THE leader of an Australian Islamic political party wants to know if supporting the right of Iraqis to kill Australian soldiers in Iraq constitutes sedition under planned laws.Kurt Kennedy, president of the Best Party of Allah, which is registered in the ACT, believes it is a mere statement of fact that Iraqis were right to kill Australian soldiers.
"The Government has a policy of sending troops over to help out with the occupation and attack on Iraq – and we say no, the troops should be returned," Mr Kennedy said ABC Radio.
"If they don't get returned, we think it's within every Iraqi inhabitant's right to take up arms and attack Australian soldiers.
"If they do kill Australian soldiers, we'd say, you know that's your bad luck, you sent them there in the first place.
"Is that seditious?
"That's not our policy, that's a statement of fact. They do have these rights under the Geneva convention."
Mr Kennedy said his party wanted to know the answers from policymakers.
"We've asked them directly to give us a policy reply. Is this what you want to do, to stop us from saying this?"
Well, er, ye-es, but you might also consider relocating to a country in which you don't regard the military as an enemy power.

I think Mr. Kennedy knows very little about the Geneva Convention, and neither knows nor cares to recognize how the majority of Iraqi people feel about the ouster of Saddam, but then Islamists don't worry themselves about such details, do they?

Well if it isn't sedition, it certainly should be. The other thing that should be considered seditious, as far as I'm concerned, is people calling for sharia law here. These are obviously people who don't fit here and want to destroy what we've built, and what is good for everybody.
This Kurt Kennedy sounds like a complete dill. He's a Vietnamese-born convert, and to me, converts are complete loony-toons. His website is testament to that.
