"Deviant Group" thwarted in Riyadh

From Reuters:

Saudi security forces have arrested 17 suspected fighters in a series of raids around Riyadh, state television said.

They also seized weapons and ammunition early on Saturday in the raids on 12 homes in the capital and nearby districts of Kharj and Mujamma, television quoted an Interior Ministry source as saying.

Some of the arrested men had taken part in operations carried out by the "deviant group" - a label used by authorities to describe supporters of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network - or sympathised with them, the television report said.

It said all the arrested men were Saudi nationals, but gave no details of their identity. Security forces also seized electronic equipment and printed material in the raids.

when will we finally have had enough of saudi's influence of terrorism and make them pay for play?

Does anyone believe the Saudi Propaganda?? What, are they calling today's strict followers of the
original Terrorist Mohammed a DEVIANT!! My those fat Princes are sure going to get a warm welcome
from Allah and Murderous Mo. No virgins for 'em :
just skewered and slow roasting in Islamic Hell.
BY THE WAY IN CHRISTIAN COUNTRIES DURING GLORIOUS DAYS OF 'TOLERANT' OTTOMAN EMPIRE MANY
A POOR WRETCH WAS SKEWERED & SLOWLY ROASTED ALIVE
TO TEACH DHIMMIS A LESSON.

Saudi Arabia has been parading around for quite some time that they are friends to the west, and especially America. But are they really? It seems to me that Saudi's actions such as these by the Royal Family are just ploys and tricks, trying to gain the trust of America and the rest of the west. In actuality, though, they are not friends to the US or the west. Mohammed was born there. Islam was born there. The Kaba is there. Wahabism was born there. Osama bin Laden is from there. 3/4 of the 9/11 conspirators were from there. Saudi Arabia is not our friend, period. We should not trust them, or their feeble attempts at trying to convince the world that they are standing up and fighting against terrorism. Saudi Arabia hosts some of the world's worst persecution against Christians. Not to mention their oppression of their non-arab non-muslim population. Don't trust Saudi Arabia, a criminal muslim nation.

If it were a football contest between al-saud and al-queda, I would hope for a scoreless tie with lots of injuries.

Deviant?

These groups are the result of over three decades of building schools and mosques worldwide in order to indoctrinate formerly mellow Muslims.

The Saudis are the head of the militant snake.
I hope the reap the whirlwinds they have been sowing soon.

I used an online translation engine to render Saudi-speak into plain English...

"Some of the arrested men had taken part in operations carried out by the "deviant group"

translated as:

"Some of the men finally admitted under torture that they indulged in Jihad without Saudi State Sanction -- We therefore labelled them "deviant" and fully exploited their arrest to further the illusion that we are fighting extremism."
