KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Four U.S. soldiers face disciplinary action for burning the bodies of two Taliban rebels, but they will not be charged with crimes because their actions were motivated by hygienic concerns, the military said Saturday.The military started its inquiry into the incident last month after TV footage showed U.S. soldiers using the cremation to taunt other Islamic militants — an act that sparked outrage in Afghanistan.
Islam bans cremation, and the video images were compared here to photographs of U.S. troops abusing prisoners at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison.
The U.S.-led coalition's operational commander, Maj. Gen. Jason Kamiya, said two junior officers who ordered the bodies burned would be officially reprimanded for showing a lack of cultural and religious understanding, but he said the men were unaware that what they were doing was wrong.
Like I said before, don't "ordinary mainstream" Muslims claim that the terrorists aren't Muslims anyway? At least that's what I've heard them claim, depending on which day of the week it is.
So if they're not Muslims, why worry about how they're getting buried or whatever?

Jason Kamiya will result in a lot more coalition forces unnecessarily killed &/or burned, decapitated, mutilated - the list goes on and on as these devout believers are quite creative in their accepted and celebrated arts. Shame Kamiya doesn't want to win this war. . . at least not in my book.

American soldiers cannot continue to be treated with such self-righteous contumely by its own government. They are getting angry, and they have a right to be angry. They are being used as cannon-fodder for a mission that does not make sense. That mission is simply a substitute for the real mission, which the current leaders, Republicans and Democrats, cannot articulate, cannot recognize, and will not dare to admit to themselves. The real mission is to weaken the attractiveness of Islam to both Muslims and Infidels, and to play on natural fissures within Islam, as offered by the rival ethnic and sectarian groups within Iraq, in order to divide and demoralize Islam, and to renew those old alliances among Infidels that have been greatly damaged by the clever exploitation, by Muslims and their hirelings within Western Europe, to exploit the pre-existing mental conditions of anti-Americanism and antisemitism. Getting out of Iraq will be so useful, in so many ways, not least in staunching the waste and misallocation of resources, and in giving everyone in the Infidel world time to learn about, and reflect upon, the real nature of Islam, and to then begin to fashion policies that make sense, and that are relentless in their intelligent deployment of means to check the spread of Islam, the power of Islam, everywhere.
And the first thing to think about, which cannot wait even for that but must wait until the American troops are out of Iraq (too close to the Iranians, and too close to the Iraqi Shi'a, some of whom are closely allied to the Iranians) -- destroying the Islamic Republic of Iran's nuclear project.

What kind of discipline did the terrorists who ambushed the convoy in Fallujah get for murdering those civillians and hanging their burned bodies from a bridge? Start burying the remains of all terrorists in pig carcases and watch Muslim terrorism stop cold.

It's obvious that if the Kings of PC, namely Kennedy, Kerry, Reid, and the Clintons were the ones having to sacrifice anything for their country, beyond their carefully constructed B.S., they would not be so quick to demand it from the ones who do.
In my opinion, their all PIGS, Demonrats, and Repugnants alike, and not one of them is in office to serve the people of this nation, as much as they are to service their own Bank accounts.
