It now appears that some members of the infected community suffered from their malady prior to being given a safe haven by Australian authorities. From The Age:
Before the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US changed security perceptions, Muslim militants of all complexions sought Australia as a haven from security forces hunting them in their own countries.A search of Refugee Review Tribunal records between 1993 and 2001 reveals that scores of self-confessed militants from Algeria and Egypt asked for and, in many cases, were granted political asylum after convincing authorities they were fleeing persecution, jail and torture.
Others claimed to be former members of Islamist groups, such as Algeria's GIA (Armed Islamic Group) or Egypt's al-Jihad before becoming disillusioned with the culture of assassination and brutality and choosing to desert. Al-Jihad (Holy War) is a secret organisation of militant Muslims. It split from the Muslim Brotherhood and is responsible for the assassination of President Anwar Sadat in 1981 and bomb attacks on tourists.
Disillusioned with murder, eh? Well that's good. Would you like claim political asylum?
A spokeswoman for Australian Attorney-General Philip Ruddock said yesterday ASIO was routinely involved in assessing refugee claims, but declined to say whether there had been any attempt to review old claims.According to Amnesty International reports, during the bloody upheavals of the 1990s, armed Islamic groups in Algeria murdered journalists, writers, intellectuals, political activists, civil servants, teachers, magistrates and women accused of un-Islamic behaviour. Security forces responded with an equally bloody crackdown.
Official figures show that the refugee tribunal dealt with about 600 applicants from Algeria and Egypt in the seven-year period and many were accepted.
Several rejected applicants married Australians and later secured a visa.

One successful Algerian applicant told the tribunal that he was heavily involved in a political group in Australia and produced evidence to prove it. He argued that his continued involvement with the "Islamist agenda", which included the imposition of sharia law on "democratic" Algeria, had made him a target for security forces.Another 34-year-old man said he was in danger of detention on return to Algeria because of his strong Islamic beliefs. He said he had been involved with fundamentalist groups since secondary school and worked as a spy and organiser for militant groups.
The tribunal member concluded that as the man was a supporter of the "Islamist agenda" he would be at risk if sent home and was granted a visa.
Other cases involved applicants who were members of militant groups.
A husband and wife fled Egypt after being told by an Al-Jihad Party official to rob a store and kill the Christian owner. They said they quit the party because they feared for their lives if they failed to carry out the order.
Up until their desertion the husband had worked "persistently" to recruit young unemployed men into the party and attended religious classes.
An examination of the cases shows that before September 11, 2001, tribunal members judging asylum claims took an open approach to Islamic political refugees persecuted by repressive governments battling terrorism.

And who are the people working in Immigration to interview these applicants, and possibly rule on their fates? Might they be people who are native speakers of Arabic, and what's more, as Muslims or as that well-known variant, "islamochristian" (you should have heard the "Catholic" Arab Mayor of Bethlehem being interviewed on the BBC last night -- the perfect model of a modern islamochristian), be inclined to -- well, hand out in past years resident visas as if they were confetti.
Put in place of such people either Arabic-speaking Jews, or Armenians from Haleb, or Maronites from Lebanon, or Copots from Egypt -- and send in a few made-up cases, from time to time, just to keep monitoring those entrusted with such important tasks as deciding, or helping to decide, who shall be admitted into any Infidel country.
My recommendation would be to cease all Muslim immigration, and then to deal with the mistakes of past idiocy -- as demonstrated so well in the article above -- in a number of ways.
I agree with stopping all Muslim immigration. There was a reason for the Reconquista, the Crusades and the Papal decrees that Europe belonged to Christendom. What liberal and "enlightened" opinion forgot was that there are more dangerous people in this world than white Christian emasculated males, which is who most politically "correct" people have struggled against all these years.
This is a common phenomenon all over the Western world - Islamic militant claims persecution and risk of torture in home country and Western country grants same. Islamic militant stays in Western country and carries on Islamic militancy not only against his home country but his adopted country. What a sweet deal for these guys. Not only that, groups like Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International spend far too much of their time defending Islamic militants in places like Egypt. These people aim to impose Sharia which would result in the exact opposite of what HRW and AI are after. I have often wondered about the irony of AI and HRW defending people who are their sworn enemy, who if they came to power would immediately take the people who work for AI and HRW and imprison them or worse. What fools these mortals be.

It now should be obvious to anyone with half a brain: Muslims will eventually bring in heartache as part of their cultural baggage.
Much to our regret, this is a formidable historical lesson that we have forgotten.
The other day in a local paper it had a picture with relatives of a man who was detained for plotting a bombing in Australia. They were attacking a camera man. What does it take for the general population to see that these people are a group that is completely hostile to their host countries. I agree we must stop allowing muslims immigration to our countries. I am also outraged that they are allowed to come claiming they are persecuted back home. My brother in law is from Egypt and he mentioned to me that it bothers him that he came here to escape oppression. And yet he sees the oppressors back home here.

They are too islamic for the Mohammedan hell-holes, so their solution is "more Islam"- then they start blowing s@*t up an killing people, and before their government can roast 'em for it, they somehow manage to get to a western country, where they claim asylum from prosecution.
Amazingly they get asylum. And not only that: The host countries give them money, they are free to spend it and rape infidel females to their hearts delight, and they find like-minded characters who want to become 'shahids' for the Jihad and all the while the taxpayers foot the bill for subversive activities.
In the name of who? Who imposed this on us? Who is accountable, who is responsible for this, who is going to take the rap for this?

The lunacy of the West are manifested in the simile of an insane woman that takes vipers to her bed, feeding and sustaining them while leaving innocent children out in the cold. Such a woman deserves the ravenous vipers working their fangs into her oblivious bosoms, pouring out a slow torturous death into her veins.
