A 20-year-old Palestinian arrived Saturday morning at the 300 roadblock south of Jerusalem. Border Guard police officers searched him and discovered that he was carrying two ready-to-use improvised explosive devices, a plastic gun and a knitted hat. The devices included explosives and nails. Sappers, who were dispatched to the area, detonated the charges in a controlled manner. The Palestinian, a resident of the village of Abadia near Bethlehem, was detained and taken into investigation. In his investigation, the young man said that he had planned on carrying out a terror attack in Jerusalem, claiming that he wanted to do so because of his "hatred of Jews."
Most of us living in comfortable homes, enjoying
all the liberal freedoms of the West cannot imagine what it is to live in a state of constant seige. Jews
in their tiny land of Israel outnumbered by hostile hordes of Islamists on every border. Shall we blame them for fighting to
keep alive??? How much of their blood has been spilt over the centuries - these 'scapegoats of history' yet they are still reviled & hated today. If Israel gets 'wiped off the map" the West won't have a real friend [or civilised country] in the Middle East. However these plucky
clever people learned a terrible lesson from Holocaust - 'It is better to die fighting than be
driven like sheep to the slaughter of [Nazi] or
Islamic butchers.' Something we will be called upon to do also - and not in a too distant future...
I welcome all 5.5 million Jews in Israel into the U.S of A. The contribution of talent and energy will energize this country, and it will prove to be of the most severe unintended consequences for the Arabs.
The Arabs whine now about the Jews, imagine the consequences if they drove the Jews out of Israel.
But they really don't want to that either, the Jews in Israel serve the Arabs a function, as a diversion to deflect the failures of Islam and it's leaders.
Were there no Jews, they would have no excuse for their behavior and the leaders would have no foil by which to deflect attention.
