Gazans burn Danish flags, demand cartoon apology

I think we should give them just that: a cartoon apology. Send Bugs Bunny to munch his carrot and say, "Ehhhh...sorry about that, doc."

Seriously, the entire free world, and everyone who values freedom of speech, should be standing with Denmark now.

Cartoon Rage Update from Reuters, with thanks to Kemaste:

GAZA (Reuters) - Thousands of Palestinians protested for a second day on Tuesday against Denmark for allowing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad to be published, saying an apology by the newspaper involved was not enough.

Demonstrators burned Danish flags, chanted "War on Denmark, Death to Denmark" and called for an Arab boycott of products from the small north European country until it showed contrition for the satirical caricatures deemed blasphemous by Islam.

Anger has spread across much of the Muslim world.

The offices of the Danish newspaper were evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat. "I can confirm we evacuated Jyllands-Posten. There has been a bomb threat and we have evacuated the building," a police spokesman said.

The offices of Jyllands-Posten in its headquarters in Denmark's second city Arhus and in the capital Copenhagen were evacuated and police and sniffer dogs searched the buildings.

The newspaper apologized on Monday, but that was not enough for the Gaza protestors.

our friend , The Religious Policeman , is reporting that Muslim offense levels are "High"

unfortunately, Norway's mad and rabid govt has already capitulated. They are trying to outdo Quisling, it seems. I was hoping that the Arabs would boycott Norway and then the rabid Norwegian diplomats would find it more difficult to interfere in Middle Eastern politics, which they usually do on the side of the murderers. Like Vidkun Quisling.

* Hungary sides with Denmark. Says the Hungarian foreign minister: "To us, freedom of speech is a cornerstone of a functioning democracy". The arab reaction is "unfitting".

* In the arab parts of Palestine, the Danish representative office in Ramallah was fired on yesterday, and today demonstrations burned pictures of, among others, prime minister Fogh, US president Bush and Israeli prime minister Olmert.

* In Iraq, a terrorist has issued a fatwa against the Danish battalion stationed there.

* In Sudan, the foreign minister has urged "all sudanese companies and institutions to stop the import of Danish products".

* In Bahrain, the parliament has passed a resolution calling for boycott of Danish goods, and demanding apologies from the Danish government and the Danish queen.

* A like resolution from the Egyptian parliament has brought EU trade commisioner Peter Mandelson to threaten opening an investigation into it, since government-sponsored boycotts are a breach of WTO-rules.

* At the same time the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior representing 17 arab ministers has demanded the Danish government punish those responsible for the 12 drawings.

* Suicide bombers are threatening attacks on Denmark.

Belmarsh prison in London

LONDON, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- A leaked document from Britain's high-security prison for terror suspects says a radical and violent Muslim inmate gang is recruiting inmates for al-Qaida.

The report obtained by The Mirror from the head of security at Belmarsh prison in London said a gang known as The Muslim Boys are terrorizing other prisoners, with beatings and slashings.

"Prisoners reported abuse, assaults, intimidation and threats," the document said after a December security review. "Some of the atrocities were carried out with impunity during associations causing victims to fear for their lives."

The report said corrections officers fear they are losing control of the prison, and said 32 cell phones and 191 stashes of drugs were found at the jail between July and December.

A source told the newspaper about 125 Muslim prisoners gather each week for a religious service, and six guards attend, but have no idea what they are talking about. Under Britain's human rights laws, the meeting cannot be recorded for translation.

”Shari’a shapes society from beginning to end...”

[T]he interplay of society, politics, and religion has a completely difference structure in Islam as a whole. Today's discussion in the West about the possibility of Islamic theological faculties, or about the idea of Islam as a legal entity, presupposes that all religions have basically the same structure, that they all fit into a democratic system with its regulations and the possibilities provided by these regulations. In itself, however, this necessarily contradicts the essence of Islam, which simply does not have the separation of the political and religious sphere which Christianity has had from the beginning. The Koran is a total religious law, which regulates the whole of political and social life and insists that the whole order of life be Islamic. Sharia shapes society from beginning to end. In this sense, it can exploit such partial freedoms as our constitution gives, but it can't be its final goal to say: Yes, now we too are a body with rights, now we are present just like the Catholics and the Protestants. In such a situation, it would not achieve a status consistent with its inner nature; it would be in alienation from itself.

Islam has a total organization of life that is completely different from ours; it embraces simply everything. There is a very marked subordination of woman to man; there is a very tightly knit criminal law, indeed, a law regulating all areas of life, that is opposed to our modern ideas about society. One has to have a clear understanding that it [Islam] is not simply a denomination that can be included in the free realm of a pluralistic society.

Those are the words of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict XVI, penned in 1996.

Mujahideen Army Calls Upon Fighters to Attack Denmark and Norway
The Mujahideen Army in Iraq--a prominent Sunni insurgent group--has released a new communique threatening to attack Denmark and Norway over a series of recent cartoons ridiculing the Prophet Mohammed. According to the statement:

“…We, along with the rest of the world, have observed the offensive and harmful blasphemy against the blessed messenger Mohammed. This wrongdoing was perpetrated by several institutions from the promiscuous countries Denmark and Norway who secretly hate Islam and its leaders... Settling for [merely] boycotting these cowards is a position of weakness that is indicative of a feeble nation that does not stand up in defense of its Prophet and the principles that it believes in. They started [the battle] and they should suffer its consequences. We call upon all our brigades in the Mujahideen Army to attack whatever they possibly can in these two countries specifically, and in other countries who repeat what they have done… Let us make our own efforts on top of Allah’s expected revenge—and hopefully, Allah will choose us to be among those who seek revenge for Mohammed in his name, as this in itself is a great honor for a Muslim.”

I totally agree with a moslem boycott of the entire non moslem world.

They should stop exporting their totally stupid religion.

But seriously, SW trains have introduced a book borrowing scheme at stations, complete with "community notice boards" may be us sad disaffected london commuters should put some of the carttons up !

PS sorry about the typos but my jewish friend has just returned from the mid east with a bottle of whiskey as a rewqard for looking after his house !

For our Danish friends-

Just got off the White House comment line.
Apparently they are getting lots of calls about the cartoon issue.
Let's strike a blow for free speech.
Call today.

Why doesn't the rest of the world print the cartoons to show support for freedom of speech?

Here is my idea for a cartoon:

On the left….Christ
On the right ….Muhammad

Caption at the bottom”
“So who do you think will be offended more? Christians for drawing Christ next to Mohammed, or Moslems for drawing Mohammed?”

Some good news from the UK where Tony Blair's government was just defeated in
its attempt to overturn the Lords' decision to protect freedom to criticise religion (originally criminalised in the incitement to religious hatred bill).

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4664398.stm

I used to think that the only industry in the Middle East was the oil industry. Apparently there is also another thriving industry: the one responsible for the making of flags. Israel's, USA's and now apparently Denmark's sell like hot buns.

Robert's take on The Cartoon Rage mentioned here..also contains link to a comprehensive mohammed image archive

"Under Britain's human rights laws, the meeting cannot be recorded for translation"

yeah, the prison guards cant, but MI5 can , and they operate above the law.

the UK government isnt THAT stupid.

Israeli Tatiana Soskin spent 2 years in jail in Israel for a cartoon of mohammed as a pig..that's
a shocker..
http://www.masada2000.org/tatiana.html

I wish all of this Islamic foment would make the Muslims collectively and spontaneously combust... Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing?

"Demonstrators burned Danish flags, chanted "War on Denmark, Death to Denmark""

That's the "Religion Of Peace" everyone!

Horatio. Good one. I think what th e world needs
right now is to be flooded with depictions of
Mo'. I thought the strip with Mo' and Jesus
at the end of the site that hammerhead posted
was a laugh.

The best possible thing to happen would be for
Muslims to leave. But in the end, we know that isn't
going to happen, so the fight has to go to them.
More comics!

I think we should give them just that: a cartoon apology. Send Bugs Bunny to much his carrot and say, "Ehhhh...sorry about that, doc."

Yosemite Sam would be a much better candidate to issue an apology to these Islamic varmants.

It's a shame that noone's pointed out the irony of this situation. They are pissed at us for "blaspheming" and "insulting their religion, so they burn our flags(Danish and Norwegian). What they should ofcourse know is, every time they burn one of those flags or stomp on it, they insult the entire christian world.
It's no coincidence those flags carry the cross. After all, it is one the most sacred/holy symbols of christianity...

Good can come of this, and bad. The bad we know. The good is that the entire Infidel world can see on display the craziness, the pathological aggression and hysteria of Muslims, unfiltered by time and distance, unmediated by the local color of coffee-table picture books on Islam, full of Ottoman tulips and turbans, or a blue mosque or two, but rather, the naked display of the primitive attitudes, the hysteria, which may not be displayed by Muslims in the middle of London or Paris or Rome, but if you ask for their opinions, the opinions of these "moderates," on this kind of attempt to threaten an entire country over a few quite innocuous cartoons published a few months ago in a Danish newpaper for Danish readers (and which passed at the time unremarked), you will find blood-curdling their response -- and then you will begin to get the idea. It is the same kind of thing that you can evoke, promptly, by mentioning some of the details of Muhammad's life, or for that matter asking that nice old Dr. Zaki Badawi what he thinks of Israel, and all of a sudden, as he turns to tell you "of course Israel will have to go, the Jews can't stay there" you suddenly realize that all of your assumptions about a hope for "peace" and "dialogue" were wrong. That realization comes to the clever sooner, to the less clever much later -- but it comes.

And the mass boycottinig, all over the Arab Muslim countries, so total and complete, and the angry recall of ambassadors by Saudi Arabia and Libya, and the death threats directed at Danes, and the demand for a craven apology, and the viciousness of the Muslim campaign that has been based on a forgery -- a forgery of cartoons every bit as forged and phony as the Donation of Constantine, the Zimmermann Telegram, and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Now is the time for the leaders of the Western world, and the craven editors at The New Duranty Times and The Bandar Beacon, to talk about, to print, the original cartoons, and side-by-side, the forgeries made by Muslims to whip up Muslim fury. An apology is now required: an apology from all the Muslim states that knowingly permitted these forgeries to be distributed, spread, made much of, and to whip up the primitive and hysterical masses who are the true face of Islam -- and not the smooth Tariq Ramadan or others like him.

Will the Infidel world insist that this kind of behavior is unacceptable? Will President Bush, in his speech tonight, allude to this matter, and to the assault, within the Western world, on Western freedoms that took a long time to develop, that took a millennium, that took the Enlightenment, that took Locke and Rousseau and Montesquieu and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Thomas Paine, and the spirit of Constant and Tocqueville and Mill and Bentham and philosophic radicalism and a thousand other thinkers? Will he, won't he?

We'll find out.

Good Evening Charles.
Good news indeed.

My favourite comment from BBC's Have Your Say
"As a Christian I welcome robust debate (and disagreement) about my religion. If Christianity can't tolerate criticism it isn't worth following. If it is from God then opposition and even derision won't succeed."
And a close second "Lets face it - this bill is for supporters of the Islam religion and none other. It cannot be for any other religion because as far as I can see, other religions take most critism as it comes and either laugh it off or put forward their point of view without the need for extremist actions."

let Dubya know that you are on the side of Danes.

maybe suggest that they give the Danish PM , Anders Rasmussen, the medal of freedom?

Granny,

Any idea what Dr. Rowan Williams feels about the cartoon issue....has he said anything?

Apparently the French have started using the cartoons as illustrations. The weekly magazine "Nouvel Observateur" and the conservative daily "Le Figaro" are showing the cartoons as illustrations for articles on the internet.
Atleast that's what Jyllands-Posten is reporting.

Naseem
There might be something in this weeks Church Times over the weekend.

The children's website Al Fateh, property of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, demands in its most recent issue the return of the Spanish city of Seville to the "lost paradise" of Al Andalus, as the Muslim part of Spain was called during its existence between 711 and 1492. The web magazine, whose name means "conqueror," says it is for "the young builders of the future."

http://www.spainherald.com/2414.html

Watch for the Intifada to start in Spain.

Charles Martel,

I'm soooo happy to hear that law wasn't passed. Congrats to the Brits!

He he. You really gotta love the Jyllands-Posten. In yesterdays "apology for offending muslim feelings, not for publishing the cartoons", something interesting happened. Many probably know about the apology from the Danish or English version, but we really should have paid attention to the arabic version.
According to the Danish imams who instigated this international "incident", the arabic version did NOT "apologize", it still only "regretted".

My Cartoon caption Idea...

first Caption" Mo is looking at a woman dressed in a full burqa. Her eyes are wrinkled to indicate she is quite aged. He is straight faced and impassive

Second Caption: Mo is looking at a clearly younger woman dressed in a burqa. Her eyes are big and smooth indicating she is definately a younger woman. Mo is again straigh faced and imapassive

Third Caption: Mo is looking at an obnoxiously big chested woman in a burqa. This woman also has young looking eyes. Again, he is straight faced and imapssive

Last Caption: There is a very young little girl wearing a start of david no burqa (Aisha sp?). A body is in the background that's been decapitated. Mo is pitching a tent and has a lustfull look in his eyes.

NOW THIS TOON WOULD MAKE THEIR HEADS EXPLODE...

The Times February 01, 2006

'This is not just about cartoons, but standing up for our values'
From Anthony Browne, in Copenhagen

THE Danish editor who brought the fury of the Muslim world on his country by printing pictures of the Prophet Muhammad defiantly declared yesterday: “We do not apologise for printing the cartoons. It was our right to do so.”

As protests continued for a second day in Gaza with shouts of “Death to Denmark”, Flemming Rose, the culture editor of the centre-right daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten, sat in his book-lined office declaring his surprise at the reaction.

He said that he had to stand his ground because, as in the Salman Rushdie affair, freedom of speech was being threatened. “There is a lot at stake. It would be very naive to think this is only about Jyllands-Posten and 12 cartoons and apologising or not apologising.

“This is about standing for fundamental values that have been the (foundation) for the development of Western democracies over several hundred years, and we are now in a situation where those values are being challenged,” he said.

“I think some of the Muslims who have reacted very strongly to these cartoons are being driven by totalitarian and authoritarian impulses, and the nature of these impulses is that if you give in once they will just put forward new requirements.”

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,13509-2019000,00.html

is the editors statement just above before or after the supposed apology.. I am confused???

O.K. i see now..

"Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Danish Prime Minister, has rejected calls for an apology on the ground that Denmark has a free press.

A poll over the weekend showed that 80 per cent of Danes thought that the Government should not apologise and 62 per cent thought that the newspaper should not apologise. Jyllands-Posten tried to calm tempers on Monday by apologising for any offence caused, but stood firm on its decision to print the pictures.
"

Granny, we have scored a goal! This morning I wrote as follows to my MP - I wonder if this helped him "wake up" (not sure how he voted):
" would like to express my oppostion to this Bill in any form since in my opinion the current British legislation covers all cases of incitement to religious violence. I think that the term "religious hatred" implies severe restriction on the right to express negative or critical opinions about religions. Thus if I disagree with tenets of a certain religion then it means I do not like it / accept it/ I find it detrimental etc. The word "hate" is simply a stronger way of phrasing my dislike of what this religion teaches. I strongly believe that passing this bill will force people to autocensorship for the fear of being prosecuted since (as I have explained above) "hatred" is such a vague term. Furthermore I would like to stress that as a Christian I have no problem with my religion being subjected to any kind of exegesis or criticism, especially if Christian teachings are in conflict with the laws in a democratic society,
if they target civil liberties or try to violate the notion of equality of every individual regardless of their race, faith or sexual orientation. However, as an individual I should have the right to express my disgust towards any instance of a religion if it teaches intolerance towards members of different faiths, if its holy books promote discrimination of any sort or if among its goals is the subjugation of anybody who does not share it, if it punishes apostasy with death or forces underage girls into a marriage etc. If I find it abhorrent I should be allowed to say it aloud or ridicule it.
"

I loved one of the comments in Have Your Say: I demand the right to be hated!

I will presume to make one suggestion for the insertion of a word in a comment above:

"the naked display of the primitive attitudes, the hysteria, which may not be displayed openly by Muslims in the middle of London or Paris or Rome..."

In the privacy of their homes, ain the "sanctity" of their Mosques, in the shrouded secrecy of their all-Muslim schools, or their all-Muslim enclaves in restaurants and clubs and suchlike -- these sophisticates, these urbane modern "moderate" Muslims in Paris and Rome and London and New York, these pious practitioners of Islam, these educated doctors, lawyers, teachers, civil servants, engineers, and welfare recipients nearly ALL wallow in shocking and vitriolic hatreds, nearly ALL engage in every manner of acidic and disdainful contempt for Westerners, Christians, Jews, and all such "infidels" as they define it...

I have heard it... I have seen it... In an unguarded moment here, a word or comment there... only hints of what they say and think behind closed doors, where they don't think they are observed, where they can remain anonymous among their fellow Muslims, where they are protected to do such by our secular laws...

so the editor in chief Carston juste issued the
quasi " we're sorry you are offended" statement..while the cultural editor Fleming Rose made the more defiant statement above..

Each European country will have its own epiphany. And each will be different in what it takes. For some, it will apparently take a great deal. For the Spanish, even the bombing of the Madrid metro was not enough. For the English even the bombing of the London underground was not enough. For the French, even the mass riots of Maghrebins and black African Muslims (with a handful of non-Muslims too scared not to participate with others from the same housing developments) were not enough. But in Holland the murders of Pim Fortuyn (by someone who, though an "animal rights" activist, killed Fortuyn for his opposition to Muslim immigration) and Theo van Gogh. For Denmark it has been the hysterical, venomous, murderous reaction of Muslims, both the Danish Muslims who concocted the 3 forged cartoons, and all the Muslism in Dar al-Islam who so enthusiastically joined in. The ability of Muslims to form hysterical mobs is nothing new. Perhaps readers will remember how, when one group of Muslims seized the Mosque in Mecca in late November 1979, the reaction of the Pakistani mobs was naturally to attack the American embassy and to kill Americans. It is never any different. Whenever things go wrong in the world of Islam and of Arabs, find Infidel fault, or exaggerate Infidel fault, or create (as with the cartoon forgeries) Infidel fault.

The advanced and the primitive cannot coexist, without damaging, fatally perhaps, the advanced And we owe it to those who left the legacy of Western society to us, not to simply throw it away. It can be rediscovered, held too more tightly, and with greater gratitude -- if this challenge to our collective existence is repelled with the relentlessness and the fury it certainly deserves.

On the protest outside the Parliament today - ironically one of the most vocal group of protesters against the Bill were evangelical Christians, whose rights apparently the new law was supposed to protect.

"On a day of unlikely alliances, the National Secular Society's Stewart Ware explained how he was able to make common cause with the evangelists.

"We do not agree on many things but we do on this," said Mr Ware, 52, from Walthamstow, London.

Surrounded by religious chants and songs, the campaigner against religious privilege confessed: "It is slightly odd and I won't say I enjoy it 100% but it's an experience.

"It's basically about freedom of speech. No one has the right not to be insulted or offended."
"
Not sure if I heard correctly on Radio BBC 4, but a Christian woman (claiming she has been living in the UK for 14 years) accused a Muslim man also present at the protest of "trying to overtake this country". Was this "incident" highlighted (or even staged) on purpose to in support of the Bill or am I getting paranoid???

I have had a similar impression while viewing a documentary on BBC a few months ago (after the 7th of July), in which a Muslim woman convert was interviewed about her new faith. The woman wearing a hijab was walking down with street with the journalist when all of a sudden a man leapt behind them shouting "You are all murderers!". The Muslim woman broke into tears and the journalist fell silent. What a cabaret!

This is the time for Denmark to round 'em up and ship 'em out, regardless.

Every 'cleric' involved in this, every known demonstrator, every flag-burning Mohammedan should be detained immediately and prepared for deportation.

If they don't do it now, they will regret it later. Other European nations should follow suit.

These are exceptional circumstances and we are at war. We have to start somewhere....

And still the MSM is doing its damnedest to sweep it under the carpet...

Hugh posted : The advanced and the primitive cannot coexist, without damaging, fatally perhaps, the advanced

I have said this for a long long time. No other way but separation.

Last night I wrote that Arla Foods was an innocent bystander in this storm over cartoons. Well, a Danish commentator (Dan) on LGF, has a view that has me thinking again.

Dan also notes that if we’re planning to buy Danish products, we may want to avoid products from those companies that are losing business in Arab countries—because they almost certainly agreed not to deal with Israel as a condition to sell in those countries. They made a devil’s bargain, and now it’s payment time.

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/

I had never given thought that Arla's economic success in the ME must have been bought by it refusing to do any business with Israel. In all the emotion, I completely forgot this dimension of the story. If it turns out that Arla did make such a condition then, as Dan points out, "they made a devil's bargain, and now it’s payment time".

Anyone know about Arla in this connection?

There is another lesson here for those companies that intend to do business in the ME. Do by all means export products and all that, but do not make huge investments in factories and the like - as they can be economically kidnapped and held to ransom, not just of the company but the nation where the company originates.

Granny,

I had to agree with one poster in the BBC Have Your Say who thought the bill should pass. According to this poster, immediately upon the bills enactment an enforcement action should be brought to ban the Koran for incitement to religious hatred and violence based on the words of its own text..."kill the unbelievers wherever you find them..."

jsla,

While spontaneous combustion or detonation would be ideal, a simple cardiac arrest or cerebral aneurism will do.

Lisa posted; immediately upon the bills enactment an enforcement action should be brought to ban the Koran for incitement to religious hatred and violence based on the words of its own text..."kill the unbelievers wherever you find them..."

That won't work. The imams in Britain woke up to that eventuality some six months ago. Whereupon Sacranie, Lord Ahmed and several other muslim leaders paid a visit to Charles Clarke and Tony Blair. They go assurances that the Bill was being framed in a manner that the koran could not be indicted for incitement to religious hatred.

I am sorry...

You muslims kill , rape, enjoy torturing others ......

But when any NON muslim points out the SHEER Lunacy of Islam and its fale prophet mohammed..

You all go off the deep end demanding apologies or else you will start killing non muslims..

Again as usual the muslims can dish it out but cant take it...

Like mohammed who when challenged by the jews about his false religion then used a lie in order to attack and annihalte them...

So unlike so many who are afraid of the muslim terrorists...

We Americans are not...
We will Fight...
Put that into your Koran and Smnoke it...

Spooky! For how long have these creeps managed to pull the wool over our eyes and ears? And who are these a-soles who cave in every time a Mohammedan "Lord" or "Sir" comes knocking?
This is beyond stupid.

Or are these politicians blackmailed or paid off somehow?

For for that matter asking that nice old Dr. Zaki Badawi what he thinks of Israel

You can try, but you'll need a ouija board.

sheik yer'mam

The much vaunted "muslim scholars" themselves did not realise that the koran could be so indicted, and this ignorance would have continued had it not been for the likes of sites such JW/DW, LGF, Fjordman etc. I believe it was reading such forums, that muslims realised the danger and approached their imams.

Now you may think that such a danger would have been easily spotted but you have to take into account the innate sense of superiority that muslims have about their religion and the koran. In their view, the koran is perfect - how on earth can it ever be brought to court on incitement to hatred?

sheik yer'mam

The Barnabus Fund will have details on this episode. The Barnabus Fund fought against the provisions of this Bill, which thank God, seems to have been defeated.

sheik yer'mami

Apologies for mis-typing your name.

Yes, the good that can come of this is more people see the unreasonableness and beligerence of Muslims over something so innocuous, and the threat to Western freedom of speech they pose. However, the only way they can see that is if they see the cartoons. On an online forum I look at once in a while, somebody wanted to see what the fuss was about as they couldn't find the cartoons. When a link was given, the reaction was that the cartoons were nothing to get all riled about and how stupidly and insanely the Muslims were acting over them. They were under the impression that they were truly insulting, something like Piss Christ.

Problem is, the mainstream media seems to be quite silent on the background of this issue, probably because it does show their precious Muslims in a bad light, acting like lunatics over nothing. Our SBS channel though (Australia-hating, loonie-leftie multicultural channel), in typical fashion, reported the fallacious story that one of the cartoons featured mohammed with a pig's head. Apparently some Danish Muslims were going around with phony cartoons, truly insulting ones, to really whip up anti-Danish sentiments. And this false report is the one our MSM runs with. I guess fact-checking is optional these days, particularly when it comes to smearing the West and pumping up the Muslim's sense of victimhood.

Stand firm Denmark, an Israeli Raid attacking Jihadis has just happened, and surely that will bring world attention against the jew away from the Dane, seems like Israel has broken the siege of Denmark.

Oh man. In a sane world that would be a political scandal, like KORANGATE or something. But inpacified, culturally shamed Britain, forget it.
The slimey politicians acknowledge the Koran is a hate document(AND IS IT EVER), and agree to protect it from indictment, while trying to push legislation that will protect Islam and the Koran from scrutiny, to the detriment of everyones civil rights.

Is anyone going to speak out about this??? Spread the word.

I should rephrase that, Tony Blair probably just agreed that the Koran is..." a bit dodgey"

Well placing yourself between two seats just hurts your buts, pleasing moslems, only the punishment of the offenders and the promise it will never happen again, will suffice.

Arla may not be guilty as charged since they don´t deal with Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria either.

But did play a huge role in trying to get PM rasmussen to cave in.

Zaki Badawi, mentioned above, lived in Great Britain, was honored as a Knight Commander of the British Empire, but never wished to acquire citizenship. He was made much of by many, who took him to be a "moderate." If by "moderate" one means someone who insists that Israel will have to "disappear" and cannot be allowed to continue, then Zaki Badawi was a moderate. If by "moderate" one means someone who didn't give a damn about the massacres in Darfur because he said the blacks there were not "real Muslims" and so, apparently, deserved no sympathy as the victims of "real, i.e. Arab, Muslims" then Zaki Badawi was a moderate.

One more fooler of the Infidels, including those who could have sworn by him. And there are now those who could just swear by Tariq Ramadan, or by Kahlil Shikaki, or their own private example of Muslim wonderfulness. Fooled, again and again. Until the next time.

Mohound Al-Zahhar, the new Pali leader, keeps telling the MSM that Pali's been living in Palestine since 'thousands of years'...

So far nobody corrected this historical falsehood.

Car-swarm time!

NPR (National Public Radio) continued the media disinformation campaign about the "offensive" Danish cartoons this afternoon. By failing mention the context of the creation of these images, in the first place, and by then having a Muslim spokeman come on, after the specious "story", to give a simpering editorial comparing the mildly-satirical pictures of Mohammad to the Nazi anti-semitic illustrated slanders in the 1930's.

Email NPR and ask them why they "forgot" to say why the Danes even bothered to draw these images. (Were they perhaps demonstrating free speech after a Danish book's author could not find one person to illustrate it because the artists feared the possibly viol-nt reaction by radical Islamicists, since it would have required them to draw an image of Mohammad?) And what the violent Muslim reaction tells of the original intention. (Bullseye.)

NPR, as usual, ignores the story until they can- glibly, shallowly, and too late- draw the wrong conclusions.

(Just goddamned perfect p.c. cultural suicidal journalism.)

"Anger has spread across much of the Muslim world".

What a crock. As if the BROTHERHOOD OF THE PERPETUALLY OFFENDED didn't organise a clearly targeted and dedicated campaign to rabble-rouse all across the muslim world, including the EU and the UN, over the past few weeks. And then there's this:

Kill those who insult the Prophet Muhammad (saw)

The kuffar in their sustained crusade against Islam and Muslims have yet again displayed their hatred towards us this time by attacking the honour of our beloved Messenger Muhammad (saw). In September 2005 the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published 10 cartoons depicting the prophet Muhammad (saw) which were later republished by a Norwegian paper Magazinet. Until now both governments have refused to denounce the drawings and to condemn the publication of them.

Denmark has a history of blasphemy against Islam, only in August did radio presenter Kay Wilhelmsen say that all fanatical Muslims should be exterminated and the rest should be kicked out of Europe. Last year the queen of Denmark aired her disapproval of Islam and for those “whom religion is their entire life”. Prior to this the Danish government issued the right to dismiss a Muslim woman from working in a supermarket for wearing the hijab. Furthermore Denmark is an ally of the war in Iraq with 500 troops stationed in the South and 10 from Norway showing their approval and participation in the war.

Both governments claim that one of their underlying principles is the freedom of speech and that everyone is free to speak their mind and to voice their opinions openly. They claim that the publication of these cartoons is a mere expression of ones opinions falling within the framework of the law. This is the same freedom of expression that quite readily prevents the propagation of Islam and support of the mujahideen using it as and when it suits them.

This should come as no surprise to the Muslims because this is the exact and true nature of the Kuffar that Allah (swt) has informed us of in the Quran. The Kuffar will never have respect for our deen, they will never honour it and will always seek to ridicule and disparage it. At every opportunity they will try to attack and belittle it whilst concealing the greater hatred they have for it in their hearts. This is also evident throughout the history of Islam where the Kuffar carried out similar acts to try and defame Islam. Allah (swt) tells us that: verily, the Kaafireen (disbelievers) are ever unto you your open enemies (4:101).

At the time of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) there were individuals like these who dishonoured and insulted him upon whom the Islamic judgement was executed. Such people were not tolerated in the past and throughout the history of Islam were dealt with according to the Shariah. Ka’ab ibn Ashraf was assassinated by Muhammad ibn Maslamah for harming the Messenger Muhammad (saw) by his words, Abu Raafi’ was killed by Abu Ateeq as the Messenger ordered in the most evil of ways for swearing at the prophet, Khalid bin Sufyaan was killed by Abdullah bin Anees who cut off his head and brought it to the prophet for harming the Messenger (saw) by his insults, Al-Asmaa bintu Marwaan was killed by Umayr bin Adi’ al-Khatmi, a blind man, for writing poetry against the prophet and insulting him in it, Al-Aswad al-Ansi was killed by Fairuz al-Daylami and his family for insulting the Messenger Muhammed (saw) and claiming to be a prophet himself. This is the judgement of Islam upon those who violate, dishonour and insult the Messenger Muhammad (saw).

Shortly after these incidents the people began to realise that insulting the Messenger of Allah (saw) was not something to be taken lightly and that by doing so would mean that you would be killed for it, a concept that many seem to have forgotten today.
The insulting of the Messenger Muhammed (saw) is something that muslims cannot and will not tolerate and the punishment in Islam for the one who does is death. This is the sunnah of the prophet and the verdict of Islam upon such people, one that any muslim is able to execute. The response of the muslims all over the world shows us the inability to deal with such people, the Kuffar are attacking our Messenger and are allowed to get away with it whilst muslims have no power to do anything about it. The leaders of the muslim world have no care for the deen of Islam as they are busy cementing their seats content with their power and wealth. Where are the Muhammad ibn Maslamah’s of our ummah who will defend the honour of our beloved Messenger and rise the banner of Tawheed high?

But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and attack your religion with disapproval and criticism then fight (you) the leaders of disbelief – for surely their oaths are nothing to them – so that they may stop evil actions (9:12).

religion of peace, RELIGION OF PEACE, re-li-gon of pea-ce, RELIGION of PPEEEAAACCEE

doesn't matter how you say it, still sounds hollow. It positively echo's with emptyness

Very good, SandiM!

Where is this from?

The Kuffar will never have respect for our deen, they will never honour it and will always seek to ridicule and disparage it.

Yup. The way we're raised, you don't demand respect, you earn it. Through your actions. Therefore, due to the vile, horrid actions of Islam, we cannot have respect for your "deen", and certainly not honour. And it's easy to ridicule and disparage such a bizarre cult, full of silly superstitions, hatred and backwardness. And look at its results worldwide. A joke. Countries that are dumps, physically and intellectually. People with no self-control who explode, figuratively and literally, over a lie created by an awful creature 1400 years ago solely for the benefit of his own greed and deviancy.

A sidenote to all this - has anyone noticed that Hamas seems to be more pre-occupied with Denmark than with Israel?

A CALL TO ALL MUSLIMS TO RISE AND DEFEND THE HONOUR OF THE MESSENGER MUHAMMAD (SAW)

DEMONSTRATION OUTSIDE DANISH EMBASSY

Demonstration Friday 3rd February 2006 – Danish Embassy 55 Sloane Street, London SW1 – 2pm to 4pm

http://www.alghurabaa.co.uk/

I dread to think what their idea of a "demonstration" is. Peaceful, of course. But some anti-Islam demon, the police, someone will do something to turn the peaceful "demonstration" violent and, of course, the peaceful Islamists can't be blamed for that, can they?

SandiM:

I just checked out the link you posted and first thought, "This has GOT to be a joke!"

These animals are actually calling for the killing of infidels in large, red letters!! Aren't there laws in Britain against this???????

I forwarded the website on to Tom Tancredo.
We need to deal with the immigration issue here.

I have been watching this site for a long time.

It disappeared about 4 - 6 weeks ago,("error" message was in German although it's a UK site). I kept checking back and, voila, last week it just as suddenly connected, although in a new format. Unfortunately, they haven't archived their old articles which, I have to say, were very confronting.

The writers don't concern themselves with dissembling or "double-speak" as so many do, so it's valuable to see their thoughts and attitude laid bare.

"My Cartoon caption Idea...NOW THIS TOON WOULD MAKE THEIR HEADS EXPLODE..."

Avatar and everyone else - I bought http://www.cartoonjihad.com solely for the purpose of posting imagery that muslims may find insulting.

I did so not for the sake of insulting them, but for the sake of freedom of speech. My offer stands to anyone - Send an image and I'll post it. If you're a web-designer (I'm not, I suck at it) and you want to run the site, I'll pay the hosting fees. Just go to the site and send me an e-mail off of the main page.

By the way, I'm glad to see Denmark join the club of countries that get their flag burned by the muzzies.

You're nobody until the muslims hate you and burn your flag!

Hammerhead,

Thanks for the earlier link http://www.masada2000.org/tatiana.html about Tatiana Suskin's arrest and Soviet-style placement in a mental hospital for the political "crime" of drawing a caricature of Muhammed as a pig. That Isael would do this to anyone is absolutely shocking.

Just as shocking was the response of the then Prime-Minister:

"Benjamin Netanyahu told the Arab mayor of Hebron that Tatiana's pig 'contradicts the respect and admiration the Jewish religion has for the Islamic religion and its founder [Mohammed]'."

Although I'm not Jewish by religion, I really doubt that Jews are under any obligation to respect a false prophet who raped and murdered the Jews of Yathrib. The Torah would seem to teach the opposite.

I fear this dhimmi has hoodwinked many Israelis with his facade of tough talk and may be PM again.

"I fear this dhimmi has hoodwinked many Israelis with his facade of tough talk and may be PM again."

Never forget that the Israelis, despite all of their prowess and elan, live in a meat grinder of hatred and constant incitement for their destruction... This is bound to have an erosive effect, it is, after all, the most potent weapon of Islam... It works like acid on a culture, and on the psyche. The calls for Jewish genocide from Iran are nothing new -- they're only receiving new and welcome airtime in the West --

Mr. Netanyahu knows full well what the Muslims surrounding and within his nation are capable of, if/when they decide to rampage over such matters... But your point is a good one that should warn everyone of the dangers of Islamic tactic of terrorism:

IT IS EFFECTIVE!

I don't agree that Mr. Netanyahu is a dhimmi as I understand it, but the comments you quote do have a tinge of it... Still, I would hope this translates into more support for the plight of Israel and her leaders, rather than less...
