Cartoon Rage Update: "Brussels mosque preacher denounces prophet-offensive cartoons," from IRNA, with thanks to Twostellas:
The imam (prayer leader) at the Islamic Center in Brussels, in his Friday sermon, strongly condemned the Danish and Norwegian publications which carried cartoons insulting Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him)."We denounce these offensive cartoons. Where are the human rights organizations? Why are they silent?" asked the Arab preacher.
...thus demonstrating a startling lack of understanding both of what constitutes a free society and of what constitutes a human rights violation.
Where are the human rights organizations? Why are they silent?"
Well, golly, they may just have better things to do.
Better things to do?! The infidels. Attending to war and famine when there's offensive cartoons to worry about!
I find the words "Belgian imam" offensive, as well as "Brussels mosque".
What fools let these malicious Fifth Column infil-traitors into the West in the first place?
If you follow a creed founded by a pedophile, you shouldn't be allowed to move into a country with laws against it.
Or should be deported if you don't renounce such a foul cult.
Quick, I need a waffle!
(Belgium's main contribution to the defense of freedom, it seems.)
Those who need to constantly DEMAND respect are obviously failing to INSPIRE it.
You want to push the buttons of millions of muslims? Draw some cartoons of their mad prophet MO. We should be pasting them to mosques everywhere.
"You want to push the buttons of millions of muslims?"
Not particularly.
Where are the human rights organizations?
We must infer from this scowling imam's question that Islam's ability to censor free speech is a basic human right.
MORE KORANS MORE HADITHS MORE SIRATS MORE MOSLEMS MORE ISLAM MO! MO!
The ultimate authority of Islam over all mankind has been challenged. That itself is a capital crime.
""We denounce these offensive cartoons. Where are the human rights organizations? Why are they silent?" asked the Arab preacher."
Dear Iman: You just exercised your human rights by expressing your opinion on the cartoons. More than that, you got to express it to your flock, as well as the general public, in your attempts to stir up anti-Danish hatred. Anything else we can do for you?
Wait a minute! Human rights organizations? Ye of little faith! Ask Allah; he knows best. (If Allah is busy, contact the 'ask imam' website.
Allah needs to get a sense of humor.
"Allah needs to get a sense of humor."
It's a bit hard when your tushie is roasting in the hellfire.
For once the Belgiam iman asked a good question where are the Human Rights organizations? Indeed as the authors of the cartoons and the newspaper has received threats indeed it is up to Human Rihts organizations to denounce these threats and to realize that civil rights abuses must stop these threats are civil rights violations and the iman should indeed call human rights to stop the threats he does love human does he not?
