I wonder how the demographic statistics are calculated. It's one thing to look strictly at birth rates, but it seems to me two other dynamics are happening. First, illegal immigration would increase the number of Muslims in Europe to a far larger number than indicated by the official statistics. Second, the accelerating decline in the quality of life will lead many Europeans, particularly those with marketable skills, to emigrate to the U.S., Australia and other places. As I said, I'm not sure if these dynamics are captured by the demographic calculations, but if not the Muslim conquest of Europe may happen sooner than expected.

A French demographer, in touch with Bat Ye'or, complained several years ago about how the French government was refusing to reveal the true statistics about the size of the Muslim presence. I don't know the present state of the complaint; I don't know what the French government now claims, or even what it really knows. But I throw this out, for consideration.

Given that --- as a fake religion and an aggressor political ideology --- Moslems do not accept the idea of the nation state, the first patches of Dar al Islam will appear in Europe as regions of formerly sovereign nations.

My estimate is that Malmo will secede from Sweden, thereby creating the first Islamic Republic in Europe. Malmo's easy sea access will facilitate provisioning the Islamic Republic of Malmo with food and weaponry.

HFH, there was an outstanding post a few months back on, IIRC, Belmont Club, regarding demographics. In the case of Europe, it's not just the numbers that are changing, it's the mean age that's changing as well. If the majority of French males are over, say, 45, then the number of French males 20-25 is smaller than the number of maghrebins 20-25, even though there are more Frenchmen total. The momentum lies with the greater numbers of young men, and in the case of French, that means with the mohammedans. The demographics in this case indicated that France was already lost, there weren't enough young men to deport the invaders. The older men will be taking their families and their wealth and fleeing if at all they can, but they mostly can't, since they were relying on the social welfare state to take care of them until death.

I happen to agree with you that the US should control its borders, and I question the benefit to the country of uncontrolled immigration, from Latin America, or anywhere. However, it is worth comparing the situation in the US, with Latino immigration, and Europe with Islam.

Latino immigration does not bring the kind of dangers that Muslim immigration does. Although there is an increase in poverty and related social problems from this immigration, there is no threat of terrorism. The thought of a Latino suicide bomber is absurd. Latino immigrants are Christian. Latino culture, in my extensive experience, is very tolerant and warm. We have all probably interacted quite a bit with Latinos; I have close Latino friends, neighbor and coworkers. I never encountered anti-semitism, hatred of the west, or conspiritorial thinking. Women have a high status in Latino culture, at least compared with most Muslim countries. You never see them forced into mobile prison-tents. In fact they seem free to speak their minds, there are no Latino honor killings of young women, and they even flaunt their sexuality when they want to without the fear of community reprisal.

My community and city (NYC) is probably 25% Latino. I am unaware of any effort by Latino community leaders to censor the public discourse, let alone threaten violence against anyone, for engaging in critical speech about anything. I admit there is an sight element of Reconquista about the Mexican immigration to the southwest (let's face it, we DID conquer it from them), but I find it hard to envision a serious political movement growing out of it. Mexicans who come into this country overwhelmingly want to be a part of it, not stand outside and separate themselves. Find me a third generation Latino who does not speak English and does not want to be part of American culture - they are few and far between. There are plenty of poorly educated Latinos with bad English skills, but very few who refuse to integrate into our society as a matter of principle. Our armed forces have a disproportionate number of Latinos, who serve with great honor and dignity, and no split loyalties.

In my opinion, the European nations should be inviting Latino immigration to mitigate the threat of Islamization. I know Spain is doing it with great success; in fact there are more Latino immigrants coming into Spain than Muslim, and as a result there is no threat of Spain going the way of France. There is no reason why other countries cannot do the same. When I think about how perilous the situation in Europe is, I want to find the nearest Latino immigrant and give them a great big hug.

I beg to differ about the zero growth of Christianity...there are millions of Christians in the underground church in China, huge numbers being converted in Africa and Asia each year and who knows the numbers of Muslims who have converted but are constrained from public confessions due to death threats.

That is mostly due to the low reproductive rates of the 1st world and the high repro rates of the Muslim world. And the repro situation in Europe is worse today than it was 30 years ago.

I like the guys's optimisim, but the examples he uses are all based on Judeo-Christian examples (eg Catholicism in the USA or Canada). While many humanists hate this fact, the West was once Judeo-Christian. And as much as Catholicism v's Protestant as in difference, they have much much more in common. Besides that they both use the Bible as the basis to make law - and it is the law of the Land that unites or divides a people/nation.

No to Muslim demands to not test on a Muslim holiday.

From a recent article in The New York Post "UNHOLY MESS; MUSLIMS PROTEST AS SCHOOL TESTS FALL ON HOLIDAY", the New York City educational authorities rejected demands from Muslim students to postpone testing of 6th graders, because of parents complaints that the testing fell on the 2nd most important Muslim holiday of the year, Eid ul-Adha.

Although the a New York Muslim council. complained that it is disrespectful to Islam for any testing to happen on such an important, the authorities stated that Muslim children, like anyone who missed the exams for personal reasons, had the choice of not attending and waiting for makeup examines later in the year.

In-spite of vocal protests, from the parents, who attend, the Dar El-Dawa Mosque, the school board said tuff luck no special rules will be made for Muslim students.

It appears that many New Yorkers still have the images of 911 in our memories and think how dare they in this of all cities they make such demands.

El Cid is ever vigilant, and mindful of the innocents lost at the hands of those who attacked New York. This demand from the so-called "religion of peace" was offensive to many New Yorkers.
