Muslim militants are blamed for the October killings, the most gruesome yet in a campaign of terror against Christians on the island of Sulawesi.
Muslim-Christian violence from 2000 to 2002 killed some 1,000 people in Sulawesi and attracted Muslim militants from across Indonesia, including from Jemaah Islamiyah, a homegrown network linked to Al Qaeda, and even from the distant Middle East.
That is, Muslim violence against Christians, not "Muslim-Christian violence."
Despite a peace deal, bombings, shootings and other attacks on Christians have continued, especially around the small town of Poso in the heart of the octopus-shaped, Massachusetts-sized island.Behind the attacks are Muslim islanders avenging their dead in that conflict, and terrorists bent on fomenting a new war, former fighters and security officials say.
"They want to see Poso become alive with the spirit of jihad again," said Fahirin Ibnu Achmad, an Afghan-trained militant who took part in the 2000-2002 war.

Let's see, despite a "peace deal," bombings and shootings by Islamists in Indonesia continue. In Israel, despite a "cease fire," Islamist continue to fire rockets indiscriminately into Israel. Am I the only one who notices a pattern here?
Muslims move in bringing violence and terror and peace moves out. This has happened literally millions of times throughout history, all over the world. One woud think that SOMEONE would have noticed the pattern by now. Perhaps they're too afraid to make mention...
Islams idea of a 'peace deal' means they can attack us but we can't strike back or even defend ourselves.
If we defend ourselves they scream,
"Our religious beliefs are being repressed! We are being denied the logical expressions of our faith!".
Then of course the dhimmified authorities do everything possible to make us defenseless.
If we strike back they scream,
"Genocide! bigotry! Poor defenseless Muslims!".

Nobody is lonelier than the Christian minorities in Muslim countries.
Since the West has abandoned its Christian faith and turned to the worship of oil-guzzling vehicles, the new all-powerful idols are the Islamic oil states. They get the respect and adulation from the West now.

Sulawesi is almost ten times the size of Massachussetts and is nearly as large as the state of Utah.
Not very important-- but I have traveled to this island which I personally have loved very much as it is physically a very lovely land.
This situation is sad beyond words.
