Khatami: Dialogue between Islam, Christianity unavoidable

The former Iranian president speaks of a dialogue to attain peace, justice and freedom, but on whose terms? [1] Examples abound in the Dhimmi Watch archives of just how one-sided that dialogue will be. From [2] IRNA:

Addressing a large number of Lebanese scholars, cultural figures and religious leaders, Mohammad Khatami said dialogue among religions can end misunderstandings in today's world.

Dialogue among religions, particularly between Islam and Christianity, aimed at resolving regional and world problems, can prove to be of great use to researchers, writers and journalists in their work, the Iranian scholar noted.

Life in this contemporary age will be a lot simplified through dialogue and exchange of experiences, Khatami, who first proposed the concept of `Dialogue among Civilizations', said.

Khatami further expressed the hope that the world will get to witness efforts toward peace, justice and freedom for all instead of inequality, war and discrimination in the near future.
