... Who's speaking alongside Yvonne Ridley>/a>
there is something rather repugnant about some of those who rush to renounce acts of terrorism.
And Galloway ? Shome mishtake shurely ?
DrunkenBlogger - did you see at Harry's Place where someone pointed out that Yvonne Ridley looks just like the Singing Nun? Perhaps she's be singing to fellow dhimmi, Dominique nique nique de Villepin. Serve him right.
Damn. I never got the chance to nominate Diana West of the Washington Times for Anti-Dhimmi American.
Yes, Dr. Bostom will probably win it, and deservedly so. But my big thing is the PR/Marketing front, which IMNSHO is of paramount importance but receives little attention here or elsewhere.
West's string of incisive columns on matters Islam is unparalleled in the MSM. West has shown great insight and courage in her recent publishing. And it could even be that some of the numbskulls in her local market might even read one of her columns and have a light bulb go off above their haids.
I assume that she is writing a book on this about which we haven't heard...
It appears that we will need a line-item in the budget for Dhimmi and Anti-Dhimmi Statuettes, ribbons, medals and certificates suitable for framing.
Grand prize winners in each category, first and second runner up, and honorable (dishonorable for dhimmis) mention. The certificates can be made on the computer with a laser printer, and, if the budget doesn't allow, all of us crafters and garage inventors can rig up something suiitable...It should be fun.

Look, every family has its black sheep or that mad little aunt in the attic, but most of us just keep our own counsel.
And for Allan, Joyce and Daisy Ridley she is it.

YES but I think he was being ironic! The singing nun is Belgian - he was really referring to the Belgian suicide bomber, saying Yvonne reminds him of the Iraq Bomber (also a convert)
I vote for Ramsay Clark. The defender of all things anti-American, yet he claims to be defending the "American way." What a dhimmi. He's the king of the dhimmis.
The "Group Dhimmi" nomination goes to the Al-Arian jury!
I hope plenty people will remember that our feisty modern Joan of Arc - Orianna Fallaci - is terminally ill with cancer - and give her their vote for International Anti-Dhimmi.
It would be great if she received the recognition she fully deserves while still able to appreciate the appreciation.
Sorry I missed the nomination cutoff. I would like to say that I think there are much better candidates for the Dhimmi awards than Bush or Blair. Anyone who opposes the war against terror is a better choice. For the American award any or all of the leftists organizations (code pink, ISM, etc.) are a better choice with the various Democratic members of Congress (Kennedy, Schumer, Feinstein, etc.) a close second. Another excellent choice are all the people that voted for Kerry in the 2004 election as they will be the people that have the potential to sink our nation come the next election.
whoa, did anyone nominate the press for the Dhimmi awards, NYT, Washington Post, CBS and NBC being the favorites?
How about something less depressing? The always incisive Ali SIna writes:
"Islam sees all of us as faceless worthless infidels and is determined to dominate or exterminate us all irrespective of what we believe. It would be foolish if we let our petty differences derive rifts between us and make the victory of Islam easy."
That's just a reminder to all on the board (right, left, Christian, atheist, etc.) that elevating your own agenda to the front is helping the enemy.
For Americans, it's a tough choice. James Baker?
Is Grover Norquist a dhimmi, or a cryptomuslim?
Abe Foxman?
For Antidhimmi, Tom Tancredo, even though, for my tastes, he is a bit too lenient and pacifistic.
Where else could you see a bunch of vicious Muslims fly airplanes into the heart of your culture in an attempt to destroy it, read up on the truth about fascist Islam on the internet, and then come to the conclucions slightly ahead of the rest of your countrymen that Islam probably needs to be eliminated?
I like your post, American (great moniker too!) Tom Tancredo's alright in my book. You gotta start somewhere -- and the man has some good ideas....

Well Ken Livingstone is definitely British Dhimmi of the Year.
