Add the costs involved in creating, training, and maintaining this force to the ever-rising hidden costs of encouraging virtually unrestricted immigration without assimilation, as has been demanded by the immigrants themselves up until it became advantageous for them to complain about not being assimilated. But as an illustration of how far anyone is from recognizing those costs, this story doesn't even mention the fact that the marauding "youths" were immigrants; it has, however, been noted in earlier reports.
No reports, of course, will dare say the immigrants were Muslim and likely motivated by contempt for French infidel society and the general Islamic attitude toward unbelievers, but as they were reported as being from North Africa, it is reasonable to surmise that such attitudes played a role. PARIS - France will create a special police force to ensure security for railway passengers after a band of marauding youths robbed and sexually assaulted train travelers in southeast France, the interior minister said Wednesday.Nicolas Sarkozy, responding to concerns about the Jan. 1 rampage, told TF1 television that a national railway police force will be in place this year, with 1,000 to 1,500 officers.
Authorities estimated that up to 40 youths took part in the rampage on the Nice-Lyon route, echoing the car burnings, vandalism and other violence that rocked France in a three-week wave of rioting in depressed French suburbs in the autumn.
Two 19-year-olds were being held on charges of theft and sexual assault in the Jan. 1 spree and were scheduled to appear in court in March, authorities said.

They work closely with the other police forces but are spread very thin sometimes. Possibly because they are on the move so much I have always found them very resourceful and able to operate with initiative.
All I know is on an American train, someone would've stepped up and done something. The fact that dozens of French "men" did nothing while kids assaulted women in front of them is beyond alarming.

What a catastrophic burden Islam is on Western countries. Think of all the money wasted on just protecting ourselves from Muslims. In our own countries. Airports, train stations, ferry terminals, seaports, government buildings, military installations, borders, large gatherings, etc., etc., etc.
And it can only get worse. It's not as if the problem ceases after a certain period of adjustment, or after the 2nd generation (like with other immigrant groups). No, it gets worse. Not just the numbers increase, but the level of their hatred and propensity for violence, and confidence increases too. We're in for a nightmarish time.
If the French use the Palestinian example they will hire those 40 "youths" into this Police unit.
All I know is if I were in a similar situation, I would certainly want someone by the name of Triplenecksteel around.

Let's be realistic about this. The only way to prevent further such attacks is to deport Muslims from France. Muslims have no place in the West. They must be removed. Of course this will involve unrest and bloodshed on a massive scale, but the survival of our loved ones, families, and communities depends on it. End of story.
This story illustrates another effect: the increasing 'militarization' of our societies. Mass non-white immigration and multiculturalism lead to instability and unrest, requiring a response from the state. Therefore today, France is considering the formation of national railway police. Tomorrow, France may create many more special forces units and eventually sanction the arming of all white French citizens. It brings to mind the images of dowdy white housewives in Rhodesia and South Africa brandishing pistols and rifles.
Western governments are losing their grip on the growing social, political, and security crises to which their suicidal, treasonous policies have directly contributed. Eventually it will be up to us, the free patriots of the West, to take back our countries and expel both the traitors currently in power and the invaders.

In France, many if not most of the violent youths are black Africans. It is a racial issue as much as it is a religious one.

Stuka, I must agree with Sheik that it is not race that is the problem. In the western world, muslims are seeking to recruit the disenchanted racial monorities by arguing that the Europeans are racist pigs. They do this in such countries as the UK and US very effectively. We dare not feed that myth. Racism is cancerous and very dangerous.
In the West, race IS the problem. People of European descent are being replaced at an unprecedented rate--in our own countries. Excuse me while I oppose ethnic cleansing and genocide.
I would argue that mass non-white immigration and multiculturalism lead to instability, unrest, and --ultimately--authoritarianism. I can see this process at work as I write. The more Africans and Muslims that France imports, the more Draconian the laws there become for true French citizens.
