Reporters Without Borders and the Bangladesh Centre for the Development of Journalism and Communication (BCDJC) voiced deep concern today about a mounting wave of Islamist terrorism in Bangladesh and its impact on the press. At least 50 journalists and 10 publications have been threatened by terrorist groups in the past four months over supposedly “anti-Islamic” articles yet the government seems unable to restore confidence in the face of this new danger for the media.“After ignoring the terrorist threat for so long, the authorities now have a responsibility to come up with a response,” the two organisations said. “At stake is the safety of hundreds of threatened journalists who want to freely inform the public about the terrorism affecting their country. If the government fails to restore confidence among the journalists, investigative reports on jihadism will not be undertaken and self censorship will become the rule. We call on the authorities to establish a global plan for the protection of journalists and publications threatened by jihadist groups.
At least 55 journalists have received death threats since September from Jamatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), an Islamist group that has also promised to blow up eight newspapers and three press clubs. The latest victim, Amar Desh advisory editor Ataus Samad, received a letter from JMB on 22 December that said his newspaper would be “the next target.”
I found this very interesting because...
1. Almost ALL the media worldwide is Blaming Israel and America for ALL the problems with Islamic terrorism..
2. Very few are willing to tell the truth
(which is) Islamic terrorism is due to Islam..
3. Then when the reporters dare to (Question) their new Islamic Masters plans..
They suddendly find themselves the Targets of Islamic Jihad (Punishible of course by DEATH)..
4. The Reporters are running back to their own governments (whom they despise) Demanding Protection from the Islamic Terrorists...
5. Then the same Reporters scream bloody murder when the government tries to spy on (Yes its own citizens) since it is a FACT that 99.x % of ALL Terrorists are Muslim...
6. They then sue to stop the governments from investigating the muslims..
7. go to step 1 and repeat...
Am i the only one who sees a problem with this ?
It is foolish to expect that by repeating a certain action that somehow you will end up with a different result...
Unfortunatly the reporters havent learned this yet...
Maybe a few islamic terror attacks against their newspapers will wake them up...

When I was in the UK months ago, I talked to a MSM reporter off-line. He admitted to me that the UK reporters have a secret joke: "If we don't write that Islam is a religion of peace, they will kill us!" It is a joke, but he basically told me it's the truth. Of course, he told me this in private, and I'll keep his name out of it.
I wonder how some of these reporters can sleep at night and shave in the morning knowing they are being professional cowards? Where is their sense of manhood? At the very least, knowing they are being cowards (and not exposing the truth), how can they turn around and print knowing lies (the West/US is at fault, Islamaphobia is the real problem, etc.)?
Islam will fall apart, as it is only held together by fear and coersion. All systems held together in this manney eventually meet their end: Fascism, Communism, etc. When Islam does fall apart, these cowardly reporters will be exposed for all of history for what they were: The Neville Chamberlains of their time.
You, Robert and Hugh, and all the rest of us who are putting ourselves on the line for the truth, will be seen as the Winston Churchills of our time (as he was in the 1930's).
Everyone have patience and faith. We know what's right. It is only a matter of time.

The growing Islamic unrest in Bangladesh is a result of the Saudi-financed Islamic "schools" and mosques that have mushroomed in the country for the past 20 years.
While the world has been turning a blind eye on what the saudis do, nay indeed some even commended the Saudis for their charitable interest in education for the poor, these feudal oil barons have ben planting the seeds of islamic terror.
The Saudis are planning to build 4,500 more Islamic schools next year throughout South Asia.
Will anyone stop them?
Rocky is right when he mentioned Saudi Money played an important role in this recent Bangladeah uproar. Not only there,but even in the West and America,the media and the reportes are 'greased' by Saudi Money. In Bangladesh, don't under estimate the 'moderate 'Muslims. .Bangladesh is 90 percent Muslim.Recently eight christian men were burned to death ,when they were showing a 'Jesus'film to young children.The USA government stared a welfare credit scheme for the upliftment of poor women there. As a routine,before the training, a 'warming up' session will go on, where these ladies have to do some mild exercises. The local Mullas called it 'a dance before infedals' , and got infuriated by this . The husbands were insrtructed not to send their women to these credit corporations. Ultimately,they were the loosers. Whether mild,moderate or extreamist-A muslim 's mind set is the same!
