"It is important for the country that I want to build that these people consider themselves as full Quebecers."

There's a certain irony in that an Armenian has enlisted a suspected Muslim terrorist supporter's help. But then again, he is running for the Bloc Québécois. Wait until the provincial elections where the new Parti Quebecois leader is an admitted coke-head (and not the drink). How soon can they separate - please.

Why else would a Moroccan Muslim, suspected of terrorist ties, be showing up to campaign for a certain "Armenian Bloc" candidate -- one of those Armenians who, unlike those who left the Middle East early, or who stayed in Russian-ruled Armenia, have forgotten that the various massacres or genocides of Armenians were always and everywhere committed not only by Turks, but by other Muslims, including Kurds and Arabs attacking Armenians straggling through the Syrian Desert before finding safety among fellow Christians in Beirut and Aleppo, in what was clearly prompted by the tenets and atttiudes of Islam.
A fantastic situation.
And one that shows how numbers matter. The more Muslims within the Western world, the greater their political power. "Integrating" them is a fool's errand that will only cause a few to genuinely jettison Islam, and give the others the tools -- lessons in the local languages and cultures and those civil "rights" that, the product of Infidels, will be used against those very Infidels. Everywhere in the Western world, given the pusillanimity and short-sightedness of many politicians (as some of the Socialist leaders in France, so eager to throw in their lot entirely with Muslims), more Muslims will mean an undermining of the ability, and will, of Infidels to resist what is a world-wide phenomenon: the Jihad which employs many instruments, including Da'wa and demographic conquest, to undermine from within, and to spread Islam, as it is a Muslim's duty to spread it, until it covers the globe.
Why should this duty, why should the texts of Islam, why should not all the evidence around us, be taken seriously?

I’m not surprised. As an Armenian I can tell you that most Armenians born in Islamic Countries regard muslims as friends. This is mainly because the genocide of 1915 is taught to us as being carried out by Turks, rarely anything is mentioned about Kurdish and Arab involvement, or the fact that it was jihad.

I've know about this for some time, and yes, it is disgusting.
Québec is in such deep "fecal matter" that it's doubtful whether anything can even be done.
Francophones have abandonned their Catholic faith and rechanneled that energy into the political project of national independance.

Presentation of the facts, that's what.
Fact is, 99% plus of the infidel masses have not been exposed to the most basic, salient characteristics of Islam. No effort, none, has been or is being made on any front to apprise the populace of that with which we're dealing.
There are countervailing PR marketing efforts underway by any number of actors to promote Islam -- the White House, the MSM, Hollywood, CAIR, academe, State, PBS, the History Channel, thousands of local school districts, many Christian church organizations, et al.
But there are no efforts afoot to promote the factual reality what Islam actually is. Why, to do *that* would be untoward, now wouldn't it?

Very disappointing. As a French speaking, sovereignist Quebecer, and staunch opponent of jihad, I think they should be more careful about their strategic alliances. OK, so they want to court the Muslim vote. Did they HAVE to choose a suspected terrorist as a "model" Muslim? I'm pretty sure there are many high-profile, non-terrorist Muslims in Quebec.

You should be alarmed, then, by the favoring of more-or-less francophone maghrebins and Muslims from Lebanon and Egypt over immigrants from Italy, Greece, and Eastern Europe. You might, as you attempt to bring the craziness of this policy to the attention of Parti Quebecois officials (and Muslims in Quebec have been deliberately joining all sorts of parties to press, not for this or that party, but a common Muslim agenda across party lines). If Quebec wishes to continue to attract Maronites from Lebanon, or for that matter Copts some of whom once looked to France for cultural inspiration, or the possible influx of francophone French (how's that for a concept?), leaving France for Montreal, as the writer Maurice Dantec has done.
Dantec is not the only one disgusted with la pensee unique in France, merely one of those disgusted enough to have left France. Montreal is better off for his presence. But what about other French people, or Lebanese (Maronites), or others who might be valuable immmigrants for Quebec, but who will be less likely to arrive if, upon their arrival, they find large pockets of Muslims already well-ensconced and able to manipulate the political system.
Meanwhile, for a taste of Dantec, here's just a bit he had to say last year about Chirac, the runner-up to Galloway in the contest that has just ended:

Whether or not Quebec separates--and there is a good chance they will either separate or have some kind of sovereignty-association within the next few years--I do not wish the Islamists on any of them.
I read Voegelin enough to realize that the Liberals and the NDP want to immanentise the eschaton, and that I don't like it one bit. My idea of creating Heaven on Earth is to get rid of people who wish to create Heaven on Earth. I'd start with the Liberals and NDP in Canada. Since that's not going to happen until the Muslims ban them here I hope to get away from this place, to go to some warm place where I can live without social workers and poverty pimps and school teachers soaking up every dime from every pocket to act in loco parentis and smugly too. Lulu we have a conservative goverment here in OZ and they are almost as bad as your own in that they stsill allow a massive influx of unassimialable (?spelling) Muslims here (we now have 500k from 30k about 20yrs ago(memory dont quote me)). All the recent Muslim provoked riots are dampened down by the PC castrated polies and blamed upon white supremacists etc. It is times like this that an army takeover a la Algeria does not seem that disgusting as it once did.
BTW I talked to an Oz army colonel who was present at the induction of the first Muslim in the Oz army. They had to bend so far over to be PC re rations and prayers etc that he will cost about 10x the usual grunt cost to maintain and there is still no guarantee that he will shoot at coreligionists. What a ^^%$ed up world.
Over the years I've grown accustomed to the stream of Quebec license plates flowing along the Northway and NYS Thruway to points south and back. Montrealers heading to the Jersey Shore or Miami. Haitian immigrants visiting family in NYC.
Summertimes in upstate NY, the plates were, it seemed, 10-20% of all cars on the road, though they weren't percieved to be the vehicular threat presented by the dreaded "Jersey Driver", usually identified with an expletive in front and an exclamation point behind.
As a child these cars captivated me with their hint of a country other than my own, a different place, something over the horizon yet close enough to drive to. It was never strange or threatening, just enough promise of "otherness" so close at hand to spark a boys imagination.
There was that recent article, in Frontpage I believe, about French Jews moving to Montreal because of persistent French anti-semitism and the growing muslim threat. Now this.
This insanity demonstrated by the French and their "offspring" to actively pursue those who will utimately bring about their destruction is a mental juggernaut.

I've seen NY's northern border with Canada, not very reassuring. At least there's a river. This is another fine example of the argument that demographics are Islams biggest gun. Terrorists own actions are the best argument against them in the public forum. Even if they get free rein to kill for awhile, sooner or later even the stupidest of apologists, or philobarbarists(thanks dag)would have to come around. But the festering demographic cancer, this is the true danger.

I'm not going to defend Trudeau but after the abduction of James Cross and subsequent abduction/murder of Laporte, the War Measures Act was the only instrument the government had in the face of an apparent insurrection. It was an all or nothing law which was later changed to be more flexible. While I disagreed with Trudeau on just about everything, he did have the balls to stand up to the separatists (literally in the famous St. Jean Baptiste day parade/riot) and I suspect he may not have been the dhimmi we now see in our politicians.
Trudeau stinks. I've been reading a couple weeks now the "Western Standard" about Bilingualism in Canada and how it has destroyed the nation and cost us 1.5 times the national debt.
As for the Bloc appealing to Islam, this is no different than the NDP going for Faith Based Caucases earlier. Truly sick.
