Charles Jacobs of the David Project writes in to the Boston Globe with some disturbing information about the Islamic Society of Boston's associations.
THE STORY on the lawsuit filed against us by the Islamic Society of Boston (''Praised by beacon, mosque project stalls amid rancor," Page A1, Dec. 18) did mention that the society's founder, Abdurahman Alamoudi, raised money for Al Qaeda and is in jail (in connection with a plot to assassinate a Saudi prince). But the story omitted even more worrisome facts.The society's leaders have praised suicide bombers and called for attacks on Americans. A website in Qatar associated with society trustee Yousef al-Qaradawi, an internationally known leader of extremists, calls for gays to be executed by either stoning or burning. Al-Qaradawi has been barred from the United States. The society website praises as ''very good" a book that refers to the women's liberation movement as a ''Jewish plot" to corrupt society and argues that wife-beating is at times necessary. The library of the society's current Cambridge mosque contains literature containing vitriol directed against Christians, Jews, and Americans. While mosque spokesmen speak of ''dialogue" and tolerance, Qaradawi says ''there is no dialogue between us [and the Jews] except by the sword and the rifle.' "
As citizens, we were concerned. We wanted the society to answer simple questions, questions that it took pains to avoid answering. As a result, we have been sued by the society and forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars to defend ourselves. This is not a case about Boston bigots with discriminatory suspicions. It is a case of citizens rightfully worried that their city might be importing -- and subsidizing -- hatred and misogyny with links to terror.

Dec. 18, 2005 update: The Boston Globe reports today that accusations that ISB officials sympathize with Islamic extremists has caused donations to slow "to a trickle." Further, it cannot get access to loans. This has lead to the indefinite postponement of the mosque's opening:

l am appalled that the city of Boston have cowardly endorsed this project! keep up the lawyers and siphon off their money for that mosque!

Wait and see if the Saudis, or their proxy, don't come up with an equivalent 'donation'.
The ISB probably thought they were untouchable; if they keep up the litigation, they'll be lucky to have a double-wide trailer for a mosque. They'll have to take the wheels off after they point it at Mecca.

I found it interesting, that all the time the dialogue and the accusations were fliying around, construction continued and the building will be ready for the practise of the islamic faith in staid old Boston. As far as the overruns are concerned, do you think that now this goal is within reach they will let a mere 2.5 million stabd in the way of the opening? When it comes to planning and deciet, we have been outmatched. If on the other hand we can remain honest and upfront in our dealings with them we will be the winners in the end. The only and strongest hope I have is my faith in the fact that GOD is in charge, and whatever we must go through to serve HIM will be to our joy and peace. If we read Revelations and the prophets we will know what we must endure in order for the kingdom of GOD reach its destiny. Don't think it can happen here? I guarantee you that once suicide bombers start blowing themselves up on the streets of US cities; Americans will not have the tolerance of Isreal.
In Lodi, California many of the Mosque members knew of the terrorist plans of the members that were arrested. They failed to act in a timely basis, but luckily the plot was foiled. When radical mosque members start blowing up US elementary schools, buses, and buildings; with the tacit compliance of the US Islamic community and mosques, PC thought will be a distant memory of the past for the vast majority of Americans.
If you are a follower of Islam and there are radical cells in your Mosque, then I suggest that it may be in your long term interest to police your community, least you wake up one day to a 1940's reality. It may be called secured state provided housing, but it will add up to nothing more than internment.
WE keep getting told by our leaders that Islam is a religion of peace....hmmm.... I cannot understand why if it is a peaceful religion, that the thousands of clerics who teach death and distruction for the infidels, are not kicked out of the Muslim religion and of course as the Muslims way, a fatwa put on him for teaching such horrors, instead we see that they are not kicked out and are kept there to teach their hatred or they are shifted somewhere else... these poor people seem to think that even the ants in the ground are against them....

Charles Jacobs of the David Project has been sued. It appears that this is becoming an ever increasing type of attack from Muslims. They plan to kill us and when we hunt for the answers they sue us. Two pastors in Victoria, Australia, had the same thing done of them, just for preaching the differences between Islam and Christianity, and some of the people laughed... they plan to kill us and we do nothing, we laugh and they sue us...
As this is one of their terror tactics, and the law is on the side of the criminal now,, suing is going to increase, to try to weaken the infidel, (Mohammad said that they terrorise to weaken the people), we should be giving money to the likes of wonderful people like Charles Jacobs so as he can recoup some of their financial losses, especially as he has been trying to save our country and beliefs, and besides, if we don't back people like him, people wont do what is necessary to stop this onslaught for fear of being sued and not being able to afford to fight.. we must stand together, Muslims have the backing, and their clerics who spew out this hate, are not removed, so although they tell the infidel, pagan and Christians that they are going to stop this hell against us that it is un-Islamic, nothing is done,, of course we don't even have to wonder why they do nothing we just need to look at the Quran to know why .... They tell us lies, because they still need more time for immigration and multiplication to give them the bigger numbers to entrench themselves in our societies, so by telling us that they will stop the hate preaching, they are only gaining the time needed to gather a bigger and bigger foot hold for "when the time is right and they are called"...
Just imagine that within 20 years the very, very large families that they are having in the western societies, to each wife now, plus with more immigration, will give them a massive force in our western societies, as seen in France and Britain...

Are these people closet Muslims, or recieving money from Muslim... perhaps it is time that someone taught them (if that is possible) what Islam is all about before it is to late.. dont they have enough brains to see what is going on in the rest of the world. I can only come to one conclusion,, that they are recieving a mass of money to sell Australia out. I think this is something that has to be investigated. And so it must be up to each of us - 4 billion of us non-Muslims if possible, to do precisely what Gerard Jackson does in his article above - tell the truth and blaspheme Muhammad - the lynchpin upon which all this madness turns. Many have correctly pointed out that this particular conflict is in some ways unique in history, in the sense that every ordinary person has the opportunity for heroism, however small. I wish people would understand the truth of that. And the more of us ordinary people who speak out, even if its behind the cover of anonymous internet monikers, the more cover we provide for the truly heroic, like Mr Spencer, and the Australian pastors and Gerard Jackson, and Charles Jacobs, (and Hirsi Ali and Theo van Gogh and so many other really and truly brave people) who go out into the public with their real names and dare to speak the truth. After all, they can't literally go after millions and millions of people all saying the same thing! This is really a case of "strength in numbers". Andrew Whitehead of ACAIR (Anti-CAIR) has been repeatedly targeted for "defamation" lawsuits by CAIR, as well as Daniel Pipes. Both Whitehead and Pipes have prevailed so far, but you're right. It takes time and resources to defend against even the most ludicrous complaints.

The Muslims in this country better think twice if they think that they are immune from "internment camps" or "persecution" if the Islamofascists start blowing up people in America and they do nothing to marshall their own. I can guarantee that we will act swiftly and forcefully and it will not be pretty for the Muslims. Period.
All the Muslims have to do is observe a little about what America has already done in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as our past history of warfare. The Japanese Admiral Yamamoto was reported to have said "we awakened a sleeping giant" when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Yamamoto was right and the Muslims best understand that. After 9-11 I don't know why America is still trying to appease the Muslims but I really believe that this kind of appeasement is about to end as more and more of the American people are not buying into the crap that Islam is a religion of peace. The movement in America to stop the aggression of Islam is underway. I personally would not want to be a Muslim living in America, or, for that matter, any where. It's fairly easy to see that if the Muslims don't change their doctrine of hate and death their future is bleak.
