Increasing infiltration across the border. Terrorists sneaking into India. Regular skirmishes with men in uniform on the other side.This is not Pakistan we are talking about. In recent times, another neighbour has swiftly emerged as a major security concern for India.
Rediff India Abroad Deputy Managing Editor Ramananda Sengupta visited Bangladesh recently looking for answers to the big question: Why is such trouble brewing on India's Eastern Front?
The first in a series of reports from Bangladesh:
'Government has accorded top priority to erection of a fence along the Indo-Bangladesh border to check infiltration, smuggling and all anti-India activities from across the border.'
-- President A P J Abdul Kalam, addressing a joint session of Parliament, February 25.'We have specific information with us about the large-scale presence of the ISI and some terrorist organisations inside Bangladesh, which are sheltering and training Indian terrorists of various hues.'
-- Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee at a press conference after inaugurating the Indian Army's strategic broadband satellite service network at Fort William, Kolkata, August 7.

The poorest country in the area. You would think that because of the oft boasted humanity of Islam that they would be all over there improving facilities and infrastructure to help these people.
But true to their Qur'an confessed political aims, they build madrassas to brainwash further, they supply arms to the reactionary Islamists already there and they infiltrate foreign jihadists to attack India.
This is no laughing matter as the Indians do not worry overmuch about PC (ask their achuta women) and with both sides having nuclear capacity it is a very good area for the Jihadists to "stir the pot" and upgrade their jihad.
What can you do with these fanatics?
If only 5 % of Muslims are jihadists that still equates to 50 million and there are not enough gaols. Perhaps they should be summarily dealt with on the spot.
You would think that a country which had suffered one of the worst genocides of this century (vying with the annihilation of the Soviet POWs, the holocaust against the Jews, and the genocide in Rwanda) at the hands of their fellow muslim jihadists from Pakistan (at that time West Pakistan) would have nothing to do with the Pakis... Wrong! The Bangladeshis have collectively wiped out from the memories of these atrocities in order to forge ties with their jehadist brothers in Pakistan.

Jihadists would target so severely disadvantaged a country as Bagladesh is beyond me. Islam was spread by fire and sword over India and not content with the terrible destruction of temples & wonderful artifacts, murder,torture and enslavement of many millions, this DEATH CULT is again banging on all our doors. Please continue to inform us what is happening in Bangladesh as most of the suffering caused by Islam goes unreported by PC Western Press.

The Bengalis were grateful to the Indians to get them to push out the brutal regime of Yaya. So what has happend now. Who has let the thugs in again? Where are they from...surely not Pakistan...the bengalis wouldn't let them in again surely?
You British , it was who did such an apalling job of division along religious and ethnic lines of a land that they had occupied over 250 years. The departing British and various Cronie Indian politicians pressed for the creation of the two Hindu & Muslim-dominated states.
Obviously it hasn't worked that well. I for one belive that it was deliberate policy by the British who know full well what would happen. "Let them fight each other...then they will be no threat to us...and we will still rule the world by proxy".
None of that unfortunately helps the current situation....the only solution is education to try & get people to sit down & resolve the differences...that may take another 20years that we don't have.....Job accomplished by the British.
The Indians are our ally. They know the truth. It is refreshing to hear my Hindu Indian friend, normally so calm and kind, start raging when the subject of conversation comes upon Muslims.
When Muslim apologists start whining that we need to understand the "root causes" of their "alienation", I like to bring up, then how come the Indians have integrated so well into the West? That shuts them up.

Well we know the answer to that one don't we. It is not in the muslim mindset for this to ever happen. It's either the will of Allah or it's because of antagonism from the infidels. Never, never the fault of muslims!
This is a fatal flaw in the muslim psyche. You say the solution is education. But at this point, I've got to think even education will not break thru Islam's force field of intolerance. Or were you thinking more along the lines of education just for the infidels Naseem? This certainly wouldn't surprise me in the least.
The rant in the rest of your post about a British conspiracy and your postings here generally of late, lead me to conclude that even a seemingly intelligent, moderate muslim is a lost cause.

Ahem, last I heard faithful Uncle Sam was arming our jehadist neighbor Pakistan (raised to the status of chief ally in USA's 'war on terrorism') with a supply of F-16 bombers. Oh, and by the way, wsn't it faithful Uncle Sam which looked the other way while it was arming the jehadists in Afghanistan & Pakistan in the war against Russians, knowing full well that much of the weapons that they gave the jehadists was being syphoned off to support the Islamists in Kashmir.
I'm not trying to single out Uncle Sam for its schizophrenic behavior. Almost all the Kafir countries (including India) have exhibited (and still do) a similar behavior pattern. This lack of unity amongst the Kafir nations has been used to the hilt by the jehadists.
