in front of everybody. Grenades are thrown into buildings where people live.. I have myself been aggressed.” The journalist asked: “Do you think they should send the army”... and here was the strange, paradoxical answer he gave: “you must understand that for a Socialist, asking for the army to intervene would be admitting we failed ...” The journalist said: “well, then, what do you propose ?” and the mayor said “I want the order to come back”. How ? We still did not know how.
Lastly, our pathetic Prime Minister spoke tonight, on television. The journalist kept asking him if it is “Sarkozy’s fault” and the debate went on and on about that.The Prime Minister (or whatever he should be called) said they would “give more money to the suburbs”. He never pronounced the word “Muslim” and continued speaking about “the youth”. However, he, once again, APOLOGISED to the Musilm leaders. Why does he need to kiss their ass if it is not a Muslim problem ?
As for me, I have not been agressed, but I feel very low and I keep crying. I am lucky enough to live in an area where the rioters are not likely to come, although now, I beware. I dont feel protected by the French State at all, especially after having seen the Prime Minister and our pathetic Chirac on TV and having understood those people will never do anything because they are scared.

The enemy within
People say that this is not the time or place for recrimination and accusation when the enemy is on the gates or have already stormed the battlements… However, we can not fight in our front and simultaneously watch our backs. As a descendent of a conquered subjected people who suffered as much and as long as any under Islam, and as one who is well versed in the history of the Islamic conquests, I know that the success of the Muslims owes as much or even more to the treachery of a few cowardly, vindictive, spiteful, conniving scum who sold their people out than to the military prowess and ruthlessness of the Arab conquest machine. A convenient traitor with a grudge or greed always shows up before battle to guide the Muslims, weaken the resolve of the defenders, spread panic, and consul capitulation.
The West does not have a few turncoat cowards with a grudge against the decedent West, it has millions of them, each with his/her own story. These are not desperate fringe individuals either, rather they are highly organized, well financed, powerful groups of the elites, the wealthiest, most educated, connected, and influential citizens presiding over hordes of disaffected minorities and the rebellious children of the Middle class.
Unless these destructive segments of our population are contained and rendered harmless, the Muslim conquest will proceed with outmost speed. The home front is the most important front, if we fail to secure it, all is lost. I really do not mind dying with a gun in my hand defending my family, my home, and my neighbors however, the defeatists liberal scum refuse to allow me to even die with dignity if that time comes. One thing that has been bothering me is why the media- Channel 4 and the BBC in Britain, Prince Charles and some authors (now identified in short hand as the Usual Suspects), have gone out of their way to glorify the fictitious "civilisation" of islam. The most mooted one is the Moorish rule of Andalusia, where it is confidently asserted that Jews, Christians and muslims lived peacefully together, building a society that was the envy of Europe and the world, all under benevolent Islamic rule.
It seems to me, that is what the goal is, i.e. a hankering for Utopia, even though a little research shows, that like virtually all visions of Utopia, Spain under the Moors was hell for those who had to live in it.
So it may well be a human desire for Utopia, where Christians, Jews and muslims i.e., people of different faiths, can all live in peace. In effect the allure of an ideal society.
Is this the cause for the glorification of Andalusia? I propose something a bit more sinister. I feel that the powers that be, and its organs such as the BBC, have realised that by shear demographic growth, muslims will inherit Europe. As Samir, a French muslim states

They cannot see how, in a liberal democratic society, this conquest by demographic growth can be avoided. Consequently, and accepting the reality as of now, the usual suspects are thus encouraging the conquest of Europe, and at the same time beguiling the natives to meekly accept their fate, as they have nothing to fear, for it will be just as wonderful as Andalusia.

The Holocaust in Bosnia-Hercegovina, 1941-1945

This division of Bosnian Muslims established with the help of Greater Germany, is an example to Muslims in all countries. There is no other deliverance for them from imperialistic oppression than hard fighting to preserve their homes and faith. Many common interests exist between the Islamic world and Greater Germany, and those make cooperation a matter of course. The Reich is fighting against the same enemies who robbed the Muslims of their countries and suppressed their faith in Asia, Africa, and Europe. Germany is the only Great Power which has never attacked any Islamic country. Further, National-Socialist Germany is fighting against world Jewry. The Koran says: "You will find that the Jews are the worst enemies of the Muslims." There are also considerable similarities between Islamic principles and those of National-Socialism, namely in the affirmation of struggle and fellowship, in stressing leadership, in the idea of order, in the high valuation of work. All this brings our ideologies close together and facilitates cooperation. I am happy to see in this division a visible and practical expression of both ideologies.
The Donauzeitung newspaper of December 31, 1942 reported that the Mufti had donated over 240,000 Kuna, the currency of the NDH regime, to the Muslim charity organization in Sarajevo from the coffers of Nazi Germany. In the spring of 1944, in a German radio broadcast from Zittau, Germany, he issued a call to Bosnian and Yugoslav Muslims to hold Islamic prayer services for 7 days to pray for the success of Hitler's forces.
The Bosnian Muslim Handzar and Kama Divisions were indoctrinated to kill Jews and Orthodox Serbs, who made up the bulk of the guerrilla and resistance movements, and who were associated with the enemies of the Third Reich, Communism and England,or as Heinrich Himmler termed it, the "common Jewish-Anglo-Bolshevik enemy". On March 1, 1944, the Grand Mufti issued from Berlin the following call to all Muslims: "Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history and religion. This saves your honor. God is with you."ÝMoreover, the Mufti called upon Bosnian Muslims to "take revenge and to punish" Bosnian Serb Orthodox Christians. Numerous eyewitness accounts testified that the Handzar Division committed the "worst atrocities against the Serbian population." In a photograph of troops of the Division, members are seen reading the pamphlet Islam und Judentum (Islam and Jewry), which explained the Nazi position on the Jewish Question and how it related to Muslims. These were prepared from the Mufti's schools and training centers in Germanythe Dresden school for Muslims in the Waffen SS, and the Goettingen school for Muslims in the German Wehrmacht.
Heinrich Himmler was determined to create the two Bosnian Muslim Waffen SS Divisions, although he met with opposition from the NDH regime and from sources within the SS itself. In a letter to Konstantin Kammerhofer, his SS representative in the NDH, he urged that 'strong steps' be taken to convince the NDH regime that is was supposed to be a puppet regime: "I expect to receive, by August 1, 1943, your report that the division, at a strength of about 26,000 men, is completely ready." Himmler ordered Gottlob Berger to send Kammerhofer two million Reichsmarks to fund the recruiting effort for the Handzar division. Unlike most SS officials, Himmler was convinced of the fighting ability of the Bosnian Muslims, partly from his understanding of the role of the Bosnian Muslims as soldiers in the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Army before and during World War I and his belief that Islam was an ideal religion for a soldier. Himmler stated to Joseph Goebbels that he hadÝ 'nothing against Islam because it educates the men in this Division for me and promises them heaven if they fight and are killed in action; a very practical and attractive religion for soldiers!'
The Bosnian Muslim troops in the Waffen SS Divisions were accorded the same privileges they had enjoyed in the Imperial Austro-Hungarian Army: special rations and the observance of Islamic religious rites.Each battalion in the Divisions had an Imam and each regiment a Mullah. Following the 1878 occupation of Bosnia-Hercegovina by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, four infantry regiments were recruited from the Muslim population: the Bosnia-Hercegovina Regiment No. 1, recruited around Sarajevo; the Regiment No. 2, recruited around Banja Luka; the Regiment No.3, recruited around Tuzla; and the Regiment No.4, recruited around Mostar. Following the outbreak of World War I, these Muslim regiments in the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Army would be thrust against the Serbian Army. The Handzar and Kama Divisions were modeled on these earlier Austro-Hungarian Muslim regiments, as Gerald Reitlinger explained in The SS: Alibi of a Nation: "These Moslems were the traditional enemies of the Christian Serbs, and in 1941 their religious zeal had urged them to join in the massacres of Serbs. As pillage was followed by discipline, the energy of the Mujos was canalised into the Waffen SS. The Mujos were organised on the lines of the Bosnian regiments of the old Imperial Austrian army, with officers and even N.C.O.s of German race, but they wore the Turkish fez with their SS runes and.. each battalion had an Imam.''

"Much of the coverage of the Paris riots has blamed the policies of France’s Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy for abandoning French Muslims inside squalid ghettoes and failing to integrate them. But as Robert Spencer points out, it is the Muslims themselves who insist on not being integrated. In her book Eurabia, Bat Ye’Or details
'a series of agreements between the European Union and the Arab League that guaranteed that Muslim immigrants in Europe would not be compelled in any way to adapt ‘to the customs of the host countries.’
'The European Union has implemented such recommendations for decades — so far from playing down the differences between ethnic groups, they have instead stood by approvingly while immigrants formed non-assimilated Islamic enclaves within Europe. Indeed, as Bat Ye’or demonstrates, they have assured the Arab League in multiple agreements that they would aid in the creation and maintenance of such enclaves. Ignorance of the jihad ideology among European officials has allowed that ideology to spread in those enclaves, unchecked until relatively recently.
'Consequently, among a generation of Muslims born in Europe, significant numbers have nothing but contempt and disdain for their native lands, and allegiance only to the Muslim umma and the lands of their parents’ birth. Those who continue to arrive in Europe from Muslim countries are encouraged by the isolation, self-imposed and other-abetted, of the Islamic communities in Europe to hold to the same attitudes.
'The Arab European League, a Muslim advocacy group operating in Belgium and the Netherlands, states as part of its ‘vision and philosophy’ that ‘we believe in a multicultural society as a social and political model where different cultures coexist with equal rights under the law.’ It strongly rejects for Muslims any idea of assimilation or integration into European societies: ‘We do not want to assimilate and we do not want to be stuck somewhere in the middle. We want to foster our own identity and culture while being law abiding and worthy citizens of the countries where we live. In order to achieve that it is imperative for us to teach our children the Arabic language and history and the Islamic faith. We will resist any attempt to strip us of our right to our own cultural and religious identity, as we believe it is one of the most fundamental human rights.’ AEL founder Dyab Abou Jahjah, who was himself arrested in November 2002 and charged with inciting Muslims in Antwerp to riot (Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt said that the AEL was 'trying to terrorize the city', has declared: ‘Assimilation is cultural rape. It means renouncing your identity, becoming like the others.’
