Terrorist: Hezbollah has 'headquarters' in Gaza

A Stop the Presses Alert from WND, with thanks to JE:

JERUSALEM – The Iran and Syria-backed Hezbollah militia maintains a cell in the Gaza Strip that directs and finances terror operations against Israelis, including several attacks carried out by a group connected to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, a captured Palestinian terrorist told Israeli interrogators.

The latest information comes as the Lebanese government continues refusing to disarm Hezbollah in spite of a United Nations resolution calling for the disbandment of all armed groups in Lebanon.

Majdi Kamal 'Abd al-Jabbar 'Amer, an Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist recently captured by Israeli forces, revealed during interrogation he took orders to commit attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon through what he called a Hezbollah "headquarters" in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security officials told WND.

The Brigades is the declared military wing of Abbas' Fatah party, and is responsible for scores of suicide bombings, shooting attacks and Qassam rocket firings.

According to interrogators, Amer said several months before his arrest he contacted Abu Rabi, a Hezbollah operative in Lebanon, asking him for money for himself and seven other Brigades terrorists to commit shooting attacks against Israelis.

After receiving $1,500 and carrying out attacks, Amer revealed, he asked Rabi for more Hezbollah money and was told to be in touch with a middleman in the Gaza Strip named Abu Lu'ai, who then regularly provided Amer and his group with thousands of dollars in cash for attacks.

"Amer told us several times that Hezbollah was an excellent source of funding for attacks against Israelis," a security official said. "He described what was like a Hezbollah funding and directing headquarters in Gaza that would provide money for attacks to be carried out in Gaza, the West Bank, and against Israelis elsewhere."

Surprise!! Surprise!! Look at Arafat!!

l wonder if the Israelis are following the McCain laws of information gathering from your captured terrorist! perhaps McCain needs to travel there and
watch the pros!

And yet, while expressing unhappiness with Hamas' participation in P.A. elections, the U.S., via Foggy Bottom, continues to support the P.A. financially. Some of the municipalities that have already elected Hamas leadership are still receiving U.S. financial aid, despite State's promise not to engage in dialog with or fund Hamas.

Not that Fatah is any better. I wonder if Spielberg's new, moral-relativist piece o' crap about the Munich massacre includes the fact that Abu Allah, the current Chairman of the P.A., arranged the funding for the Munich operation in 1972? (That's a rhetorical question.)

Not only Hezballah, but also Islamic Jihad, Al-Qeida, the PFLP and myriad other Islamic terror groups have returned quickly to P.A.-controlled Gaza, which has become, as the right-wing "fanatics" in Israel accurately predicted prior to the surrender of Gaza, an international Islamic terror center. Congratulations Condi and Arik! Well done!

According to interrogators........

Is this not against all rules of warfare...to interrogate someone???

What were they thinking???

Send them all to Saudi's school of wahaabism.
That'll teach 'em to interrogate someone.

I put this on another thread, but it belongs here too,
From an email I received today,
For the UN, at least, Israel has already ceased to exist! Earlier this month, the United Nations held a “Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.” Would it surprise you to know that central to the festivities was a map of “Palestine”...with Israel literally erased from the map? The irony is that Israel has been a member of the UN for 56 years!

The map, tagged “map of Palestine” was prominently displayed between the UN flags and the PLO flag. Not only does the map have the Arabic word for “Palestine” at the top, and not only does it NOT include Israel, it does not even have the partition line sanctioned by the UN General Assembly to denote a Jewish state alongside an Arab state.

Those present were asked to stand to observe a moment of silence with the master of ceremonies offering this invitation: I invite every one present to rise and observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who have given their lives for the cause of the Palestinian people. According to one observer, “It was a moment...crafted to include the commemoration of suicide-bombers.”

Following that blatant disregard for Israel and the Jewish people, Iran’s fanatical new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the state of Israel to be moved to Europe. He reiterated his October call for Israel to “be wiped off the map” by opining that the Jewish state was a “tumor.”

In Saudi Arabia for a meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Iranian hardliner ranted: “Is it not true that European countries insist that they committed a Jewish genocide? They say Hitler burned millions of Jews in furnaces...and exiled them.”

In an interview with Iran television, Ahmadinejad stated: “Now that you believe the Jews were oppressed, why should the Palestinian Muslims have to pay the price? Why did you come to give a piece of Islamic land and the territory of the Palestinian people to them?”

Calling upon the Europeans, Ahmadinejad continued: “You oppressed them, so give a part of Europe to the Zionist regime so they can establish any government they want...So Germany and Austria, come and give one, two or any number of your provinces to the regime.”

The Iranian leader made his comments during a conference in Mecca titled: “A World without Zionists.” “The establishment of the State of Israel was an offensive move. The Islamic nation will not let its historic enemy live in its midst,” he said.

It should not surprise you to know that Iran refuses to recognize Israel, and Iranian media frequently interview those who attempt to prove that the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust was wildly exaggerated.

And we must note that the very day Ahmadinejad made his fiery comments, a suicide bomber murdered five people in the Israeli town of Hadera. Was this foremost on the Iranian’s mind when he vowed, “There is no doubt that the new wave [of attacks] in Palestine will wipe off this stigma [Israel] from the face of the Islamic world.”

The goal of Hamas as stated in its charter is to “raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine.” Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan Al-Banna has stated: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”

From 1993 to 2005, Hamas has launched 113 suicide attacks against the Jewish people in Israel. It is difficult to understand why some Western politicians continue to call for Hamas to be included in the Palestinian Authority’s political process...as long as they abandon their violent tactics? Now that’s a new one...peaceful obliteration!

After you have signed the petition to President Bush, please forward it to everyone on your list. Ask them to sign it and keep it going around the world.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Mike Evans

I understand that this , my first comment, might be a little out of context, but I wish to say:

I am amazed at the irony of the New York Times and Washington Times being outraged by , and demanding a special counsel to investigate the leak of Valerie Plame's integrity, which meant nothing really and now the NYT leaks vital information redarding our security, endangering our forces.

I wish the Government would go further and found out who leak this information to the press.
