From our Proportionate Reponse Department comes this item posted by Dr. Rusty Shackleford at the Jawa Report: the threat of a jihad-martyrdom attack in Denmark, "Warnings of Impending Suicide Attack in Denmark." Why? You guessed it: those cartoons.
The Glory Brigades in Northern Europe are now threatening suicide attacks in Denmark. The originals can be seen and downloaded at Infovlad who has them archived. A rough translation of the warning from an Islamic forum can be seen at Tracking al Qaeda.The Glory Brigades of Northern Europe have threatened terrorist actions in both Sweden and Denmark in the past. The current threats are being made in retalliation for cartoons appearing in Danish papers which are said to be offensive to Muslims.
I wonder how many Christian fundamentalists have threatened to blow themselves up in New York over Kanye West's portrayal of Christ in Rolling Stone?

Well, gents, I understand that the Perelli Calendar for 2006 is out. I've seen only one photo from some month. Excellent example of female topology. Looks like the girl ate her brussel sprouts while she was growing up. Doesn't look like she wants for anything...

We must find some way to get better coverage for these stories. They would seem to cut across all political lines in the West: Conservatives: For Obvious reasons. Liberals: Direct attack against free speech, secular-humanism, etc.
How do we get Liberals to wake up and smell the coffee? If the Muslims are able to force Denmark to cave, nothing else will be safe. Western values will have received a virtual mortal blow. Sure, we will continue to rant on JW/DW and write our family and friends. However, no other news agency or country will again risk the ire of the Islamic World. The Islamic World will therefore control the West.

Eurabia is in the beginning throes of a low intensity conflict. Socialism and the destruction of Nationalism has rendered much of Eurabia impotent. I hope that Denmark stands tall in the face of naked islamic agression and becomes a rallying point for a renewed European spiritual revival... I just heard on the bbc worldservice, news that a major Danish company has taken out massive ads. in saudi to try to counteract a fall in sales of their products, due to the BOYCOTT of Danish products.(following the CARTOONS of BigMo)
Well there's the answer. Make sure you boycott every product with any connection to saudi, (bit difficult with oil. but some gas companies take less saudi crude) or for that matter any moslim country.

As many of you know, I'm sometimes an entrepreneur, coming out with a line of Koranic toilet paper, you know, verses from the Koran printed in lovely colors on toilet paper. But all this attention over a few cartoons caused me to think: why not a line of Mohammed toilet paper? You know, pictures of Mohammed on individual sheets of toilet paper?
So...what say you? Good idea or bad?

Arla's a company... They think about profits first and morals second, so you can't really blame them for that.
On the other hand, Arla's suppliers, the "Danish milkproducers"(basically an association of farmers), are backing the line of Jyllands-Posten and our government saying, "We may experience a drop in the price of our milk, but this isn't about money. Freedom of speech is more important".
There also seems to be MASSIVE (and growing) support among the Danish population, with some 80%+ saying neither the government nor Jyllands-Posten should apologize. We're willing to take this one right on the chin and keep on truckin'.
As for the BBC story... It's a shame they can't bring themselves to publish the whole truth. Untill Danish muslims asked those original 11 ambassadors to intervene, they had no intention of doing so.

What do you expect? Arla is a commercial operation who do not wish to throw away a position in the arab world that it has taken them decades to build up. I'ts got nothing to do with dhimmification and everything to do with making money...

Typical, appropriate, all knowing and wise!. Well thought out! Well directed! Brillant! Compassionate! Moral! Goodwill! Love! Kill the cartoonists! Punish all Danish people and Danish companies for the cartoon of a couple of Danish cartoonist. Perhaps the boycott and punishment is because the Danes refuse to fulfill Allah’s mandate to murder the cartoonists, blasphemers. Perhaps the faithful should broaden their boycott to all of Europe to find one righteous European to fulfill the commandment of Allah to kill the mocking infidel cartoonists.
These are the kind of people that will kill an entire community because one member is perceived as mocking of them. What kind of God thinks his criticism in a cartoon is more important than the life of another human? What kind of a person thinks God is great when you are holding the helpless person down sawing off the person’s head screaming for his life that you have been instructed by God to do this and the pain the one you are murdering is nothing like the pain that murdered person will shortly experience when they pass on post death.
It has been said that the world is experiencing a class of civilizations. There is no clash as one side cannot be characterized as a civilization.

In one supermarket chain, Danish products, including Arla’s, have been removed from the shelves and replaced by a sign reading “Danish products were here” Other stores have kept the products on the shelves, but have put yellow tape around them alongside a sign reading “Danish products”.
In one incident, stones were thrown at a vehicle carrying Arla products and Arla employees have been thrown out of stores along with their products.
might i suggest that Jihadwatchers, LGF and other bloggers start a BUY DANISH campaign, with links to carlsberg, arla and other danish products?
so, next time you're buying a beer - ask for a carlsberg.
1) Buy Danish. Ask local supermarkets to go out of their way to do so. Don't let up, and go to the management.
2) Visit Denmark if you are in a vacationing mood, and make sure everyone knows that you have chosen to do so as an act of solidarity.
3) Write letters to Congressmen asking that a statement be made by someone -- anyone -- in Congress about this boycott.
4) Ask local publications -- The New Duranty Times, The Bandar Beacon -- why they have hardly covered this story, and why they have not reproduced the cartoons so as to enlarge the numbers of press outlets under Saudi and Muslim threat. Let Saudi Arabia boycott American goods. And let the United States, as well as the other countries of the E.U., think again about having those 10,000 Saudi students, and about allowing the Saudi rulers access to American medical care, American education for their spoiled children. And the same should be done all over Europe until that boycott of Danish goods ends.

They, the Saudis and other Muslim Arabs, have nothing we need or desire except the oil that is an accident of geology. They make nothing. They create nothing. They can only damage us becuase of that accident. Work to diminish the revenues they receive as a result of that accident.
As is common when Islam is involved, the real issue is obscured with threats of violence. Denmark, and Danish products, are not the problem facing the outraged Muslims -- but freedom of speech and expression is the problem.
Islam cannot tolerate free expression: it is threatened by any thought or action which doesn't toe the "party line."
And so, the messenger is attacked -- while the message is ignored.
What was the real message contained in those cartoon depictions of Mohammed? The real message was not an attempt to outrage Muslims, by illustrating unthinkable (to Muslims) thoughts displaying Mohammed in an unfavourable light, but an attempt to show the impression of Mohammed that those in the West get by observing the actions of his followers, by reading about his exploits, and by reading his words. If this is the wrong impression, his followers are welcome to show us how it is wrong.
I hope that the messenger, in this case the Danish press (backed up by the heretofore staunch Danish government), remains firm.
