BRUSSELS — The partners of several suspected terrorists being detained in Belgium are ready to carry out suicide attacks in Morocco, it was reported on Thursday.The claim was made in a police statement by Mohamed Reha, a Belgian of Moroccan ancestry who was arrested in Morocco earlier this month. News agency AFP has obtained a copy of the statement.
Reha studied at a Koran school in Syria but was deported at the age of 18 in June 2005 and returned to Belgium, Flemish newspaper 'De Standaard' reported.In Belgium, he allegedly received a telephone call from the wife of a man identified as Rachid Iba. "She asked me to come to Brussels. We agreed to meet in a [train] station," Reha told Moroccan police.
"She told me that many Muslim women whose husbands were arrested in Belgium would like to become involved in Jihad, the holy war. She asked me to help them by finding someone to train them and supply them with explosives."
Reha emphasised that the conversation was conducted via small notes. He confessed to promising the woman he would do everything possible to help the women succeed.

There's so much more to this story of course. We read of suspected terrorists, partners of suspected terrorists, a man who has been both deported and arrested (no reasons given), and possible trainers and suppliers of explosives. And somehow, they have no trouble being in touch with one another. Definitely there's a tangled web being spun in Belgium even as we read this.
It's ironic to read that many Muslim wives of arrested suspected terrorists are themselves eager to make the ultimate bloody and murderous "sacrifice" for Jihad.
Are these the same females who we are told are to conduct themselves with modesty and dignity (a la hijab), who are respected by Muslim males because of the special roles given them by Allah, and who are afforded the same (but nonetheless different)rights as men?
Modesty and dignity can hardly be found in a shredded, bloody and burned hijab; respect for those who main and murder innocents ("special role" or not) is nonexistent in any feeling human being; but the right to blow oneself up and go straight to heaven to await Allah's reward is an example of equal rights for male and female Muslims. One must ask though about that reward -- 72 eager young men for each female suicide bomber would be fair and equitable treatment, but since the men are already each tended by their own 72 virgins, the suicide bomber-matron may just find herself out in the cold. But she won't mind for she knows that in Islam "equal" means "different."
